    SCE has built the perfect automated dis -service in order not to provide assistance to its customers!!!

    The customer service aspect of this company is the worst I have ever experienced in my life when dealing with such major company. There is a power outage in my house. I wanted to find out if it was a planned power outage or something had just gone wrong in the neighborhood. So I called and I could not get an answer tru the automated system. I tried reaching a customer service representative. I called again and again and after more than 4 calls and 12 minutes later, I was able to reach a live person who provided answers to my questions in under 3 minutes. But it was a 'mission' in order to reach a customer service representative. Without a doubt, SCE has very successfully prevented the majority of its customers from reaching the customer Service department. I do not recommend the phone service protcol used by SCE. Like I said earlier: The worst out here

    I am constantly having my power shut off in Reche Canyon 10-12 times a year. We raise Catfish and Talipia for personal consumption. Fish require oxygen and temperature which are probably the most important. Do you think Edison cares? My bills are 800 a month then they kill my fish by cutting of their oxygen its like every 8-10 weeks and we get these maintenance notifications. We see new insulators and porcelin lines that of course we as cunsumers will have to pay. The PUC allows SCE to continually pass these cost on to the consumers. Even if you are a disabled senior you still get the burden of these high utility costs making it extremely difficult financially, mentality, and physically. I am exhausted with these high energy bills, black outs, and increasing energy maintenance system costs.

    It's unfortunate that you cant switch electric companies! Good luck trying to talk to a rep on the phone. Horrible customer service.

We bought this property not having any experience with living off a well system. Turns out our tank was not holding air and had a leak in the piping system to our house. Ashley got a service person out right away and scheduled us to re-pipe the main. Ray was a pleasure to work with and very hard worker considering the Valley Center summer heat! Here is what unfolded recently ... My vacation home is a 150 miles away from my main home and I am hardly ever there. So I had to trust Ben completely when he said that he had replaced the well pump motor and that the well was now in good working order. Ben was not happy when I asked if it was okay to pay him in several days giving me time to verify the wells status. His previous temporary fix a week earlier didn't work at all, so I was a bit reluctant to pay this time without checking it out. Despite my hesitancy, he demanded that I pay him immediately via a credit card. So I paid in full based on what I believed was his honorable reputation. The well did work for a couple of watering cycles, but 2-3 weeks later it failed once again. Ben went out to investigate and stated that it was a minor issue and that he would fix it in couple weeks. About 2.5 weeks later, with temps close to 100 degrees and a lot of dying plants, I called Ashley his assistant to convey some urgency. She assured me that he would be out in a few days to make the repairs. Needless to say, he never showed up, nor were any of my increasingly desperate calls to his office ever returned.

What makes Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District the worst is that they brag on their website that 2% to 5% of their customers get their service interrupted (water shut off) each month. That is approximately 13 to 15 thousand people each month have their water shut off. Why you might ask. So that they can charge a $500 deposit. See public utilities are supposedly regulated on what they can charge in California. But deposits and fines are not regulated. So when ever EVMWD needs extra revenue they start sending out shut off notice no matter if you are late or not. when you try to pay online the deposit and fines are already added to your bill before the date of shut off. You have to go into their office to pay and explain you are not late. It's should be illegal for them to do that. It's an addition 6 to 7 million dollars extra revenue for them. They know what they are doing. It's a scam because they are systematically forcing so many people into being late. Then the customers are forced into paying over a $1000 dollars to get their service turned back on. They love to send these notices at the end of the year right before the holidays. It's a big money grab and they should be investigated for this. They will say they are regulated by the Public Utility Commission. But that is only on what they can charge for their water and sewer rates. Not whether they are engaging in predatory practices by forcing customers into default.

Even after changing filters and telling the technician the issue it was not resolved. When we call the business a lady just insulted us, didn't try to resolve the problem. We just wanted the technician to come and fix it. We even went to the shop inside the supermarket and the lady was rude, disrespectful and refused to even send a technician over. She told us to try drinking tap water and see the difference, she never cared about our concerns and never got us any service. We had been long-time customers. We eventually had a technician friend come to look at it and he showed us how there was crack in the system, the water pressure was too high and one filter had to be changed. It shocked us because we just had Professional Pure Water come a few months ago, paid almost $400 for maintenance, new filter and everything. PPWS is not professional at all. We think we have been scammed by a bad business that only take the money but doesn't deliver pure water. Stay away from it. It does not care about its customers at all.
