No work interference! Plus the location was easy to find and not far off I-64, which was convenient. I checked in at my specified arrival time, paid, and sat down. Not more than 30 seconds later, the tech called my name, asked me the requisite questions, and got me set up with a gown. Then another person called me over to insert the IV for contrast. Both folks were very pleasant and personable, keeping light chatter throughout the process. The MRI tech was great as well, and she checked in throughout the scan to make sure I was okay and to tell me how much longer I had to go. I wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend them to others. Thanks for a positive experience from start to finish!

I had researched & learned that some studies indicate that weight bearing MRI's are more accurate at pinpointing spinal problems than traditional recumbent ones. Sure enough, this MRI picked up a problem that has not showed up on recumbent MRI's & explains many of my symptoms. Both informative & validating! Danielle, the MRI technician was lovely & explained things very well at every step of the process & the front desk staff was quite cheery/welcoming. I was also really pleased that because HROSM has Extended hours, I was able to get an appointment far more quickly than I had expected. All around good experience.

What you don't realize is those are before you go in the scanner. When I went for my scan everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The MRI tech was very kind and tried to help me tolerate it. Unfortunately once I was moved into position inside the machine I knew it wouldn't work. It is true you can see in front but you are inside a tunnel with your arms and shoulders tightly squeezed in sitting on a small uncomfortable chair for 30 minutes. Definitely need sedation which I was trying to avoid. The care I received was exceptional. Wonderful people
