Surgeon Kaura did an excellent job on explaining the procedure and the rest of the Trama team. Especially RNs Angela ,Cami, Camilla, Anna Amberley, Bailey ,Natalie, Shanice, Angie, Haley . PSA Tim, Mayrin from Trama on the 5th floor are the definition of providing exceptional care. They made me feel at ease and comfortable. Especially during the wound changes Answered any of my questions. They were great! Surprised how good the food was and the selection. The mac and cheese was delicious and build your own hamburger as well. I was also able to order snacks between the meals (pizza!). Antonio from nutrition was very helpful The only ding is one of the chefs adds too much lemon seasoning to the green beans and the broccoli.

They obviously have no idea what is happening at any point of the day it's so sad. They checked on him every once in a while which was fine but they still pissed me off because nobody communicated what was happening ever because they genuinely didn't know what was happening. I was also cornered against a wall by a crack head and only got away because of a cop that walked up and then drive me to my car. That place is also gross asf.

I'm here getting my foot treated because I stepped on a nail in my yard. I bought my house a week ago so I had no idea what all is my yard, my fence has a hole in it that my Aussie is entirely too aware of-- he dodged me, and the nail filled plank that I totally stepped on and the rest is history! For all the bad rep Mt Carmel West gets, the staff here have all been alright by me. I just got a text that the antibiotics the doc prescribed for my foot are ready and I haven't even been discharged yet. That's exceptional. I've literally only been here an hour. The xray technician came to me in my room as opposed to me waiting to be dragged off to a lab, which I'm stoked about too! Fast results. I'd come back if I have to; hopefully, I won't .

Brittany who is currently there working is another one with an attitude they refuse to give information I've worked in the health care field for 20 plus years I know what HIPAA is about I also know when somebody gives their verbal consent you're allowed to talk to their significant other do not go to Mount Carmel for anything. You'll go in with an ingrown toenail and come out in a body bag.

The building itself was built in 1874 as the Ohio Asylum for the Blind and is on the National Register of Historic Places. I believe it is the only building in the Near East Side (on the East Side of Parsons Ave) to have the downtown zip code of 43215 (all others are 43205). It is a massive, beautiful building and you will find plenty of parking in the back lot. Noting that the lower level garage parking is employee only and not public parking. This is a great location for immunizations. I was here this visit for my second COVID booster. I received all four COVID shots now from CPH and it was a good experience each visit! Columbus Public Health houses various departments, programs, and clinics. They not only have their Immunizations Program but also Sexual Health, Women's Health and Family Planning, a Dental Clinic, TB, a Physicians Free Clinic, and WIC. They also have an affordable Car Seat Program that offers booster and car seats at a reduced cost to families in need. It's a big old building that used to be the school for the blind. Now it houses all sorts of public health departments. Looks like they have dental clinics, substance abuse programs, childhood immunizations, sexual issue clinic, and more. They're doing vaccines here currently, of course, though not testing (at least at the moment.) You can pick up boxes of rapid Covid tests for free, though (this was right before Thanksgiving, and you could get two boxes per household, totalling 12 tests.) Every staff member was professional and pleasant. The place is laid out well, and is super clean. I waited five minutes or so before being called back. Then you wait in the auditorium for 15 minutes after the shot, of course, just in case you have a reaction. Plenty of parking in back, and looks like a parking garage underneath as well.
