    Bahn Mi Bowl Large (Copy)

I got a chicken banh mi plate and it was really tasty. I don't think I'd become a regular just because it isn't a "cheap" meal, but would definitely come back occasionally for a treat!

Bourbon chicken with Mac and zucchini

I was really excited when I saw this spot open up, and the menu sounded pretty appealing and simple which I like, but after two visits, I feel let down. I've tried - bourbon chicken with rice, mac & cheese and "veggies" which is just zucchini spears, the chicken was dark meat and very fatty, there was too much sauce getting all over the rest of the sides and the flavor was kind of bland too, the mac & cheese was kind of dry and plain, and the zucchini was fresh but probably could have been grilled a little more - jerk chicken with rice, macaroni salad, and zucchini spears, again the chicken was a bit fatty but the marinade was pretty tasty, the salad was solid, same deal with the zucchini The portions are pretty good for the prices, so you can save some leftovers for the next day if you wish. I'm all for supporting local businesses, and I'd stop by again if in the area, but it's not going to be a regular as I find the food to be so-so.

Urban chicken over rice with a side of potatoes and coleslaw.

I came here on a two Thursday evening to get dinner to go. The staff and Owner are very friendly and accommodating. The food portions and quality are fair for the price. I ordered the bourbon chicken with potatoes and coleslaw as my sides. The food took about five minutes to prepare. It was heaping out of the container. The potatoes were perfectly fried and had just the right amount of seasoning. The coleslaw was OK, but could use some alternative flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked and was well flavored served on a bed of white rice. The restaurant was clean and had seating for about 15 people. I will come back to enjoy other dishes.

Customer service, super great! The employees are incredibly kind and it felt welcoming/east to order. Reviews really hyped up this place and the menu is pretty interesting with all the different options. The food was fine, not my favorite. It felt like something I could easily make at home and nothing was mind blowing. I don't foresee myself craving food from here and don't think I would come back. But again, customer service is great! And it is small inside, but seems like a good place to grab a quick bite.

A new eatery hats off to them for having the mindset to say kiss my ___ Covid. They have a simple and straight forward menu which I hope to sample more of in the future. We ordered the Ruby and the Jed and both sandwiches were filled with generous ingredients. The place was clean but maybe little dark for midday. There is dining inside as well as a couple of tables outside also. Our sandwiches were ready in just a couple of minutes and handed to me with a smile and a thank you. Generous portions, fair pricing and delicious ingredients. I will be returning to try other items on the menu. Welcome to the area.

I came on a Wednesday afternoon and it was decently busy but nothing crazy. Awesome customer service, very friendly and answered all the questions I had. I love chicken strips and fries! So glad these fries weren't soggy and had the perfect amount of seasoning and crisp to it. I also love that they had great ranch and spicy aïoli sauces to dip the fries and chicken in. There are tons of options on the menu with lots of variety, something for everyone for sure.

This is the cutest little spot for a delicious lunch! I ordered the medium jerk chicken bowl with rice, veggies and Mac salad. It was very good! The medium size is a good portion and filling. They also have breakfast items. The shop is small but cute and colorful! The staff was very friendly! I will definitely return to try more bowls!

Small little hole in the wall spot. Just a couple of tables available inside due to size. Easy for a quick bite but nothing over the top impressive. Staff was courteous to your face, although could easily overhear vulgar conversation in the back as it is a very small shop (doesn't offend me much but I can see that being quite off putting to others and less than inviting). Bourbon chicken bowl had good flavor. Side potatoes are sliced in small rounds and some were ok but otherwise they were disappointingly soggy. The Cajun grilled zucchini were fantastic and I wish they would've offered a greater serving of this, and/ or more expansive veggie options. Also snagged the bourbon chicken tacos which were tasty but could be better with just a little less of the spicy aioli (unless you like a heavy mayo/ sauce), and if the tortillas were grilled to give it that extra upscale feel. Overall would stop here again if in need of a simple and quick option but nothing stood out beyond that for me, personally. (No pictures of the food itself since I had to take it to-go).

Ruby's is a must. Just outside of Denver, but definitely worth the trip. Everything from the quality of the food, the time to make it, and the service, this place is great. I highly recommend! Ps. The mac and cheese is the only thing I didn't fully enjoy.

We were up for trying something we haven't had before so we decided to try Ruby Ru's as it was one of the higher rated places that offered delivery through Yelp. We ordered the medium jerk chicken bowl with Mac salad and a large bourbon chicken bowl with Mac and cheese and veggies. Everything was a 12/10, great taste on everything. The only reason this is getting 4 instead of 5 stars is because I was partway through the jerk chicken veggies when I realized the Mac salad was completely missing from the container. Unfortunately, there's not much they can do when you order delivery through Yelp. We'll order again but we'll pick it up to double check our order before we leave the restaurant. Based on other reviews, I was really excited to try the Mac salad so I'll order again even if just for that.

    Large French fries with ranch

I have gotten food from Ruby Ru's before and it was one time prior. I had ordered the Banh Mi bowl last time and it was delicious. This time I ordered the street tacos and a side of french fries. The first taco I had was delicious and I love the sweetness of the pineapple inside of it. When I was diving into my second taco and started to chew, all the pieces of chicken were fatty and almost felt like pieces of a tendon. That instantly made me a little nauseous, and I'll be taking the other one home to my family, since I don't like wasting food. The French fries had lots of flavor and were a little salty which I didn't mind because I tend to like them as such. The ranch though, was extremely salty, and maybe I got an off batch of ranch but I was unable to eat the ranch with the fries. Everyone there is very nice and the service is wonderful, but I don't think I'll be returning, unless it's just for the Banh Mi bowl I had the time prior.

I completely don't remember what everyone ordered but I DO remember all the things I tried at the table. Tater Tots - parmesan & chives / house onion sour cream - nothing outstanding about this but the kids/teens/young adults LOVED it and may have inhaled it in one breath. Roasted Cauliflower - saffron cream / chermoula / sumac / miso aioli / crispy onion - the saffron cream was a nice touch of essence and the crispy onion brought a good sweetness and texture to the dish. Honey Bourbon Wings - fried chicken wings / honey bourbon glaze / dill pickles - this was FABULOUS, good fry, not burnt and the glaze was perfect, not ooey gooey sticky, just sticky to the touch. Wild Boar Bucatini - wild boar ragu / cured egg yolk / parmesan / chives - this was my dinner order. I'm always excited when there's bucatini on the menu. It just holds enough sauce in the hollows to satisfy me. The ragu was cooked well, good sauce maybe it needed just a little pinch more of salt for my liking. Parking in the neighborhood is not difficult. We had an airbnb down the street and walked here in less than 5 minutes. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well as a covered patio-ish area. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Lafayette!

It's actually quite easy to miss with Teocalli having way more business just one street down. It's got a lovely interior with lots of wood and a nice rooftop patio. Walking in, I wouldn't think much of it. The menu is relatively simple with some appetizers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches, and some other things. Where this place shines is their bacon, and by extension their sandwiches. Multiple people I've gone with have said the JGBLT is the best sandwich they've ever had. It's certainly up there for me, just behind panino I've had in Italy. It's nothing complicated, but each part of the sandwich is so well done that the finished product is understated and overwhelming. So good. It's also the perfect portion, every time. It doesn't seem to matter how hungry I am when I come in. They have an excellent beer list with lots of things to choose from. The whiskey menu is absolutely insane, and the whiskey flights are necessary to digest it. A small thing that is really nice- their sodas. It's not just coca cola or Pepsi products- they have craft sodas, which are really excellent. Additionally, you can get their non alcoholic cocktails for the same price as just a soda, which is lovely. The daily specials are always fantastic and a good way to get something unexpected. I will be extremely sad when I have to move from Lafayette, as this restaurant is one of my favorites in the world.

The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. A friend recommended Acreage, so after a long day in Boulder, hiking and walking around town, we stopped by on a Saturday evening. And honestly, it lived up to the hype and then some. The setting is what really makes this place special. It was busy with what felt like a true local crowd--families, kids, groups of friends--all hanging out. There's a huge outdoor area with picnic table-style seating, plus some indoor space, but the real star is the view. The mountain backdrop is unreal, and the sunset we caught that night was one of those "okay, we could live here" moments. They do take reservations, and I'd highly recommend making one if you're going on a weekend. We loved it so much that we've been back twice since, once while apartment hunting and again after we moved, when we brought family to show them one of the spots that sold us on Denver. For a cider-focused spot, the food seriously overdelivered. The soft pretzels are next level--three per order and perfect for sharing. Everyone gets their own and is happy. The roasted baby carrots were just okay and probably something I'd skip next time. The Jalapeño Caesar with added chicken is really solid, and the winter salad (also with chicken) was a huge portion and great if you want something a bit lighter/greener. The Lafayette cheesesteak sandwich, though, has been the standout for me--top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich and this one absolutely delivered. There are still a few things on the menu I'm looking forward to trying next time. And of course, the cider. I'm not a big beer guy and neither is my girlfriend, so this place is perfect if you're looking for an alternative. I'd definitely recommend doing a flight. They've got a wide range--from fruitier options like blueberry and apricot (crowd favorites) to drier ciders, which I tend to prefer. They also rotate some unique options--recently we tried a salted cucumber cider that was great and quite refreshing. My personal favorite is the Banjo series, which is aged in bourbon barrels. It has a subtle bourbon flavor that makes it super unique and really enjoyable. All in all, Acreage is more than just a cider spot--it's an experience. Between the views, the atmosphere, and the surprisingly great food and drinks, it's become one of our go-to places!
