Basically living on campus without having to pay ridiculous dorm rent. Downstairs units have washer dryer hookups but if you are in an upstairs unit there is on-site laundry. Dishwasher is a huge plus. No A/C but the heating is great. I don't have to leave my heating on all day to stay warm. The apartment has good insulation. Parking is never an issue for guests. I recommend this place to any WOU students.

Nothing ever happened to him. The managers blamed my child. Another child bullied my child, and he told her to leave him alone. She wouldn't, so to protect himself, he hit her to get her to stop. Again, my child's fault. It is not a family-friendly environment. Children must be quiet on the playground; they are not allowed to ride bikes, skateboards, or rollerblades around the complex.

There was no clear explanation, no correction, and no meaningful communication--just delays. The lack of transparency and accountability during the deposit dispute made the entire experience extremely frustrating. Renters should be aware that resolving issues with this company may require far more effort than expected.

She moved in with the carpet not cleaned, holes in the carpet along with permanent stains and melted crayons. Long story short she made an agreement with them that she wouldn't have to pay for the carpet damages or the cleaning since she moved in without the apartment being "professionally" cleaned. While she lived there, maintenance rarely if ever came. The apartment was left cleaner and in better condition then when she moved in. The starting rent 2 years ago was $700 then after one year for no reason other than because they could they raised the rent on her to $800. They were about to raise it again on her, why... because they could. She has been waiting nearly 2 months for her close to full return back. My wife lived at RiverPlace... too expensive but she got all her deposit back minus a small reasonable carpet cleaning fee which she was given proof and receipts for her records, she lived there for 2 years and got full return. Western View Properties however gave her a laundry list of maintenance "done" after she moved out. She gave a 30 day notice and left in 12. They pocketed the rest of the month's rents knowing it was empty just to keep the money. Fine, thats legal. They said there was a $165 cleaning fee, for what... she has video and pictures from the move in date and move out date. They charged her $130 for a carpet cleaning, even though they knew she was the apartment that they made the no carpet cleaning deal with upon move in. The locks broke.... literally fell off door and she was locked out till I let her in. They never fixed the issue even nearly after a year of it falling and wiggling while opening. She replaced the bad lock and gave them keys... she was charged $123.00 for a lock smith out of Salem to go to Dallas who changed almost as much for the mileage as the re-locking. 3 windows in whole apartment, she never left windows open, and were clean, they charged a $80 window screen cleaning fee. They charged a $88 maintenance fee, for what...everything they didn't fix for her over the years? That said, even if and when she takes them to small claims court, this is 2/3 weeks before Christmas. They just ripped her off her holiday money with a smile, they will do it to you too. This issue isnt over. They will see her in small claims with all the video and pictures that documented their theft. Bad business. Go elsewhere.

Update: it is now Sunday and I did receive a call back from the tech. Unfortunately he is unable to…read morefix the issue and has dispatched an email to his supervisor who is the Network Administrator. The hope is that the NetA can resolve the issue remotely. Update: A Minet tech named Michael came over and was very, very helpful. He looked into their box which contained all of the cables and wires coming into the apartment and was able to locate the issue. He was professional and stayed until everything was set. Excellent service. The following day I received an update email from Josh ensuring that all was working as it should. I assured him that it was. I must admit that I am thrilled with the service I have received.

Customer Service Complaint…read more Today I visited your office to inquire about an available rental property. Unfortunately, the customer service I received from the receptionist, Dina, was very disappointing. From the moment I arrived, she was rude, dismissive, abrupt, and unprofessional. She did not make me feel welcome and showed very little interest in assisting me. At the end of our conversation, I respectfully told her that her attitude and the way she was treating customers were not appropriate for someone working in customer service. Her only response was, "Well, I'm sorry you feel that way," said in a dismissive and indifferent tone, without any genuine concern or attempt to address the situation. I believe the front desk staff represents the company, and every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. This experience left me with a very negative impression of your company. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to improve the quality of customer service for future customers.
