These guys were amazing. I tried everywhere to get a car and had a tricky credit situation. No one could help. South Philly Auto helped me right away! They were informative and explained the whole process along the way. I drove away in a beautiful Kia Optima that day with a reasonable down payment and reasonable monthly payments! They even helped me when I had an issue and directed me to the mechanic to get it fixed at no charge even though I had just gone over warranty! These gentlemen know how to take care of customers. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! I wish I would of read the reviews on google site not just on there own personal site...i should of known it was a scam from day 1, I live in Delaware but traveled to south Philly auto because they told me I HAD FINANCIAL APPROVAL, I gave STEVE ( salesman) my information over the phone and he STATED I got APPROVAL from a bank THEY finance through right away! So I went up there signed all the paperwork (which I felt like they rushed me through now I know why) and they sent me on my merry way. A WEEK later I got a call from the "financing company" who told me all they faxed over was my name and phone number! So I was very confused on how they let me walk away with a car but didn't have the final approval from the bank!? Weird right..never got a real answer from Steve as to how I was approved If the bank didn't even have my information.. well then another week goes by so I now have had the car for 2 weeks and I get a TEXT from Steve asking me if I got a bank loan for the car yet! I'm sorry what!?! So immediately called him, he said the bank they were going through denied me for the loan so I needed to bring the car back! So then I asked to speak to there manager which of course wasn't in at the time, STEVE called me a fucking bitch and put me on hold, which I was then transferred to the junk ball lady that sits in the back of the trailer, she told me I wasn't approved because my check stubs were fake! Lmao really lady give me the banks number and I'll call them myself because you just sound like a bullshitter. But she told me She wasn't ALOUD to give me the name or number of the bank I so called denied through, as if I couldn't just go find the paperwork and look, which I did.. when I called the bank they told me they have NO denial NO information and I would of gotten a formal letter in the mail if I was Denied!! So after calling them on there bullshit they told me to bring the car back! Hmmm I think not! I had given STEVE 1200 down on that car and from what I read on ALL the bad reviews on here is they try and leave you helpless thinking no bank will approve you and you have to bring the car back because 9/10 no one has the money to just go write out a 10,000 plus dollar check so you have no choice but to give them the car back luckily I got a personal loan, drove all the way back up there and told them to give me the title and I'll give you your money! Finally, When I took the title and bill of sale to the dmv the dmv even told me after looking at the bill of sale I got Scammed for my money because not only did they try to keep my down payment and leave me without a car they charged me for all the title work as if they did it in there in there office, the dmv told me to call the BBB which I plan on doing as soon as I'm done putting a bad review on every single website that associates with these SCAMMERS !!! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased a truck from them and there were nothing but issues. Like other posts there was an issue with my registration that caused me to get a ticket. There were serious issues with the drivetrain and they told me to use the "warranty". After several visits to a factory dealership over $ 7000.00 dollars and the "warranty" covered $ 1500.00. I ended up having to trade-in the truck at a huge loss in less than two years because it couldn't be repaired un their "warranty". Not good at all. My husband got a truck there put money down and got approved for a loan through a bankSouth Philly auto used. My husband did all paperwork work. Leaves with the truck 3 weeks later we get a letter from the bank saying the close the account! Remind you we made our first payment with them! We call Steve no answer (like always!) we call the Bank n my husband put Steve on three way! The bank told my husband it's because they have title issues! 2weeks we get paperwork work in the mail from the same bank for truck payments n more money for payment. We call the bank n ask why is the payments so high? They told him the interest rate was 29%. The bank ask us if we had paperwork in front of us n they will over with us. We say we only have the first set. They say yall don't have the new set? No we don't my husband say I never sign the second set of paperwork! My husband got in the truck n went right to see Steve. So Steve say don't worry just do pay here buy here. For two months we was giving 500.00 month. They Steve calls my husband n says u need to pay like 500.00 a week my husband was like who in there right mind can pay 2,000 a month for a car he told my husband it's because there no interest for u. Well my husband say that's ur problem not mind u fuck up the loan not me. My husband went there made payments for every 2 weeks. They will call u need to make a payment or they took out two payments in one week. It's been 8 months n still no registration for his vehicle. He calls Steve ( like always no answer!).
