She is phenomenal in her job and a beautiful person.. I will only go there for any treatment on my teeth. I now am spending $4,000 out of pocket to fix the two that have cavities under the re-sculpted tooth. ---- I have had my extensive dental work done here before, and they used to take my insurance. They do not take all forms of Delta Dental. I am pretty sure my dental work I have had done is failing and for many years I could not eat on that side of my mouth, and I was told "everything looks fine" I noticed some more issues so I wanted to book to see if they could correct the work that they did- and I understood that they did not accept my insurance. I was quoted on the phone for $75. Keep this in mind. I was called yesterday to come at 2pm, instead of 3pm. Fine, okay- I have to explain to my job that now I have to make changes to my availability. Today is my appointment and I kept getting texts to come early and respond to a text letting them know I am here. Doors did not open because they are on lunch. There is no sign, so my self and other clients are waiting. After I make it inside, I was told that I had a plan, which was news to me. They told me now I owed $295. I stated that I was quoted $75 on the phone. The girl at the office apologized and took accountability for misquoting me. But I don't find this acceptable. I would rather be told about the X-ray price before coming in. Full transparency of costs upfront. I rather find a new dentist, who won't pull this stunt on me and actually takes my insurance. So please, do yourself a favor. Save your money and time, and go somewhere else. I'm glad I wasted my gas money, time, and missing a decent chunk of my workday for a disappointment. Now I have to explain to another dentist my history and what the ever living hell did they do to my tooth.

Instant panic at the bill…read more I walked into Sand Mine with dread as I had the same issue last year at a different dentist office and they wanted $7500-$10,000 to remove the bridge, give me a root canal and leave me toothless for 6 weeks for the new bridge. I opted for the antibiotic, the pain went away and I dodged a bullet. But now the infection/absess was back. Dr. Nirh came in with a big smile, talked calmly, showed me my x-rays and exactly what was going on. Basically, the infection lays dormant and will continue to return if not treated properly. Simply, I need a root canal which can be performed through the bridge with a small hole. Not ripping/sawing/breaking the bridge off as I was told at the other dentist office. I do have to have this part done with a specialist right down the street next week, but what a relief! I was prescriped Ibuprofen and Amoxicillian and today feel some pain relief. My cost yesterday: $0 for the xrays (covered by insuarnce) and my co-pay for the refilling of the "hole" after the procedure will be $145. I'm not sure what the root canal will cost, but I'm sure not $10,000. The staff were great, Dr Nirh was calming and layed back and I would highly recommmend this dental office! I am 62 years old. We located this office, which is super close to us and despite not having many reviews on Yelp, had tons of positive reviews on google. We decided to give it a shot and wow I am highly impressed. I went in for a standard cleaning, did not have any teeth pain, but now need to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was referred to a different office for that. For the cleaning though, it was fine. Everyone from the office staff, the hygienist, to the doctor, was actually amazing. They were kind, caring, informative and really great. My wife's fear was not resolved, she is still terrified, but everyone took time to try and calm her and did not make her feel bad for being afraid. I really cannot say enough about Dr. Hunter. She is absolutely amazing. I have not been to a ton of dentists personally. I did not grow up going every 6 months as we should, but I am very happy that I have found a really wonderful practice. I cannot recommend this location enough. In our area of Winter Garden, there are a zillion dentists and I think we chose correctly. They personalize your visit, your room has a whit board with your name and any concerns. They did x-rays as it was my first visit and wrote any issues on the board as well. They offer noise canceling headphones, blankets, TVs and music to help ease any fears. The office is also very clean. It looks immaculate and feels clean. This is huge in my book, since it is a doctor's office and we are dealing with teeth. There is music already playing throughout the office, I think to take away from the sounds of the equipment. Their rooms do not have doors, which was a little weird, but you cannot see or hear anything happening next to you. They also all wear earpieces, so if something is needed, it is easy to get. I beleive they take most insurances. Prices are high but it's not their fault dental insurance is a total joke! I know how important it is for gum and teeth health and I am very happy we found one we actually like. I will highly recommend coming here. This is a newer location located in Winter Garden; we chose them after wanting to get back into our dental cleanings. I found a different dentist, which had great reviews, but they were not accepting any offers. I remember seeing this practice since it is in the same shopping center as our Publix. I read reviews online and they were all very positive apart from the two other reviews here. After visiting twice now, I think these two reviews are highly inaccurate. My husband and I have both been here now. I initially went due to some tooth pain. I was absolutely terrified. The front office staff, the team in the back and Dr. Hunter were amazingly wonderful. They truly cared for my concerns, they listened to me, and helped make me as calm as I could be. I was still extremely on high alert and anxious, but I would still recommend this practice. I ended up needing a couple of crowns. I had one put on the same day and have been back to get the permanent placed and then the other temporary put on. Everyone the entire time, took their time, worked at my speed, paused when I needed it and were so polite. They truly make a welcoming environment. They had boards in each room with your name, allergies, comments (fear) and so much more. It was personalized. They remembered me so I didn't have to restate my fears. Everyone explained everything I asked. They offered noise canceling headphones, blankets, TVs or music to assist you as well. Their office is extremely clean, it is a new practice, but it feels like it opened yesterday. I think that is a true testament of how they work, how clean does it feel inside. They do play music so you can hear it throughout. There are many rooms but none of them have doors. Even with no doors, you cannot hear what is happening. I also enjoy that they use headphones and radios, so if something is needed, they just call for it. Other places I have been, they leave you there to go and grab what is needed. They take most insurances I believe. As much as I absolutely despise the dentist, I know it is important. I truly think we have found our dentist and can continue with them. He and his staff were excellent in every aspect of my son's care. They made time to see him the same day and were very caring and wonderful to us. Dr. Castellini ended up doing an exam one day, and then fillings to cover root canals and provide some temporary teeth until we could get home and get permanent crowns. He did an awesome job! Our local dentist in CA was very impressed with the work that was done to patch my son up. I would highly recommend this dental office!
