I contacted a few Security Systems companies via Yelp and CRISP was the first to respond. Ricardo followed up quickly and often and was open to a little negotiation. We set a time and his colleague came EARLY (imagine that) and was polite. He asked if he should take his shoes off and he immediately went to work on the control panels. He had to hard reset the system and test it out. He explained to me how to arm, disarm, and reset. He also explained a few things that I had no idea about. He gave me a battery that I'd need to buy to replace the sensor batteries in the future. Being a relatively new homeowner in the South Bay, I've had my fair share of both good and bad service providers. CRISP is by far one of the more thorough, professional, quick, and honest ones. If I ever consider a smart home security device, I'll definitely go back to them

He goes on and tells me they basically cover anywhere from Torrance to San Bernardino but being that I live by the harbor which is basically 5 miles away from Torrance, they don't cover that area. That might have been something the office could have said when I first booked the appointment. Honestly sounded like the guy just didn't want to do his job and come by and give me a quote. Horrible service! If you guys are reading this and living by the harbor area don't call these guys because they don't cover the area even though they'll go out to San Bernardino which is like 70 miles away from there office!

But Jack turned that around completely with some fantastic advice over the phone. Instead of pushing for an expensive upgrade, Jack recommended switching our land line provider from AT&T to Spectrum. This simple change would save us over $300 per month without needing to touch any of our existing equipment--and he didn't charge a dime for the consultation! We're talking $30 a month for a business landline with Spectrum versus the whopping $360 we were paying AT&T. Thanks to his pointer, Spectrum is coming out tomorrow to handle the switch and finally rid us of that overpriced service. What really sets Jack apart is that he was the only one out of several companies I contacted who actually suggested this smart solution. The others either ghosted me or tried to upsell unnecessary work. Jack's honesty and willingness to help, even if it meant no immediate business for him, speak volumes about his integrity. This is an update to my review of Tekman Security almost exactly 9 years ago…read more Chris is always been our go-to guy for hanging TV's, and maintaining the camera system he installed when we renovated the home back in 2015. Some of those cameras had reached the end of their useful lifespans and needed to be replaced. One had a damage power cable which Chris was easily able to remedy. As usual, they arrived absolutely on time, as promised. The quote I got back in June didn't change as the result of having to special order cameras for my particular installation. Chris remains truly the best in the business and is now keeping his son employed in the Summer learning quite a bit about the business as he goes. You really can't go wrong here. Very competitive pricing, prompt - on time service and absolutely flawless post-sale service. This is truly your guy for all your low voltage needs!!
