It just is so cute and quaint and pops out in the Luray downtown skyline. My bf and I have been going here for years. It was so sad when the owner passed, it closed for a while and the town was simply not the same. Since it's reopened, we have continued to support! We saw the woman king here this weekend- the theater is rarely full but just gives us a whole showing to ourselves and maybe some stragglers. The decor is out dated but it just has an ambiance I can't describe. I love it here. Unsure who owns it now, if it stayed in the family? But regardless the experience is unbeatable. You MUST experience it, at least once. The popcorn isn't the best- in fact it's quite salty. But it combines with my coke so well!!! The vast options for snacks is unbeatable- where else can you get a toblerone bar, trolli sour worms, coke, and a popcorn!!?! The seat were worn with time, covered in laughter, tears, screams and hoorays! They were comfortable. The price for a ticket definitely reasonable, especially with a Military discount (thank you) the popcorn tasted fresh and not like it was heated under a lamp for a day or two. The staff were friendly and professional. Plus they play this old timey commercial about themselves which is cute. It is also located on Main Street so you have great places to eat before and or after as well as grab a drink from Mead, a beer, or signature cocktail.

You cant get a refund on the app with a GC. I called and got a HUMAN on the phone (how many businesses do that now a days). They switched our tickets to another day in a matter of minutes. One complaint I do have, please allow people to store their GCs on their app, it is very cumbersome to find the email or the print out and put in the....I think 13 or 16 numbers every time. We asked if we could use them for that day. They told us yes, but the theaters were packed, so we were okay with separate seating. Then they were going to charge us for another ticket. There were three of us. I asked them to refund our money for the tickets, but was told, "Oh, we can't do that. I'll give you two passes instead of three." So, your policy states that you only give refunds up to minutes before the movie. If somebody didn't see the movie, you can tell by the pass on the computer that it wasn't used. Why can't you give them a full refund or give them three passes to see a movie another day? It doesn't make sense to me. I would like my third pass, or I'd like all my money returned. Would like upper management to get a hold of me greatly appreciate it thank you
