I hope staffing or scheduling can be improved so donors don't have to wait so long even though they probably won't. No one checked on the donors, and the overall pace was very slow. I understand busy days happen, but improving efficiency would help reduce wait times, coming out to explain to the donors what's going on or even apologizing for the inconvenient wait time would be helpful, moving with a sense of urgency would be ideal ! 40 minute wait time is completely unacceptable and need to do better. Managers should take the initiative and lead by example of sticking donors or even help dissembling the machines to make the process faster instead of standing there doing nothing. The phlebotomists are friendly and professional. Mine did a great job prepping me and finding my vein; I did not end up with a big bruise or any discomfort afterwards. It only took around 8-10 minutes to complete the process of blood collection. After we finished our donation, they provided us with plenty of snacks and made sure to go over after care instructions.
