It's a downtown Southington staple. Paul Gregory's set a standard years ago when it opened and has really held it for a long time. The ambiance is great. The food, delicious. Portions are large. The staff is always friendly. Walked right in on a weekday morning!

This place has great ambiance. It looks like rustic industrial decor. Great potions, excellent service. Yummy in my tummy! FYI its only breakfast on Sunday. However they have variety of grab and go options that will make you happy.

Literally the best breakfast either this foodie (45) or her husband (59) have ever had. I don't care about the location, the ambience, or the service...the food was simply that good. I don't think I've ever been able to write a review that was so straightforward. I had the brisket tacos, and he had the corned-beef hash. We traded mid-meal, and both dishes were beyond amazing. Go here.

Paul Gregory's is a cozy bistro in a factory setting. Besides having a restaurant area, they also have a bakery area with grab and go food as well. The bakery area has a large assortment of generous portion cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, breads, etc. I would have like to have seen prices shown on their bakery items. We came for breakfast and I chose the Banana Foster French Toast topped with roasted bourbon candied pecans. It was very good, but a bit on the sweet side compared to others that I've had. My wife had the Between the Bread. Two eggs, cheese, and bacon on their homemade english muffin. The eggs, and bacon were cooked to perfection, and their homemade English muffin without a doubt, was the best English muffin she has ever had. We received good friendly service, and will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu.

My friend and I de used we wound meet up for breakfast. I was excited because I had not been to Paul Gregory's in years. As a matter of fact I didn't really recognize it. It was new, modernized, big. Last time I was there was still in the small older location. Now, it's walking distance to Perkatory by the trail. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays! Many tables and room to seat others. We went on a Saturday and didn't need to wait to be seated. Our waitress was so nice. Loved that they had GF options. I had the Flatboy ( GF cauliflower breakfast pizza) and I loved it! It was different and filling! Prices are great too. They offer breakfast and lunch. When you walk in you are welcomed by these delicious sweet treats that look so good! Food took a while to come out. But we were in no rush . We loved our food that I can't wait to go back ! Great place!

I Definitely would not categorize this as a Bistro!! It's just an old fashion breakfast, lunch spot and I mean old fashion! Typical menu, diner style seating in a factory setting. Average coffee and terrible cappuccino, stick to the staples when coming here, to be safe.....Egg and cheese were great!!! Slow service and an extremely dirty dining room which I suppose that is what turned me off from the start. This place has potential maybe it was an off day.....or week?

This is a very busy restaurant for Sunday brunch. We decided to wait for a table as we were pretty hungry. They only serve the breakfast menu on Sundays. Would have been nice to have more options to choose from the lunch menu also, but it's ok. Hubby & I got the smoked salmon on an open bagel, and that was pretty good. My friend got the chicken and waffles and she really liked it, along with the tater tots. It was a pleasant time!

Gave this place two chances, each time the food has been overly greasy and tasted like old fryer oil. No thank you.

I was looking for a stunning and delicious cake for my mom's 80th birthday, and I was absolutely delighted with the result. From the moment I walked into the shop, I knew I was in the right place. Lori greeted me warmly and generously took the time to talk through exactly what I was hoping for. It was such a refreshing change from the usual "hurry up" and "good enough" experience I often encounter when searching for something that matters deeply to me, even if it may not seem as significant to the person helping. Lori was attentive to every detail in the most efficient way. She guided me through decisions without ever being pushy, offered recommendations that were perfectly suited to my needs, and ultimately created one of the most beautiful - and most delicious - cakes I've ever had. She also packaged it carefully for the three-hour drive to New Jersey and thoughtfully accounted for potential January weather complications ahead of the party. My mother was truly blown away by the piano keyboard and hydrangea flower decorations, and our guests raved about the chocolate raspberry buttercream cake, as well as the salted caramel and vanilla cupcakes. Thank you, Lori, for an exceptional bakery experience at every level.

In Italy, the word is "Nonnie" which just happens to be the name of an amazing Italian bakery we visited today. To be honest, calling Nonni's a "bakery" really shortchanges Grandma, because it is SO much more than that. Yes, of course they sell an incredible variety of beautifully crafted cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and cannolis, but you can also buy breakfast sandwiches, pizza, stromboli, arancino, stuffed breads, grinders, chicken cutlets and more. Their store is awesome, and you'll find yourself staring at their showcases and refrigerated cases. Service is top notch, with plenty of helpful and smiling folks helping you. We picked up an eclectic group of odds and ends - croissants, donuts, danishes, and a big arancini stuffed with meat and vegetables. We attacked that first as an appetizer with dinner, and it was terrific. I can't wait to sample the rest of their wares. PRO TIP Their Italian cookies look amazing, and we will definitely be back to supply our Thanksgiving dessert table with their Rainbow and Birthday Cake cookie cubes.

With axe throwing, a retro arcade, coffee, chocolate, and this bakery. I got to explore the exposed brick and large filament lights of this specific locale, and picked up some sweets from this little shop. It's very much loud and proud in it's appearances on popular food television. Having pride in your success is a good thing, but it's very much in your face about it. It also prices accordingly, making the price of the baked goods you get at least a couple bucks extra. Thankfully, the baked goods are actually pretty good. We got a couple misfits, a couple french macarons, and one of the dessert waffles they had. The misfit muffins tasted pretty good, soft and light, not too sweet, and well balanced. The French macarons, they were not too great. the filling was sweet but lacking depth. they were pretty though. The standout was the Dessert waffle. Sweet, crispy but cakey, and plenty of chocolate and peanut butter flavor. A surprising bite, and tasty. Overall, it's a good dessert place to go to and try out. Not worth a trek, but a solid choice for that specific area

A second location opened in Southington at the historic Factory Square complex in October 2021. Another location once existed at the Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, but it has since closed. The locations offer cupcakes, custom cakes, cake pops, whoopie pies, cookies and muffins. I stopped at the Southington location of Hardcore Sweet for the first time this past July. Several businesses located at Factory Square were offering special menu items to celebrate Harry Potter's birthday. Factory Square is located conveniently alongside the popular Farmington Canal Trail, so I cycled there. Hardcore Sweet had several Harry Potter offerings that day, but by the time I had arrived most of them were sadly sold out. I ordered one of the few Harry Potter treats that they had left: Buckbeak's Breakfast Cupcake. It was delicious! I definitely need to come back to try more of their tasty treats on a future visit to Factory Square. I just need to get there earlier in the day when their selection is bigger.
