I just gotta shout it out! This place rocks! I told Dan what I understood the problem to be, based on research I did online. Dan did some checking on his own and told me he agreed it sounded like that was the problem. He did some was able to give me an estimate to replace the transmission with a used one - if that turned out to be what was wrong I had to have the car towed. Dan was awesome about staying in touch with me to let me know the status. The price was well within the estimate and, in the few minutes I've driven it since I picked it up, I'm wildly impressed!! He underpromised and over delivered!!! That makes great business sense to me..... The shop was NOT like a showroom. I'm happy my charge didn't include making a fancy place! Craig was awesome, helped us out as much as he could, did everything he could to fix things and always worked with us to make sure we were on the road to get to work. A few years later I'm in the automated car wash and my brake lines blow out. I take it to Craig who gets me back up and running with no muss or fuss, and was again super flexible with me on making sure I could get things done on my schedule. Now, our other car needs brakes and some other work done. Local shop in Ann Arbor tells us $1200 just for BRAKES. Took it to Craig who once again was awesome, quoted us everything and walked us through what needed to be done.
