    Boost Juice

I love South Block, and consider myself to be a loyal, regularly returning customer. It's a bit pricy, but I've almost always felt the cost was justified. I'd consider it to be a "treat-yourself" kind of place. Today I tried the Boost Juice for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was!

Amazing the açaí bowl was delicious and I loved it worth every cent and will be coming back again

South Block is a great acai place in Arlington. I had the Nutella bowl made gluten free. I do wish the acai was a little sweeter but it was good.

Super green smoothie and warrior bowl

My friend insisted on getting an acai bowl out of nowhere even though she's never had one before. There's smoothie places around the area, but not all of them have acai. So we stumbled into South Block. My friend got the warrior bowl. It was a bit too sweet in my opinion. I got the super green smoothie. I'm surprised the kiosk had almond milk as a potential substitute for pineapple juice. I never thought of them as alternatives to each other. I didn't want my smoothie to be too sweet and I wanted the protein and fat in it. I think the end result was a bit weird when you mix kale and spinach with almond milk, but it wasn't weird in an unpleasant way. I was also surprised to see the kiosk offer ginger as an optional add on for this smoothie. Again, it's something I wouldn't have thought of requesting myself. I've always been told it's good to add ginger to raw foods to reduce the "coldness", so I clicked yes here. I don't think I taste the ginger in the smoothie, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it's in there. I appreciate how they have chia seeds and honey for you to add on the side. They fill up the bowl/cup up to the rim for everyone, so not sure how people are expected to have space to add things lol (that's a good trait).

Second time here. First time I got a kids strawberry banana smoothie. That was pretty good. This time around I got a detox juice and a recovery shot. I'm a sucker for those shooters. You can order ahead of time and they keep it in the fridge for grab and go. Overall a great place and quick service.

Service- took over 10 mins for an order so don't come here if you are in a rush like me to catch my flight. I came to this location because it is near the airport, however, parking is a bit difficult unless you want to pay a hefty price. However, the delicious bowl was worth the wait and I'm glad I waited to get it! They make each bowl fresh and you can customize or add as many toppings as you want! Although the indoor area was a bit small, the outdoor area was pleasant to chill and eat my tasty bowl!! I'll be back next time I'm in the area to try the other fruit bases/bowls!

First time trying South Block and it was yummy!! Everything on the menu looked great. I had the Green Bowl and added pineapple, agave and raw honey. Perfect for a sweet treat break after a summer weather stroll in the city The wait wasn't too bad either! I enjoyed that there was plenty of seating; perfect for catching up with a friend!

I can't even gather the words to write this review for what I just put these ladies through I had a hard time ordering and they were so sweet, patient, and kind the entire time! Her name was Minja and even while training someone she did awesome. Customer service is top tier I will definitely be back and be better about ordering next time.

I went to South Block for the first time for lunch last week, and was pleasantly surprised by the Magic Dragon Bowl! I'll be honest- I didn't expect to be full for the rest of the day, but I was. Not to mention the flavors were amazing and it was beautiful to look at! It's a bit pricy, but worth it. I cannot wait to return.

Açaí bowls are my absolutely favorite!!!! I grew up eating it in Brazil, and missed it so much after I moved to the United States, because I couldn't find it anywhere... I was so freaking excited when I heard about South Block! As soon as I heard, they had Açaí bowls I ran to grab one and oh my God it did not disappoint, it is different from the one you get in Brazil but I love it, the aqua bowl is my favorite with the coconut shred, strawberries, blueberries and granola on top, my favorite blend is either coconut water or almond milk. I could have one every single day and not get tired of it so glad this place exist! Delicious and nutritious!!

Well hello there... I'm delighted to write this review of Tupelo Honey…read more Let me first start off by saying I was fortunate enough to attend the opening of the original one in Asheville, NC then I went to the opening of second one in my hometown of Greenville, SC. I must say Tupelo Honey Is such a beautifully crafted place that pulls you out of the everyday hustle and bustle and places you within the southern comfort and warmth that oozes through the ambiance with smiles when they great you. It's natural unforced southern hospitality from A-Z. Also of note If you're able to please ask for the (Chef's Table) and thank me later! Now to the food I started off with the famous fried green tomatoes as an appetizer then I ordered a fresh squeezed pineapple juice that was just delicious after that the amazing shrimp and grits that's so delightful and the creole sauce is blended to perfection. Here's a little food hack for ya, add pieces of your fried green tomatoes into your shrimp and grits I promise you won't regret it!! for dessert you absolutely have to try the strawberry butter pecan cheesecake!! Whaaaaaat?? Yes... you read that correctly.. so just take my word for it and trust me"The Butler Brand Review" I will always remain true.. Hats off to you Tupelo Honey of Arlington, VA it's awesome to know that the classic signature of your brand remains the same no matter the location!!! PARKING: Tupelo Honey has several parking garages nearby. -- Tupelo Honey can be a very busy place so reservations are a must depending on the day. The layout has a very nice homey and country vibe that seems pretty that seems very comforting. The service definitely matched the vibe because both times we had a very friendly and engaging server. I love a good chicken and waffles so I was eager to try them out. I got to try the regular classic, peach ,and sample the Mac and cheese waffle. They were decent and I enjoyed what I had but it didn't move me to chorus. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. The biscuits for a cause were incredible. Hands down my favorite. Warm, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the jam and butter. The roasted half bird dish was a item on the special menu. They had a special on mimosas and had a few different dishes that weren't on the regular menu. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The green beans were nice and savory. Though the Mac and cheese left a bit to be desired. They complemented the dish but the green beans were definitely the standout. All in all, I'm not disappointed that I went but I can't say that I would return on my own accord. It's a very popular restaurant but I found the food to be a bit mid unfortunately.

When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.

That thoughtfulness is one of the many reasons I was excited to try it. When we arrived, I was initially concerned after learning that the "G" on the menu indicated dishes **containing** gluten rather than being gluten-free. Since many menu items were marked with a "G," I worried my options would be very limited, especially for the unlimited brunch experience. Thankfully, our server, Emma, immediately put me at ease. She brought me the food allergy menu, answered my questions with patience, and made sure I understood what was safe for me to enjoy. While my husband and I were deciding whether to stay, the manager, Antonio, came to our table after Emma shared my dietary concerns. His kindness completely changed the experience. He took the time to explain my options, offered to have the kitchen modify several dishes, and reassured me that their goal was for me to feel safe and enjoy my meal. Thanks to Emma and Antonio, what started with uncertainty became one of the most enjoyable brunch experiences I've had. I was able to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, the mimosas were a great value, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. What I'll remember most, though, is how genuinely cared for I felt. Before we left, Antonio stopped by one last time to make sure I was happy with my meal and that all of my needs had been met.
