What an amazing experience for car buying which I thought I'd never say. They gave me a price I was looking for after doing my research and I was in and out of the dealership in about 3-4 hours. No number games, everything exactly as agreed upon. LeeAnn was fabulous and so friendly and easy going. It truly was a good experience and I highly recommend them.

These salespeople and their so-called sales manager are shady as any used car dealer on Route 51 with a tiny trailer for an office - and maybe more so because at least one would expect rip-off artists in the tiny trailer. If you can think of practically any trite and hackneyed car sales tactic that could be used, they tried it. Frankly, I was surprised that the dude didn't haul out a four square (look it up). Insincere. Shady. Manipulative. Shysters. Stay away. I'm not from San Fran, but Google thinks I am.

They finally came back with a deal he liked, but wanted to think it over. Filled out credit and had the price, payment, and interest rate. Not long after, he called and said he would take it and made plans to get it the next day after 5 pm. The next day, he got a call from them saying they couldn't sell it to him because they didn't have the title. They adertise a car for sale and DON'T know they don't have the title! I called to talk to a manager , and he was very unprofessional and stating that "because I know so much about the car business, which I answered you have no clue as to what experience I have". I checked their website earlier, and the car was removed . After our conversation, I checked back and they had it listed for sale. HOW do you advertise a car that you just said you couldn't sell. At the very least, they could try to remove the hit his credit took for a deal they couldn't do or try to offer him another deal for their mistake.

What I wish I had know then was how little the dealership or "corporate" cares about their customers. This past January, I brought my car to my local Autobody (VW dealership is too far for me) for my yearly inspection. The Autobody called me immediately and told me that my brakes did not pass inspection. They found this odd since my car had less than 20k miles and was just 2 years old. They called the dealership for me to order new brakes and while on the phone, somehow it luckily came up in conversation and the VW employee told them that this specific model had an extended 2 year warranty BECAUSE OF THIS EXACT ISSUE WITH THE BRAKES! He informed my Autobody to have me schedule an appointment with the dealership ASAP in order for me to get this covered. I immediately called the dealership to schedule. A friendly woman answered. I explained the entire situation, gave my name, car model, etc, and I specifically asked "i want to confirm this is covered under the warranty before I bring it out there?" She answered "correct" and said "you're all set." I drove my car out to the dealership to drop it off. When I checked in, I again said "I just want to confirm that is covered under the extended warranty" because it still felt too good to be true. The employee said "yep. 2 years or 24k miles. Let me just make sure." He then gave me the insane news- "you missed the deadline by 2 days." I couldn't believe it. I said "what do you mean?" He said "you are 2 days over 2 years since you bought your car." I then asked "why was I never notified about the issue with the brakes? I would have brought my car in immediately." And his response was "we don't have to notify you, it wasn't a recall. It was just a warranty extension" to which I responded "because you knew the brakes were bad and had issues," and he responded "well yeah." 2 days passed my 2 year mark. Significantly under 24k miles and my brakes were shot. VW offered to do NOTHING. They showed no sympathy. They had incredibly poor communication, and perhaps the first two employees just didn't even listen or actually check my file to see if it would be covered before I took it out there. Three different employees giving three different responses with the wrong information. I wasted half of my afternoon driving out there for nothing, having to reschedule work meetings and coordinate a ride home, all for nothing. The manager then just continued to blame "corporate." He said if they fixed my brakes under the warranty two days late, they'd have to eat the cost. "Corporate" would not allow it. I'd assume if I was a family member or a friend, or perhaps someone who buys more expensive cars from them, maybe he'd think differently. He just continued to say it was "corporate" who was at fault and "corporate" who would never make an exception because of money. He reiterated the fact that they'd lose money if they helped me and that corporate would make them "eat the costs," so very clear that money is their main priority. Not their customers, not the quality of their product. I have never left a review for anything before. And I'm fully aware there are rules and that my car was indeed 2 days past qualifying for the warranty. My purpose in writing this is to let anyone considering buying a VW know that once you give them your money, they don't care about your safety or well being. The fact that they were aware of brake issues in this model, yet they didn't notify their customers??? The fact that 2 employees told me I was "good to go" and would be covered, and a third employee defended VW by saying "we don't have to notify you." And "well yeah" when I said "but VW was aware of faulty brakes," is really concerning to me. If I could do it again, I would look elsewhere. I would look for a dealership that is honest, and truly cares enough about their product's reputation and their customers safety.

I took my car to my regular mechanic for an oil change and asked them to take a look at the brakes, it turns out the rear brake was completely seized up and not working at all. They replaced everything and the car stops so much better. The Toyota dealer should not have passed these brakes. This Toyota Repair division is just pathetic, they gloss over everything and don't actually do the work. The silver lining is they didn't do the brake job- because I wouldn't have trusted them to do it right! Do yourself a favor, don't trust them. Find an independent shop that needs to do good work so that you keep coming back. Every single time I've brought my Toyota in, they've done shoddy work that took even more of my time to bring it back so they could fix it, or I had to bring it somewhere else to have it done correctly. Worst mechanics ever. Or maybe they just really don't care.

They charge an outrageous amount for a hold on the ev charger off your card which is $50 but then the machine don't work the first 3 times and it still takes $50 kevery time you swipe that card oh and it won't be back on for 48hrs. This place is a ripoff, any other chargers take maybe $25 and they put it right back if it isn't that much to charge. They don't hold it for days and days. And to take a $50 hold every time it's swiped because the machine is messed up is just wrong. If it wasn't charging why did they take $150 and I get told oh it will take 24-48hrs to go back on and that's wrong because it took over a week last time this happened and the reason I haven't been back till now. This place sucks, I won't be using these ever again and I sure as heck wouldn't buy a car here if this is the kind of carp they pull with people just using the ev chargers. I guess I won't be buying food the next 24-48hrs because Washington ford is holding $150 of mine for a charge that cost $14. I will be calling the bank and seeing if this would be fraud charges because that is just insane. If you need an EV charger don't bother giving them a dime there is ones right up the road at Hyundai that don't even take a hold off your card let alone have it mess up so they can take $150 and keep it collecting interest for days and days and days. Imagine how much they'd rip you off if you bought a car here.

I had my F150 towed there overnight for an engine cooling system problem. I read the trouble codes…read morewith my scanner right before the tow truck took it. When Washington Ford's service department called me the next morning for details, I told them that it was having a problem with the engine cooling system and asked them to look into replacing the "Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor" (CHT), a 20 min job max. After they took an hour to diagnose the problem in the afternoon (at $115/hr), Andrea Baumgardner from the service dept called to let me know that I needed to have "the engine coolant temp sensor, knock sensor, and various one time use parts (gaskets)" changed. She then told me something along the lines of how the truck was running rough and they expected to find some more issues after the repair.. I asked her how the tech came to this conclusion vs the CHT sensor I hade mentioned earlier and she offered up "Not to be a smart a**, but they are the professionals." The initial total price quoted for these repairs was approximately $1,475.00. I'm not sure if that price included the initial $115 diagnostic fee or not. One of the attached pictures shows their "diagnosis" and their quoted prices for repairs. After some time to think it over, I declined any repairs and had the truck towed back to my house. Now, I don't claim to be a professional auto mechanic by any means, but I am a pretty accomplished professional in an electrical maintenance field. Within an hour, I had proven that it was the CHT sensor that I had previously thought using nothing more than a volt-ohm meter and a laptop. One of the attached pictures shows a screen cap of a basic graph showing the CHT sensor on the top 3 lines and the coolant temp sensor on the bottom 3 lines. The picture should speak for itself. After getting a new sensor and changing it out in under 15 minutes, my truck runs perfectly normal. I spent around $160 total which includes 2 towing services and the sensor but does not include their $115 "diagnostic" fee. After some time to reflect, I can't decide whether the service department members I dealt with were either incompetent or trying to commit malicious fraud to steal more money out of my pocket for a relatively minor repair. I do know that the $115 diagnostic fee was money well spent to learn that I could not trust this service department with my vehicle or my wallet. I took the time to write this out so that you could consider finding a mechanic elsewhere that you can trust.
