They are doing something right over there. It is very easy to hate on a cellphone provider or Internet provider service location. It is a stressful experience by nature but often the employees have nothing to do with it and get vented on. I had to write a review for this place because the staff was just so noticeably friendly and helpful. They helped me learn about my screen protector warranty and how I could get one mailed to me for free and answered all my questions about coming back and having it put on. I filled out my warranty request, I got my screen protector mailed to me just like they said, and then I came back and they helped me put my screen protector on free of charge. They really didn't make any money from this whole exchange other than making me a happy Verizon customer. To me, they went above and beyond. They didn't have to put that screen protector on for me, and because they did, my life has been so much easier and the whole problem has been resolved. My phone is like brand new again. The store was not busy upon our arrival.6/11/26 at 1pm. Salesman #1 sold us a Kyocera DuraXV Extreme flip phone for $250.00. We explicitly stated we wanted to keep our current 27-year-old service plan. During the paperwork process, Salesman #1 was highly distracted, actively watching a soccer game on a computer screen across from us. He had us sign the final documents on a small tablet PC, but we were never shown an itemized breakdown, nor were we provided a paper receipt or digital invoice. 2:00 PM - Abandonment and Delays: Salesman #1 spent roughly 10 minutes showing us how to operate the new phone. When a new customer entered the store, Salesman #1 abandoned us and told us to wait so he could assist the new customer. We waited for 30 minutes. We then approached Salesman #2, who was not busy, and asked for assistance. Salesman #2 told us, "Just a minute," but never returned to help us. Salesman #1 eventually returned, but instead of helping us himself, he handed us his personal smartphone with a Verizon customer support agent already on the line, expecting us to handle the remaining setup with phone support. 3:00 PM - Resolution by Employee #3 (Devin): An employee named Devin (Employee #3) noticed our long wait time and proactively stepped in to help. After we explained the situation, Devin took over the phone call with customer support, wrote down all necessary instructions, and thoroughly taught us how to use the new phone. Thanks to Devin's assistance, we were finally able to leave the store at approximately 4:45 PM. Because we received no paper receipt or tablet invoice at the store, we logged into our online Verizon account at home to check the charges. We discovered a total bill of $320.01, broken down as follows: Kyocera Phone: $250.00 Upgrade Fee: $40.00 Verizon Mobile Protect (Insurance): $16.00 (Added without our consent) Taxes & Fees: $30.01 Service Plan Hike: Our monthly service rate had been secretly altered from our grandfathered rate of $53.54 up to $74.30. [1] We immediately called Verizon phone support to report this experience. The phone agent successfully corrected the store's errors, removed the unauthorized changes, and restored our monthly service rate back to our original $53.54. We recommend that the manager trains employees on improving customer care and ensures fair treatment for senior citizens. read more

This is the 4th Verizon store we have gone to (after Torrance, Carson ,Hawthorne). The first three stores were an absolute nightmare with inexperienced sales people and pushy sales tactics that didn't explain what we were getting. Our experience at this location was by far the BEST in-store iPhone shopping experience we have ever had in the entirety iPhones have existed. Brandon was an absolute rockstar in explaining everything and we were in and out within 10 minutes with a new phone and a better understanding of our phone plan and why we should keep the current plan we have. Walked in to pay off my phone and unlock it so I could switch carrier. First dude that helped me said he'll see if it gives him the ability to unlock after the payment goes through. Said it sometimes gives them the option to do so, unfortunately it didn't so I'd have to call 611. I called and got a bad rep so I went back inside to see if they could try again. Got a different guy this time and this guy tells me they don't do it in store. I said from my understanding you can. He said let me check with my manager. Comes back and says no they don't. We came here last weekend to upgrade my dad's phone from an IPhone 7 to an IPhone 16. I have to give it to Anthony who helped him as he had amazing patience responding to my dad's repeated questions. He's not the easiest person to deal with in his old age and Anthony didn't show one sign of frustration. The wait for an available associate does take a while but it is worth the wait. first off I wanna start off by saying Sales associate Josue Alfaro handled my purchase very trashy so first off my mother and me her son agreed to lease the new iPhone 17 pro max because of new vapor feature so we placed a order online we payed it got approved and everything online the only mistake I did was putting a incorrect email so I didn't get the confirmation to upload further documents so My Biggest mistake was coming here and have josue Alfaro help us and what he did shocked me and left my mother very confused and upset Josue Alfaro ran are credit for a completely different plan and the whole transaction was scrapped by Josue A and triggered the fraud department to lock the account when Josue didn't check the previous confirmation code that I had and proceeded run my mother credit when I already had a pending order that was just awaiting documentation to the email I put incorrectly and ran my mothers credit 2 inquiry after are initial online order credit check so I demand Josue A gets retrained because me and my mother are still upset and he also added a plan and benefits that on my online approval didn't have I signed up for 17 pro max 48 month term with Verizon simplicity and I declined verizon phone protection and Josue sales rep completely did the opposite of what I asked then josue sales rep started a new plan with services I didn't even ask for I am shocked at the way sales rep Josue A handled are situation ! read more

I upgraded in May. I turned my phone in at the store. Then for two months I get texts and emails from Verizon saying I needed to turn in my phone or lose my credit. Even though my account had a note with the transaction number saying I tunred in the phone. More than seven calls to customer service and four trips to the store with no one being able to do anything about it. Then someone put a $290 on my account and didn't tell me. My bill is autopay so I didn't notice the credit and that they didn't charge my account for two months. Then they suddenly found the missing phone and charged back the credit I didn't know about and now say I owe them $377. I go in today and the kid that works there is cussing out someone on the phone and telling them to come to the store to fight him. "You know where I fucking work." I'm counting down the days until I can switch carriers and never, ever look back. The last almost three months have been the absolute worst customer experience I've ever had. I had a terribly awful experience with Verizon where I was not only unknowingly signed up for a second line without my consent at a Verizon authorized retailer but also because the phone I ordered for pickup was the wrong phone and the exchange wasn't processed correctly by another employee I had been paying for two phones and two lines the last few months..... This was an aggravating experience and I was ready to leave Verizon completely but BRANDON listened to my concerns, dug deeper to uncover every issue I wasn't aware about and made sure to take the time however long to make sure I was getting credited in every way possible. I felt totally taken care of and heard and I truly believe if it wasn't Brandon who I had been paired with for assistance today I would not have had the same outcome. He helping me apply promotions to my account I wasn't even aware of so I pay the best possible monthly bill going forward. Don't expect professional and curtious help from this location. They are human robots that can't function outside their programming. You are going to waste so much time every time you have to visit the store for returns, troubleshooting, questions, purchases, and soforth. When you buy their phones, you are going to walk out with a new 3 year contract if you want to save on the cost of the phone. You will also be charged a restocking fee for any new defective phone that you choose to return during the first 30 days. When you do the numbers, you are going to realize that it's all a marketing tactic in which you are not saving anything. You are way better off buying your phone and supplies through other channels such as Bestbuy, where you can purchase items on sale without any marketing scams or a long-term contract. read more

Horrible experience. I got a new phone with this Verizon store in August of this year, so literally 3 months ago. When I purchased my phone I purchased a screen protector as well. I was told that if the screen breaks I had a warranty on it and could come in and get it replaced for free. I brought my phone in today because my screen shattered and I was turned away. Wow! My husband's 2022 Samsung phone was having volume problems. The sound would cut out, so we brought it in here, and Jose helped us. He was magnificent! George and Gerber were some of the best customer service people I have ever come in contact with. *First off, this all took place last year, March and June as I recall. Gerber was a manager who stayed late to make sure I got my new phone back on track and I wouldn't have to go the weekend without a phone. It was SPECTACULAR!!!! Verizon needs to give that man a raise and more paid time off!!! He deserves it. George, on the other hand, was a technical genius. (George worked at the Seal Beach store as I recall.) I even called Verizon customer service on the phone and they were telling me they needed to talk to the associates and the associate told me she couldn't do anything and would not speak with the customer service rep on the phone. He was shocked hearing this as he was on speaker phone. The in store people charged me a new line, added perks I did not ask for, and all I went in for was an even exchange on a watch that's battery was defective. This is my go-to Verizon store. I want to give a special shout out to Naomi. She is amazing. She went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. I recently lost my husband and I came in to return his cell phone and transfer his iPad to my name. Naomi looked at my account and updated it to include iCloud storage, Apple TV and Apple Music amenities plus lowered my bill! She was able to get me $40 credit because I was being charged for cellular on the iPad but the cellular wasn't turned on! She made a suggestion to register to ZAGG to replace the screen protector which was scratched and offered to replace the new one for free. She helped me sync all my devices and was so kind, patient and professional at all times. I know there are other things she did and want to acknowledge her outstanding customer service.
