I didn't come here because I needed a uniform altered but because I ordered a harness for one of my dogs and it simply fit her too big, typically I would've just exchanged it for a different size but sadly we had the smallest size they offered. I called around to see if any tailors could help me out with this odd request and South Bay Uniform said sure. I went twice to get it adjusted and the service was great and so fast. 1000% unreliable. The woman gives you the go around and will not finish your uniform in a timely manner. Beware if you need your uniform tailored before a deadline. This woman told me my uniform would be completed in three days. Three days later, I came in and it was still uncompleted. She needed an additional day and I totally understood and gave her an extra day. On the day of the pickup, she was nowhere to be found and my uniform was still untouched. Love this place and will continue to come here for all my uniform needs. I had my sam browne shined here and even came in on a different day to have a few keepers shined in 20 mins before going to work. When I realized they also do alterations I had a new shirt tailored and it was better than the previous work I had done elsewhere so I brought in more uniforms to get tailored here. It's starting to get cold out so I brought in a jacket that needed new patches and they were able to sew them on in minutes. I was looking for a place that provided embroidery services. Of course went to Yelp and found Southbay Uniform. A couple of things caught my eye - it was a 5 minute walk from my house and the overall rating. I called to confirm that they could embroider my grandson's name on a windbreaker I bought for him. The man who answered the phone said Yes, bring it over and he could do it right then. I told him I wanted a bright red color and a cursive font. No problem! He picked out the perfect color, font and size. Before he started, he also showed me the font in a smaller size so I could compare. I thought that was very good customer service. After the job was completed I sent a picture of the embroidered jacket to my daughter and she loved it! I will come back because he also said that they do alterations. read more

I went to Southbay Uniforms for my uniform needs. They over promised and under delivered. I work for a local metro division and was told to use them by a co-worker. I also saw flyers around the division and thought it might make sense to give them a try. I was wrong and would never go back. My order was not ready on time. I had to continue to follow up with her regarding different parts of my order and I am still after (4) four weeks waiting for a few items. Next year, I will be going back to my old vendor. It's farther, but it makes more sense for me and I won't have to wait or feel as if I'm putting the order together myself. If you're smart you won't try this spot. Worst customer service. Order uniforms for my boys. I personally went in to her shop order.... She said didn't hace order forms yet so wrote it on a piece of paper and stated was one of the first to order and that was the reason she didn't hace the forms yet. She presented me with Polo the day before school started. I felt she brought me what she had left over... because she brought me sone other stuff I didn't order instead of my original color I ordered. I had to return and waited second time in she gave me again wrong size and claimed it was a minimal difference between youth XL and adult S wrong we had that conversation the first time she gave me that size. At this time she still has one polo missing and since I liked the color I requested a second one for my other son. She said she would have both on a Tuesday and she would call me.... I texted her Thursday and didn't get and answer texted Friday and told her I would ve coming in around 3:30 and 4 to pickup remaining polos didn't get an answer since before noon.... so I show up and she doesn't have them yet.... I said it doesn't frustrate me you not having it but for you not to take the time to get back and tell me.... I requested a refund as I'm still talking to her another customer comes in and leaves me standing and turns to help me....... This is what I call worst customer service. I had to give a star to post but doesn't deserve a star at all. read more
