The sandwiches we got, were called cheese steaks (the works), but that is not actually what they were. Very little cheese, the meat was mostly tiny pieces, more like steak crumbles or Hamburger than steak. The meat looked and tasted like it came frozen, in bulk. The veggies were in there, but overcooked and flavourless. I added a ton of Valentina to give it some flavor. My third and final visit to this establishment was a couple of weekends ago. I will not return to a business that employs people who do not care about providing basic customer service. In addition, my last order was so unappetizing! All that I've received at this place was poor attitude from the cashier, an unpleasant and snarky young man, who was quick to annoyingly bark orders at the kitchen staff and was incapable of mustering up an ounce of professionalism with customers. Major turn-off. Then came the food, or half of it, rather. The second half of my "to go" order came about 10 minutes later and consisted of soggy fries. Bought a Groupon for 11.00 for two 10.00 credits. Can't bring my self to use the 2nd 10.00. First time there customer service was rough to say the least, took food to go and it was average at best. 2nd and most recent time I had food delivered and the sandwich was wrong size and type and the meat was burned beyond recognition and had no cheese. Fries weren't edible. I assume they had been sitting out for for hours. Groupon wasn't available for delivery so I'm just going to have to eat that 1.00. Rude, lazy people and only half-way decent food. Our encounter tonight: Called at 8:35pm to order delivery. Their flyer says that they are open until 9pm. The girl who answered the phone said that they stopped delivery. We asked her why, she paused and she said, "Okay, have a nice night!" We told her that it was rude not to respond and that we'd like to speak to the manager. She did not apologize and handed over the phone. The manager, Richard, said that they stop delivery early so that they can clean and be out the door by 9pm. We told him that that is not how restaurants normally operate. He said, "Well, we do." And he hung up on us. It's laziness like this that drives customers away and puts restaurants out of business. For all they know, we could've ordered enough to double their profits for the night! I doubt the owners know that this is how their employees are operating their business. It's a shame that we were treated this way. We've been customers for a while and the food is okay normally (although nothing like what you can get in Philly). We'll be in contact with the owners soon. Even though I live in Thornton, I will be making the trip down 120th to Sheridan next time I want a Cheesesteak. The best part about this food was the free fountain drink refills and it's close to the new Yogurt store a few doors down. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere when you are hungry. This place is a joke. I attempted to order delivery and made an initial call to see when they would close. It was before 9pm and they closed at 9. We called back a few mins later after my group confirmed what they wanted. When we attempted to call back they said they no longer deliver. This was before 9. Today was our 2nd attempt. We called to reassure when they would stop delivery at 8 pm. They stated they stop delivery at 830 now. Once again we called back a few mins later @ 820 to place our order. My husband and I have made it a hobby of sorts to visit various cheese steak places around town. We've been to 10 or so, and this is the worst of them all. As my husband said it, the cheese steak itself wasn't BAD, but it's pretty hard to screw them up. Not so easy to do it well. While they do have the traditional Amoroso bread, that's about the only point they win with me. We each ordered philly's, and shared a basket of fries with Wiz, and a side salad. The fries were just bad. The big guy said good times cheesey fries are 10x better. The side salad was LITERALLY hogie toppings in a paper fry tray - shredded lettuce, sad pale tomato slices, and a handful of olives. And did i mention they brought me said "salad" without so much as a mention of dressing? And don't get me started on the "value" of this place. We started coming here a few years ago and it was delicious, we had been going to the Philly place of of 120 & Sheridan, like another Yelper mentioned but stated going here instead. I don't know what changed, but something did. The last two times (we went the second time, hoping the first bad experience was a fluke) we have been here it was awful! Greasy, over priced, and just flavorless. I always get the chicken cheese steak, it was huge chunks of chicken inside of the roll, it was as if they just threw chicken breasts on the grill and didn't bother going them up. This was literally one of the worst casual food dining experiences of my life. I will NEVER set foot near this place again not even as a Doordasher. I would decline the the delivery if I were a driver. I was in the mood for a sub style sandwich, but I didn't want the typical yet tasty Jimmie Johns ect. So, I said I will try this place. Big mistake! When I went to the counter to order, the man working was extremely rude towards me. I ordered just a sandwich which was 10.30. I gave him a tip still because I thought maybe this will brighten his day. NOPE. I sat down to wait and looked at the menu to see that I could actually get my sandwich cold not hot (menu said comes on toasted hogie). Then in little letters at the top it said you can request cold. So I got up to ask him if I could do cold instead as he had not started to make it yet. He thought I was being impatient and before I could even get a word out, he said " it's not ready yet, it's going to be a while." I said, "no problem I was just going to ask for cold instead." He huffed and puffed away as he preceded to say stuff under his breath. So I sit back down and as I am waiting, he brings out the two sandwiches of the gentlemen who ordered after me. At this point, I'm shocked at his behavior. He brings out my sandwich minutes later and says, "here you go, the inside is cold and the bread is toasted." I couldn't believe it. When you ask for a cold sub, that usually means nothing hot. I opened the sandwich and it was not on hoagie bread rather greasy (very greasy) white bread. I was obviously not going to eat it, so I left it on the counter and said give this to someone else. I left feeling discriminated against, hungry, spent 12 bucks with tip, and with no lunch. Their food used to be great but recently it's been so bad. Very chewy and not tender meat as well as very dry overall even tho I added cheese whiz!! Not substituted but added as in the regular American cheese PLUS cheese whiz. It was so dry that It seemed as tho there was barely any cheese at all, but you better believe they charged me for extra cheese whiz!! And like a dummy I even tipped (for take out) cuz they usually make it so good. Like many others if I could give it i 0 I would. My husband was insulted when he asked for something to be added to sub so it would not be so dry. He was told that he was not eating a real Philly Cheese steak if put something on it. Then we placed his sub order and my husband told him he had there Groupon and he said he would not allow it he only ordered one thing which there are no stipulations on the Groupon. I ordered two other items one which was a Chicken Parm and we joke to the guy about not vegetables because I am allergic. We received our food after about 10 minutes and went home to eat.
