The taller blonde girl not only helped me clean it up (what a mess, I was mortified!) but also remade it for me. I also got a sourdough mozzarella tomato and basil sandwich that was delicious! My daughter got the sprinkle donut and said it was very yummy- she has been eating it all day bc it's huge! My first experience at Southing Coffee House was a positive one overall. I just stopped for a coffee, one of their Spider-Man themed latte specials: The Friendly Neighborhood Cold Brew (vanilla cold brew, churro cold foam, cinnamon sugar on top) It was not anything extra special, but it was tasty and reasonably priced. I did think the flavors could have been stronger, but again, it was pretty good. The baristas were very friendly, I would like to go back and try something else. The space was also nicely decorated, and there was a good amount of seating. It was pretty full though mid morning on a week day, so just be prepared. There was plenty of seating for folks to study and chat along with good drinks and pastries to choose from. They always have speciality coffee drinks for the season so I decided to try one of them! A mix of white and milk chocolate latte, super good and not too sweet. My partner got a caramel latte which was equally good. We visited for the first time on a Sunday in October 2025. We had banana Nutella crepe ($12), sourdough-tomato-mozzarella-basil drizzle sandwich ($7), and orange lemonade ($3.50). Everything was great. The staff were patient. It is a cute little spot with chill vibe. We'll definitely return to experience outdoor seating in warm weather. Side note: For those who prefer coconut milk as a dairy alternative, it's worth noting that while it's an option on their DoorDash menu, it's not something they offer. I've now been here three times in the past two months and I live about 30 min away. I was in there today and someone had a coffee flight. Which they change up often for what is on it. I have always gotten an iced latte, but what I really come here for is the Harvest crepe with basil oil. I'm a savory person so this hits the spot but they also have about a dozen others, mostly sweet. I think you can scroll in on my image to see them on the right. They have sweet crepes and create-your-own with so many options. My favorite is The Harvest crepe filled with squash, peppers, onions, and cheese. Obviously, Southington Coffee House has a lot of options for coffee. From dark and medium roasts to lattes and cappuccinos, they also have refreshers and tea. They have fun weekly inspired menus, coffee flights (available Fridays only), and seasonal flavors. They also have a lot of baked goodies too. Coffee is always piping hot which I always ask for an ice cube to cool it down. My favorite is the dark roast, but the dirty chai is also very good. My most recent visit I got a Caramel Apple Butter Latte... They even got festive fall sleeves for the cups recently. The coffee shop is small and cozy. It's a perfect spot to meet up with a friend for a cup of coffee and a treat. It's located in the center of town with plenty of street parking and a large town parking lot near by. It does get crowded occasionally which can be difficult to eat in. I do wish there was a clearer path to the drink pick-up area because it's blocked by tables and you have to navigate around guests. I hope that I can visit on a Friday someday to try a coffee flight, they have a different one every week. One of our favorite places in town! The drinks taste really good and they have a good variety however it is quite pricey. They charge $1.25 extra for a pump of syrup which is really high. They do flights every Friday, wish they did them more often honestly. The fall flight was so good, especially the butter pecan macchiato. We've had their crepes before which are also very good. It takes some time to get your order on busy weekends so be prepared to wait if it's busy. read more

We've been lured here by the Friday flights! They had a good selection although I can't say it was all a fave. I love the sweeter side so the peanut butter and brown sugar were delectable. I didn't look it before so I can only say that the agave Arnold Palmer tasted like tea. It couldn't been tea for sure. I was not a fan of the lavender cold brew. The consistency of the foam was very thick although it can't say it marries well with the cold brew. The crepes were oh so delicious! I recommend that hands down! The staff were friendly. Nice place in a very nice neighborhood. They have nice tea flavors of "Harney & sons" it is one of the best tea company in U.S.:)) Also I had a nice blueberry scone. The only thing that the place was very dirty. It was Sunday afternoon the seats and floors were in huge amount of bread crumbs. I clean the seats for myself but the floor asked young lady to do and she did, although moping where my tea and scone is not the best idea especially when your mop is so dirty. keeping dirty table cloth right by the milk, sugar and clean napkins not good. This is a small, cute coffee shop. I stopped by with my sister and niece. I wasn't sure what to order so I asked the barista for a recommendation and ended up going with the Raspberry White Chocolate Latte with oat milk. My sister ordered the Pistachio Latte, and my niece ordered a crepe - I can't remember what kind, but she didn't think it was the best. They are t a big space, but they have couches abs tables big enough for a small group. We personally spent a good amount of time eating small treats and having coffee. The workers were very accommodating for non-dairy and easily worked drinks to be accessible to me. Their coffee has a great flavor just plain and adding a little oat milk smoothed it out even more. I had heard good things about Southington Coffee House and decided to give it a try this past weekend. I went for breakfast on Saturday morning and it did not disappoint! This cafe is located in the center of Southington on N. Main St. (Route 10). There's a couple on-street parking spaces out front, but I'd recommend parking in the free municipal lot that's located just a short distance away (next to the First Congregational Church). The inside has a cozy feel to it with tables, counter seating, a couch and coffee table, and even a small private room across the hall with some tables. I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I ordered an Iced Vanilla Chai Latte, which was amazing! To eat I chose the Pigs in a Blanket Crepe, which had ham and cheese. It was delicious! It also came with a side of Honey Mustard for dipping. I also got a cinnamon bun, which was really good- not too sweet, and just the right amount of icing (the staff member actually added a little bit more icing to it with a squeeze bottle). The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. Overall a great spot to grab breakfast, meet a friend for coffee, or bring your laptop and get some work done. read more

This coffee shop is full of New England charm from the inside out. Small and cozy inside with some seating options to choose from. Sadly, no gluten-free options for pastries which look scrumptious. We ordered a vanilla latte and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. My order was made incorrectly as I ordered it with oat milk so the barista remade it however it was the cinnamon dulce vs the brown sugar latte which I think may taste the similar. She also offered me the latte she initially made which was a nice gesture. The latte was ok. There is parking on the street both in front or across the street. Right now the holiday decorations are out so it's extra charming! The shop is small and tight to maneuver around. It's also a bit confusing where to place your order, menus all over the place; one down low in front of the register, one up High behind the register another all the way on the right wall. I was excited to try the creative holiday crepes and some coffee to fuel my husband and I's Xmas shopping excursion. Very pricey at over $40 for two crepes, an espresso and cup of coffee. The for-here coffee came in paper/plastic. bummer. He took a sip and gave the sucky-face. Then I sipped mine and did the same. Since we needed the energy we kept repeating until gone. The crepes took a day and a half to come out. Beautifully platted. My husband's was fairly full of stuffing, but mine was lacking, like way lacking in anything resembling what should have been in there. The crepe itself was divine. While in Southington a few days ago with a friend, we stopped by Southington Coffee House for a coffee. The coffee shop had the friendliest young people working there. But the space needs a bit of TLC, there was a couch that was in such bad shape, I was embarrassed for them, they should just toss it. We got lattes. I got the banana and my friend got the pumpkin pie flavor. These were delicious, so creamy and flavorful. My banana flavor was a subtle flavor that I really enjoyed. We also got their pumpkin chia seed pudding. This was so tasty and such a better choice than a cookie. The pumpkin syrup gave it a bit of sweetness. We really enjoyed our lattes and the chia pudding. Upon leaving we discovered, that there is a bonus little space to this coffee shop, there were a few people working on their computers with coffee in hand, this space looked a lot newer and more presentable then where we were. read more

Unfortunately...the server at the front was quite rude to me once I mentioned I had an allergy to cinnamon. Finally came back to Southington Coffee House after seeing their rotating specials on Instagram. They've posted several times about a "PB&J Macchiato" and each time we've missed it! First and foremost I have to say how much I appreciate a business with such an amazing staff. Everyone behind the counter greeted the customers with genuine hospitality. We originally came for the flights but they only offer that on Friday- just an excuse to come back though. We did however enjoy our iced coffees. I got a honey pistachio iced latte with almond milk and my bf got the almond joy special- both delicious. For food, we orders the pigs and a blanket crepe for something savory, and the banana custard caramel crepe (special) for something sweet. Both were so good! I've never had a crepe before so I have nothing to compare it to but I can at least say I will definitely order them again. Came for the crepes and we're so happy that we did! The Pig in a Blanket (ham and cheese) was delicious, with a perfect amount of honey mustard drizzled on top. I also loved the Chocolate Monkey (Nutella and banana), but thought there could've been a bit more Nutella. The peanut butter frappe and nitro cold brew were both refreshing, and the assorted pastries we brought home were great too. I enjoy coming here once in a while because the ambience has a cozy coffee shop feel most of the time and the staff are usually very friendly and social. It can get busy weekend mornings after 8A or 9A. Then it can be bit difficult to move about. They do have another indoor seating area with books and other material. Many times early mornings and afternoons can be very quiet and peaceful. Depending on the day it's a good spot for introspection, good for meetups, ease dropping, or just a quick treat. Price point is typical of most places these days. As for their coffee, I've only had their hot coffee. It was just coffee - far from Colombian coffee which I enjoy. What I do like is their chai tea, especially when it's dirty. A dirty chai will have a shot (or two) of espresso. It adds a little kink to my day. The perfect little pick me up when I don't want anything strong and I don't necessarily desire coffee. One of my favorite foods is their brioche potato and egg sandwich with cheese and red onion jam. There's been a handful of times where the sandwich tasted like it had just been pulled from the fridge. A rare treat as after a while it doesn't hit the mark. Their grilled cheese sandwiches are also very cheesy, crispy and delicious. Sometimes too cheesy. The baked goods are from a local Bristol bakery, and I think they also order from a New York bakery. I ordered the pistachio latte and a crepe with turkey, mozzarella, sundried tomato and basil with a balsamic vinaigrette glaze. The latte had just the right amount of flavoring, I could taste the pistachio but it wasn't overpowering, it was creamy and delicious. The crepe has a great balance of flavors as well. There are sweet crepes as well if that's more to your taste and a nice selection of pastries. Sadly we were not impressed with Southington Coffee House. It's a cute place but needs some attention to detail as far as some of the repairs and decor. There were areas on the walls that were unfinished, some uncleanliness around the shop as well. We ordered a hibiscus tea and a lemonade with espresso. The tea, which was mine, had no flavor. Happy I gave this spot a second try! I first went well over a year ago and the coffee was very very good but the service was sub par. I went back on the 4th of July and the service was exceptional, coffee amazing and I tried the brioche sandwhich which was very good! I had the added bonus of being there while they were taking photos for Friday flights so I got to try one of those too! I have been waiting for this coffee shop to open and following their every step on fb. I'm in walking distance to this shop, so I couldn't be more happier to see this place finally open. There was no line when I went in on a Wednesday, but there were a decent amount of people there for it being daytime. They had a Banana Fosters special, so I went with the banana fosters iced latte, substitute coconut milk. It was delicious, the only downside was that there was a lot of ice in it so my coffee didn't last too long, next time I would say light ice. I also tried a savory crepe, the Monte Cristo. I didn't see it on the menu, but the very hospitable barista behind the counter mentioned it when she heard I ordered a ham and Swiss, so I tried it. It was delicious and super filling. They make the crepes right in front of you which is pretty cool and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. It did need some powdered sugar on top as well as maple syrup, maybe the syrup was on there but I couldn't tell so it def needed more. My bf got the strawberry and banana crepe which I did not see and he said it was ok, but needed something else, so next time maybe he should add a topping. They have a toppings list, so make sure you get some extra toppings. All and all, I will definitely be back here, as I live around the corner and I'm obsessed with coffee.
