I hadn't Been to the dentist in years and I have been paying for dental through my employer for 8 years. I had both Delta and TDA over the years. I always had problems locating a dentist in my area . someone pointed out to me that my assigned dentist was Southern Dental which is 4 minutes from my home. Scheduling an appointment was quick easy and convenient . The Dentist and staff are super professional, very friendly and efficient. I had a pain free experience and I was very excited with new dental technology. I had my first root canal (painless) . They also have a payment plan to assist me with paying for all the work I'm having done. Yes even with insurance I have $1200ish out of pocket cost . But these are my teeth and my health I'm talk about so it very well worth eve penny. I had a fantastic dental experience And I would recommend Southern Dental to all who are in need of dental work. read more

I was worry at first after reading the review from previous customer. I also find out there are 2 other positive reviews that some how Yelp left / filtered out. I visit the Walgreen's and the pharmacist gave high recommendation about the office thus I decided to give it a try. I valued referral from a healthcare professional because I am one too and I am very picky in selecting a dentist/doctor. It turns out to be a good experience because the doctor is honest and spent a good amount of time explain things to me from pictures and x-rays he took. No one likes to come to the dentist because we all associate dentists with drill and painful injection. All I can tell is that my experience is a good one with the office and the doctor and I am plan to be a patient as long as the office continue to the nice to me and if I am still live in the area (of course). I don't remember their names (I have memory issues) but it was Saturdays emergency team at the 35th Ave and southern location. I had the younger dentist who was in love with my little princess and a older Queen short white maybe colored hair. They both were amazing and kept me calm while removing the shards of teeth from my gum. They explained everything as it was happening and next step options. I definitely plan on returning to them for all my dental needs. I want them to get their reward so hopefully the descriptions help. I know the dentist is only at that office on Saturday and Monday and the lady used to do dog grooming on the weekends. Oh and the front desk lady was super polite over the phone and in the office so she deserves a reward too. If I need to drive up there to get their names I will. read more

I recently visited Southern Dental because I had avoided dental work for several decades and could not do so any longer. I put my finger on the list of dentists advertised on the internet and landed on Southern Dental. Mind you - I changed the appointment several times due to my dental phobia. Finally, the day arrived for me to show up. I had run out of excuses! Let me tell you that from the moment I walked into this dental office I was made to feel comfortable, respected and valued. I have been to a lot of dentists when I say a lot I mean a lot and the last dentist did a root canal and I still had feelings went back three times and they said they see nothing wrong I'm not trying to bad mouth them but something's wrong it also caused the teeth next to it four teeth to break off, split, chip. So mounts later I got up enough nerve to pick out another Dentist, Southern Dentist on Southern, So to make along story short, I FOUND HEAVEN. ​Southern Dental has been my go to place for dental care. ​For every question I had, they would have the answer for it. The treatments and tips they provide are helping me to maintain my smile :) I recently completed my clear aligner journey with the help of the wonderful folks here. I'm glad I did not go with braces because aligners are so much cooler than grillz. I've always been on top of my teeth, but for whatever reason in these past two years my sensitive has increased in a horrible way. So I went to Southern Dental and thanks to Dr. Sadeghi, who is a great dentist I had a great experience with my cleaning, couple of fillings, and my shiny smile. He explained about sensitive teeth and how to handle it. Thanks to him! The only thing that I felt weird about was the x-ray machine (I've never seen one of those in my life) and it was pretty uncomfortable, but the rest great staff and people. read more

My experience with the establishment and staff have been amazing. The staff is very friendly and the doctor who performed the root canal was amazing, I love his humor and his attention to detail. In fact, all the staff there have made my visits pleasant, including after my visit. I have this horrible pain and swelling and reached out to ask if it's normal and what can be done. They answered my question and ensured my pharmacy had my prescription so that it can ease my pain. I definitely would recommend this office. read more

I have been going to Southern Dental for about two years and would highly recommend them to anyone. My latest visit was for an extraction and I was a little terrified based on prior experiences and I won't say it was pain free but it was close enough. Dr Schmidt and especially his sidekick Sergio took great care of me, explaining what was going to happen, making me comfortable and sending me home with written instruction. Awesome staff great service...started with a dental emergency my front tooth broke!!!!! Called 602 305 8800 and Ada answered the phone with a great attitude got me in for the same day...when I got to the office I met Patti she's dental assistant and she made me feel so much better telling me all the options that they have and got my X-ray done... then I met with doctor Winkleman he was honest and straight to the point.. got what I needed I would recommend this office for all your dental needy read more

I had a wonderful experience at Southern Dental. The staff and Dr Winkleman are very professional, kind I was well taken care of. The Dr went over a treatment plan with me but was not pushy at all like other dentists can be. I will be going back to complete the treatment plan soon. I recently got my wisdom teeth checked (major discomfort in my lower teeth) and the staff was very professional. Patty, Dr Schmidt, And Jasmine were very helping in my time of absolute pain .
