We visited for the first time on a Sunday in October 2025. We had banana Nutella crepe ($12), sourdough-tomato-mozzarella-basil drizzle sandwich ($7), and orange lemonade ($3.50). Everything was great. The staff were patient. It is a cute little spot with chill vibe. We'll definitely return to experience outdoor seating in warm weather. Side note: For those who prefer coconut milk as a dairy alternative, it's worth noting that while it's an option on their DoorDash menu, it's not something they offer. I wish they do add it as an option. Would love to explore all their lattes.
I've now been here three times in the past two months and I live about 30 min away. I was in there today and someone had a coffee flight. Which they change up often for what is on it. I have always gotten an iced latte, but what I really come here for is the Harvest crepe with basil oil. I'm a savory person so this hits the spot but they also have about a dozen others, mostly sweet. I think you can scroll in on my image to see them on the right. They have a room next door so plenty of seating, a little couch and sitting area in the main room and a few tables out on the sidewalk. Obviously I recommend!
Pit stop for caffeine and a quick bite to eat on the last day of vacation. Service was fast and friendly. Iced tea and iced coffee hit the spot. Hubby had a sweet crepe with butter and honey. I had a savory ham and cheese with a honey mustard drizzle. Both crepes were delicious, just the perfect light lunch. The shop itself is cozy with tables and a sofa. WiFi that works is a bonus!

When it's available and cooked all the way, their breakfast sandwich is one of the best in Southington. However, I've been a few times when they were sold out or, unfortunately, the sandwich was cold in the center. So, consistency is definitely an issue here. The coffee is decent, with a good cold brew, though they seem a bit confused when it comes to more complex drinks like an iced Americano. The pastries are a highlight--some of the best in town, though they're not local, as they're brought in from a bakery in New York or New Jersey. The coffeehouse has a great, cozy vibe. It's one of the only places in town that really feels like a true coffee shop. The annex section is a nice space to meet up with mom friends, and it's good for kids, though the space always has a musty smell. The bathroom situation is a bit inconvenient, as you need to get a pin from the counter and walk down a hallway to the shared bathroom, which can be tricky with a stroller and kids in tow. I always forget to ask for the bathroom code, but that's on me. Overall, I'm really glad Southington Coffeehouse is here. It's a nice option when I want something different. I just wish they'd work on consistency and perhaps train the staff a little more. When you only offer one type of breakfast sandwich, it would be nice if it was consistently available and cooked.
Southington Coffee House is a very cozy and adorable coffee house. They have a good food menu and of course coffee options too. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of seating options too. I enjoyed the spiced chai and the sandwich too. Definitely recommend this spot.
Southington Coffee House has it right, "life is better with crepes." Paired with a perfect cup coffee or tea, it's a match made in heaven. I love visiting for their savory crepe combos and specials. They have sweet crepes and create-your-own with so many options. My favorite is The Harvest crepe filled with squash, peppers, onions, and cheese. Obviously, Southington Coffee House has a lot of options for coffee. From dark and medium roasts to lattes and cappuccinos, they also have refreshers and tea. They have fun weekly inspired menus, coffee flights (available Fridays only), and seasonal flavors. They also have a lot of baked goodies too. Coffee is always piping hot which I always ask for an ice cube to cool it down. My favorite is the dark roast, but the dirty chai is also very good. My most recent visit I got a Caramel Apple Butter Latte... They even got festive fall sleeves for the cups recently. The coffee shop is small and cozy. It's a perfect spot to meet up with a friend for a cup of coffee and a treat. It's located in the center of town with plenty of street parking and a large town parking lot near by. It does get crowded occasionally which can be difficult to eat in. I do wish there was a clearer path to the drink pick-up area because it's blocked by tables and you have to navigate around guests. I hope that I can visit on a Friday someday to try a coffee flight, they have a different one every week. My favorite part of Southington Coffee House are the crepes though, which I highly recommend.
One of our favorite places in town! The drinks taste really good and they have a good variety however it is quite pricey. They charge $1.25 extra for a pump of syrup which is really high. They do flights every Friday, wish they did them more often honestly. The fall flight was so good, especially the butter pecan macchiato. We've had their crepes before which are also very good. It takes some time to get your order on busy weekends so be prepared to wait if it's busy.
We've been lured here by the Friday flights! They had a good selection although I can't say it was all a fave. I love the sweeter side so the peanut butter and brown sugar were delectable. I didn't look it before so I can only say that the agave Arnold Palmer tasted like tea. It couldn't been tea for sure. I was not a fan of the lavender cold brew. The consistency of the foam was very thick although it can't say it marries well with the cold brew. The crepes were oh so delicious! I recommend that hands down! The staff were friendly. I should've asked for their recommendations. Will save that for next time. The cafe was decorated nicely. Makes me wanna hang out all day with a good book. Definitely worth a visit!
Nice place in a very nice neighborhood. They have nice tea flavors of "Harney & sons" it is one of the best tea company in U.S.:)) Also I had a nice blueberry scone. The only thing that the place was very dirty. It was Sunday afternoon the seats and floors were in huge amount of bread crumbs. I clean the seats for myself but the floor asked young lady to do and she did, although moping where my tea and scone is not the best idea especially when your mop is so dirty. keeping dirty table cloth right by the milk, sugar and clean napkins not good. Anyway the owner would do a great favor to the place if he makes sure that the surrounding is clean. I think I will give it another chance for the next time
This is a small, cute coffee shop. I stopped by with my sister and niece. I wasn't sure what to order so I asked the barista for a recommendation and ended up going with the Raspberry White Chocolate Latte with oat milk. My sister ordered the Pistachio Latte, and my niece ordered a crepe - I can't remember what kind, but she didn't think it was the best. My sister and I both enjoyed our lattes though - the flavors were spot on. We don't visit Southington often, but Southington Coffee House will be a pit stop for when we are in town.
We have been going to Southington Coffee for years and have never had a bad experience. It is across the street from a restaurant we like so it was a very easy stop. The drinks are always very creative. One time I went they had an entire Stranger Things menu. The baked goods are great. It is definitely a place you can sit and spend time. They are t a big space, but they have couches abs tables big enough for a small group. We personally spent a good amount of time eating small treats and having coffee. The workers were very accommodating for non-dairy and easily worked drinks to be accessible to me. Their coffee has a great flavor just plain and adding a little oat milk smoothed it out even more. This is definitely a cute spot that is worth visiting.
I had heard good things about Southington Coffee House and decided to give it a try this past weekend. I went for breakfast on Saturday morning and it did not disappoint! This cafe is located in the center of Southington on N. Main St. (Route 10). There's a couple on-street parking spaces out front, but I'd recommend parking in the free municipal lot that's located just a short distance away (next to the First Congregational Church). The inside has a cozy feel to it with tables, counter seating, a couch and coffee table, and even a small private room across the hall with some tables. I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I ordered an Iced Vanilla Chai Latte, which was amazing! To eat I chose the Pigs in a Blanket Crepe, which had ham and cheese. It was delicious! It also came with a side of Honey Mustard for dipping. I also got a cinnamon bun, which was really good- not too sweet, and just the right amount of icing (the staff member actually added a little bit more icing to it with a squeeze bottle). The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. Overall a great spot to grab breakfast, meet a friend for coffee, or bring your laptop and get some work done.
This coffee shop is full of New England charm from the inside out. Small and cozy inside with some seating options to choose from. Sadly, no gluten-free options for pastries which look scrumptious. We ordered a vanilla latte and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. My order was made incorrectly as I ordered it with oat milk so the barista remade it however it was the cinnamon dulce vs the brown sugar latte which I think may taste the similar. She also offered me the latte she initially made which was a nice gesture. The latte was ok. There is parking on the street both in front or across the street. Right now the holiday decorations are out so it's extra charming! The shop is small and tight to maneuver around. It's also a bit confusing where to place your order, menus all over the place; one down low in front of the register, one up High behind the register another all the way on the right wall. It's a nice place to check out. Personally, I'm not certain I would make an effort to return.
5 stars for the helpful staff! My first visit here today and wanted to try the flight. My 3 year old knocked it over almost immediately upon getting it. The taller blonde girl not only helped me clean it up (what a mess, I was mortified!) but also remade it for me. I also got a sourdough mozzarella tomato and basil sandwich that was delicious! My daughter got the sprinkle donut and said it was very yummy- she has been eating it all day bc it's huge! Will definitely come back- next time without my toddler so I can relax and enjoy my coffee. read more

My first experience at Southing Coffee House was a positive one overall. I just stopped for a coffee, one of their Spider-Man themed latte specials: The Friendly Neighborhood Cold Brew (vanilla cold brew, churro cold foam, cinnamon sugar on top) It was not anything extra special, but it was tasty and reasonably priced. I did think the flavors could have been stronger, but again, it was pretty good. The baristas were very friendly, I would like to go back and try something else. The space was also nicely decorated, and there was a good amount of seating. It was pretty full though mid morning on a week day, so just be prepared. Again, pleasant, positive experience, just a touch underwhelmed. read more

#39 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES A cute, lovely, local, coffee shop in the main area of Southington! There was plenty of seating for folks to study and chat along with good drinks and pastries to choose from. They always have speciality coffee drinks for the season so I decided to try one of them! A mix of white and milk chocolate latte, super good and not too sweet. My partner got a caramel latte which was equally good. What I enjoyed most were the $1 leftover pastries that they sell from the day before. Such a good steal and the pastries are still fresh! read more

Love coming here with friends to catch up, amazing little find! Crepes that are made fresh pretty much in front of you, selection is always changing!! They have both sweet and savory options which is a win as sometimes I prefer lunch type stuff for breakfast!! While in Southington a few days ago with a friend, we stopped by Southington Coffee House for a coffee. The coffee shop had the friendliest young people working there. But the space needs a bit of TLC, there was a couch that was in such bad shape, I was embarrassed for them, they should just toss it. We got lattes. I got the banana and my friend got the pumpkin pie flavor. These were delicious, so creamy and flavorful. My banana flavor was a subtle flavor that I really enjoyed. We also got their pumpkin chia seed pudding. This was so tasty and such a better choice than a cookie. The pumpkin syrup gave it a bit of sweetness. We really enjoyed our lattes and the chia pudding. Upon leaving we discovered, that there is a bonus little space to this coffee shop, there were a few people working on their computers with coffee in hand, this space looked a lot newer and more presentable then where we were. read more

I really enjoyed this coffee shop they had a good variety of options when it comes to coffee and non coffee. I tried their bomb pop refresher in the summer and it was amazing! My husband got a strawberry frappe and it was amazing as well. We also tried crepes and both our crepes were great and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and nice here. read more

Super cute place. I love restaurants that are in a cute center of town area. The inside is cozy and warm and just feels really nice and familiar. Unfortunately...the server at the front was quite rude to me once I mentioned I had an allergy to cinnamon. I mentioned to have no cross contamination, as it is a very serious allergy...she gave me a look and then said "I'll try my best". That made me hesitant to eat my food. Anyways though, the food was great. I had the MVP crepe and it was delicious. The strawberries inside were so great and ripe and the dough of the crepe was delicious. I also had the mint mocktail and it was amazing! Great little spot. read more
Finally came back to Southington Coffee House after seeing their rotating specials on Instagram. They've posted several times about a "PB&J Macchiato" and each time we've missed it! Today was the day, and boy was it worth the wait. Not only was this drink gorgeous and totally instagram-worthy but it was probably the best iced coffee drink I've ordered in a long time! WOW! Also, it helps to know I'm a complete sucker for anything flavored PB&J. If this was on the menu everyday, I'd be here constantly! A++++++++ read more
First and foremost I have to say how much I appreciate a business with such an amazing staff. Everyone behind the counter greeted the customers with genuine hospitality. We originally came for the flights but they only offer that on Friday- just an excuse to come back though. We did however enjoy our iced coffees. I got a honey pistachio iced latte with almond milk and my bf got the almond joy special- both delicious. For food, we orders the pigs and a blanket crepe for something savory, and the banana custard caramel crepe (special) for something sweet. Both were so good! I've never had a crepe before so I have nothing to compare it to but I can at least say I will definitely order them again. Presentation was also spot on- they looked as good as they tasted. read more

Came for the crepes and we're so happy that we did! The Pig in a Blanket (ham and cheese) was delicious, with a perfect amount of honey mustard drizzled on top. I also loved the Chocolate Monkey (Nutella and banana), but thought there could've been a bit more Nutella. The peanut butter frappe and nitro cold brew were both refreshing, and the assorted pastries we brought home were great too. The muffins could've been a little more moist, but had a great flavor, and the chocolate croissant was perfect. Ashlynn made everything for us and was very helpful and nice to talk to! Loved the atmosphere here with the old tin ceilings, and they had a great music selection too. read more

This place is so cute! The food was yummy and the staff was so helpful. I originally was a bit indecisive but the woman serving me gave some great recommendations. I ordered the pistachio latte and a crepe with turkey, mozzarella, sundried tomato and basil with a balsamic vinaigrette glaze. The latte had just the right amount of flavoring, I could taste the pistachio but it wasn't overpowering, it was creamy and delicious. The crepe has a great balance of flavors as well. There are sweet crepes as well if that's more to your taste and a nice selection of pastries. The atmosphere is calm and cozy and there is lots of light coming in from front the windows which makes it feel cheery and bright. I will definitely be back! read more
I don't say this lightly, but the Southington Coffee House might be my new favorite spot. Yeah, I said it!! Their coffee and food options are phenomenal, and I'll definitely be back for one of their crepes soon I got their iced peanut butter cup latte half caff with oat milk and it legitimately tasted like it. I'm a Reese's fiend, so this was heaven! We also got an americano for my boyfriend and shared their tomato basil grilled cheese which hit the spot Their staff is some of the friendliest I've encountered recently and the vibe is everything! Sadly we were not impressed with Southington Coffee House. It's a cute place but needs some attention to detail as far as some of the repairs and decor. There were areas on the walls that were unfinished, some uncleanliness around the shop as well. We ordered a hibiscus tea and a lemonade with espresso. The tea, which was mine, had no flavor. It was extremely watered down. My husband ordered lemonade with a double shot of espresso. We paid almost $11 for a very watery small iced tea and lemonade with espresso. read more

First visit to this local coffee shop located in Southington. I follow them on social media for a while, and finally got to experience it. And what a treat that was! Coffee was so good but nothing compares to the most amazing crepes they serve! I need to go back soon! read more
I have been waiting for this coffee shop to open and following their every step on fb. I'm in walking distance to this shop, so I couldn't be more happier to see this place finally open. There was no line when I went in on a Wednesday, but there were a decent amount of people there for it being daytime. They had a Banana Fosters special, so I went with the banana fosters iced latte, substitute coconut milk. It was delicious, the only downside was that there was a lot of ice in it so my coffee didn't last too long, next time I would say light ice. I also tried a savory crepe, the Monte Cristo. I didn't see it on the menu, but the very hospitable barista behind the counter mentioned it when she heard I ordered a ham and Swiss, so I tried it. It was delicious and super filling. They make the crepes right in front of you which is pretty cool and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. It did need some powdered sugar on top as well as maple syrup, maybe the syrup was on there but I couldn't tell so it def needed more. My bf got the strawberry and banana crepe which I did not see and he said it was ok, but needed something else, so next time maybe he should add a topping. They have a toppings list, so make sure you get some extra toppings. All and all, I will definitely be back here, as I live around the corner and I'm obsessed with coffee. Oh, and they also have coffee on TAP, they have Nitro Coffee, which you can't really find at too many places around here, so that's another plus. Do they brew flavored iced coffee or cold brew? Or do they only use flavored shots?
We have two iced teas that are brewed. Other flavors are from Flavored shots.
