I would have given more stars if it was only for my sandwich. My sandwich was okay but my wife's sandwich was horrible. After spending about $45 dollars on two sandwiches, one of which was a medium sandwich, this place is definitely not worth it. The only other thing we ordered was cheese sticks and they were just so so. What was wrong was that my wifes mushroom "cheese" steak had no cheese on it, was bone dry, had almost no mushrooms and the meat tasted like it was a week old. I verified this by tasting hers. The bread definitely was not fresh. My sandwich was different, it was not bone dry but the meat tasted off and again there was no cheese on my cheese steak. That would be okay if we had asked for no cheese but we didn't. It would also be different if they had told us they were out of cheese but they gave them as if they had it. The cheese sticks on the other hand, if they had told me they bought the cheapest frozen cheese sticks (walmart generic brand) and passed them off I would believe them. As for Ambiance, typical fast food privately owned atmosphere except I spotted one pic that rubbed me the wrong way. The owner apparently was in the Marine Corps and proud of his service. Nothing wrong there and by the way thank you for your service. The picture that rubs me the wrong way is the one implying that the owner will use his Marine Corps "abilities" to kick out people he does not want in his business. I am not going to be someone who you would ever have to worry about but reading that sign turns me off to coming to your business, aside from the poor quality of food. Keep up your other pictures, the ones showing your patriotism and your service to this country. I approve of those completely. I would rethink how your veiled threat sign looks to customers. Not a good image. No one likes to think about an aggressive owner threatening violence up front. The Phillies are good, but those fried mushrooms are amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about the mushrooms. Lots of choices in how you want your Philly, with fresh ingredients galore. The side salads are great too, and I would say it's the perfect portion size to pair with your Philly, or 2, if you are a big eater like me. Some solid options for kids too. These are the best cheesesteaks in the Denver area hands down. I wouldn't even try anywhere else. The only other place I consider getting a cheesesteak from is Jersey mikes and that's just because I live around the corner from it. Service was great, staff is super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Bread was nice and soft. We ordered a large combo amd figured we could share since we upgraded to a large for $4 more. When we got our food I honestly thought they got the order wrong and didn't upgrade us to a large since the cheese steak was pretty small. Tots were nice and crunchy, but I would have preferred them to be hotter, same with the cheesesteak. Overall food was good/average, service was better, and I would go back if I am hungry out of convenience and if on my way home, but probably wouldn't go out of my way for it. Overall I thought the food was pretty good. There was only one person working (so working both the register and preparing the food in back) but there were signs stating "Now Hiring" for multiple positions so it looks like they addressing the complaints of many about slow service.
