Someone booked a flight using my points. I received email confirmation # CLDW94 with Stephanie Fields listed as the passenger. She booked the flight using my points and flew the same day, 5/21/26. I have not idea who this dishonest person is. However, she should be arrested for theft. There is no way to contact Southwest on their website about this. I finally found a customer service number online. However the only thing that person did for me was send an email to corporate. She would not guarantee I would get my points back. read more

Once again Southwest fails to deliver on time boarding or flights. What gets me is the announcer reminds us "when our flight takes off is all dependent on how fast the plane is de-boarded and how fast you board the plane" The flight has already been delayed an two and half hours but yet it's on us now at this point to pull it all together? Absolutely everything went without a hitch perfectly. I am on a portable oxygen concentrator. They made sure I had everything I needed. I had wheelchair accessibility did not have to go through the terminals to get to my gate was so wonderful. I'm not afraid of flying by myself anymore. Thank you, Southwest. read more

Where do I begin. My trip to New England from Seattle was a two-legged journey - I knew that going into it. I prefer changing flights and landing in at the small regional airport in NH rather than going in and out of Boston. On the way out my flight was delayed 3 hours. I was very concerned because I would miss my connecting flight. I had to run to the connecting flight and literally just made it. I was lucky because that flight was significantly delayed too! Then, for the way back, I get a text message telling me that my Friday flight was delayed until 5:00AM Sunday morning. At that point, I booked a non-stop flight on a different airline and arranged to have the rental car returned to Boston. For s**ts and giggles, I looked up the 5:00AM flight on Sunday after-the-fact. It was delayed 2 hours as well. Manchester NH airport is an easy in and out, and a nice airport, however so few airlines fly in there that if you are stuck and can't leave the airport, you could be there for a while. Next time I'm flying non-stop. And PS they do not serve alcohol on their flights. The airline I flew to get back did. Some people need a drink to take the edge off of flying. read more

We knew we were off to a good start on our return flight to Baltimore on a Southwest flight when we used curbside check in with Robert Cunningham. He was full of personality and smiles. He made us feel so welcome. Unfortunately, as we arrived way early for our flight, we did not know that the flight had been delayed. We were supposed to take off at 4:45 PM and did not actually take off 6:15 PM. We finally found out that there was some mechanical difficulty on the flight from Baltimore to Manchester, and they had to switch out the crew and aircraft - thus the delay. Otherwise, we had an uneventful flight to Baltimore. read more

We had absolutely no problems with our flights. The pilot dealt with a 100% full plane that passengers were board too slowly with humor. The flight attendants were charismatic and helpful also. Our planes left on time with no incidents. Jet Blue is more comfortable and has better services and food, but Jet Blue isn't so much better than Southwest that we would deal with Boston again. The one complaint I have is that the sound system in one of the planes was terrible. I couldn't hear a word of any of the announcements. The plane for our return trip had a great sound system, I could hear everything. It could be dangerous in an emergency if passengers can't hear announcements. Southwest please check your planes' speakers. read more

Southwest has always been dependable. The flight attendants are pleasant unlike Delta or AA. The unreserved seating can be a little crazy, but they make it work in the end. No frills on flight snacks. You're getting peanuts and that's it. But I'm not looking for a dining experience in a flying tin can. If you can't make it 3 hours without a meal, there are other problems. Southwest is an excellent value and a pleasant experience. read more

Why does air travel suck so bad? It amazes me that air travel sucks so bad. Southwest has some great commercials touting how they let their bags fly for free while other carriers charge. I agree that charging for bags rubs me the wrong way. What is worse than charging for bags? How about canceling flights. I know it happens since it happened to me recently from Philly to Boston. It sucks but I would rather make it to my destination in one piece. I agree safety first. So why the two stars? I had two co-workers on different flights get cancelled too within 24 hours of mine. I was amazed. I have traveled bunches over the years and never experienced that rate with other airlines. WOW Your bags might fly free but it will cost you plenty of time waiting for a dependable plane.... read more

I'm rating Southwest Airlines out of Manchester to help boost their score on Yelp. I've flown with them for more than 10 separate trips and have never had a problem. In fact, my flights have almost consistently left early and/or arrived early in every destination -- sometimes 45 to 60 minutes beforehand! The line-up before boarding is efficient, the staff is friendly, and the price is right. It's nice that Southwest offers some different destinations than Manchester, allowing more variety and opportunity to fly this next-generation airline. Bags fly free, snacks are included, the only thing that's missing is the JetBlue TV. Definitely fly Southwest out of Manchester. My favorite destinations are non-stop flights to Phoenix and Vegas. read more

I love Southwest and have been using their service for years. They are the only airline with a non-stop to my destination. The people are always so nice and the planes are as clean as they can be considering the use they get. Boarding by groups is a hassle but I see why they want to do it that way. Dee is amazing! Flight N2D2I9 from Manchester to Orlando on Tuesday September 19th at 6:15am. Young teenager vomited in the aisle during the boarding process. He was trying to get to the bathroom in the back of the plane. Dee took right over. While panic seemed to be all over the passengers in the back of the plane, Dee helped the poor embarrassed teen. She verbally comforted him and helped him to the bathroom. She took control of the aisle mess. I do have to say, none of the other attendants assisted. She was calm, respected and very thorough in the cleaning process. Amazing Dee. We need more of her on our flights. Great job. I'd fly on Southwest with her any day. read more

Bought a ticket for my son to fly from Manchester, NH to Tampa through Baltimore for a lacrosse trip, and the plane took off but was turned around mid-flight and sent back to Manchester. Southwest allowed a number of adults to jump onto a direct flight but made no accomodations for kids or elderly travelling alone, and cancelled all connections, and told us that everyone was on their own to find new flights at the desk in Baltimore In the mean time, the flight from Baltimore to Tampa was canceled, stranding my son in Baltimore. No word from Southwest to my son or any other passengers, just an email to my wife's email address. We got on the phone and because everyone was rebooking, it turned out that the next flight with availability was 8 hours later, or the next day. The 800 number (Elizabeth & Tiffany) were no help after a 35 minute hold, and suggested initially that I pick him up and try the next day, good luck. Then the call was dropped (2X) so I had to give up. Manchester airport number 603-236-1466 was useless, left a voice mail that was never returned, and Lori at the gate in Manchester told us that we were on our own to find new flights. I called the customer service number 214-932-0333 and the first person I spoke to suggested I buy a new ticket, or go standby and have my son find a hotel room if he didn't make the flight (16 years old!) but finally got someone who could confirm my son on the 8:25pm flight at no charge. So 3 hours of phone calls later, I was able to prevent my son from being stranded in Baltimore and arrive at almost midnight in Tampa, while adults on the same plane were able to get on a direct flight... Way to take care of our kids, Southwest! read more

Not happy with Southwest at the moment. On July 21, 2016 we, myself/husband/son/daughter-in-law, travelled from Manchester NH to San Diego with a layover at Midway, Chicago. My husband has a broken foot and required a wheelchair. The airport personnel at Manchester were unbelievably helpful. The check-in process there was quick, my husband and I received preboarding tickets and did not have to stand on the TSA line, and an attendant wheeled my husband all the way to the terminal. Once it was time to board another attendant wheeled him down the ramp and we got seats right up front. Once we arrived in Chicago the day went to hell in a hand basket. Southwest had been having computer problems for awhile and every flight was delayed or cancelled. It was total bedlam. There was a wheelchair waiting for us but NO attendant to help. We had to navigate the concourse ourselves, which was not easy. Delay after delay we finally were able to board the plane. Again, no attendant to help and since I was the only other one with a pre-board ticket I had to push my husband down the ramp, plus carry our carry-on luggage, which was no easy feat. I attempted to save seats for my son & d-i-l, which I was told was perfectly acceptable, and a wonderful "gentleman" literally pushed me out of the way to take one of the seats, saying he paid extra to sit there which is untrue, and the flight attendant just shrugged her shoulders. We finally arrived in San Diego, 3.5 hours late causing us to miss a pre-wedding get-together. When we got off the plane there was a wheelchair and, we thought an attendant. The attendant had my husband sit in a wheelchair and we thought she was going to wheel him up the ramp. She instead removed an empty wheelchair out of the way and never returned. Again, I had to push the wheelchair up the ramp to get out of the way of the other passengers and wait for my son. That was just the flight out. The flight home was not as bad but not good either. The flight home: San Diego to Manchester NH with a plane change in BWI. Check-in took forever because we had a trainee. They called for an attendant to help get us through TSA and to the gate. Unfortunately, we were not told where to wait for the attendant, nor what to look for. We saw many Southwest employees pass is by, my husband holding his assistance placard, but not one even glanced our way. My son stopped an employee after some time and was told that the request for assistance had been called in. After a 15-20 minute wait, an attendant eventually did come out to assist my husband. Our flight was delayed by 30 minutes which meant it was going to be tough getting our connecting flight. We were told at the ticket counter by a manager, who's name I unfortunately did not get, that once we got to BWI there would be an attendant to help get us to the gate and that they would make sure at least one seat was saved up front for my husband. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN!!!! We arrived at Gate A5 and had to get to Gate A10. Doesn't sound like it would be difficult does it. We had to go up the elevator, which was on the opposite direction of the gate, then traverse the concourse only to have to go down again. Once we were down we again had to make our way through the concourse to the gate, all the while running to catch our plane. Luckily we sent my d-i-l ahead do they knew we were coming. All other passengers had boarded. Once we got to the plane we discovered there was NO seat up front for my husband. My son asked the flight attendant about it and she said "it would be impossible for anyone in San Diego to promise us that". Luckily a woman in the front gave up her seat for him. We arrived in Manchester and low and behold there was an attendant waiting for my husband!! The only airport that was accommodating to us was Manchester. Southwest was not accommodating to our special travel needs at all. read more

Thank heaven for Southwest Airlines. No other airline would have measured up as well. During holiday travel our group came down with the flu. If we would have had to fly it would have been very bad, for us and probably those around us. Thankfully, even in the heart of the busiest travel week we were able to change our flights with no penalties or added cost. Please let this be the benchmark, not the exception. read more

SWA did a great job, but they also helped(??) us rent a car from Thrifty at the Manchester Airport. Thrifty was a mess. No cars, and no attendant. Sorry SWA, you need to clean up your partner's act or stop selling their services. read more

Before yesterday I boosted to my friends about Southwest airlines simple and convenient approach to flying. After my experience yesterday I can no longer say that is true. Concluded today with my complaint to customer service. Yesterday I was in Baltimore on a delayed 4hr layover. The gate was changed without my knowledge. On the loudspeaker system they announced that they were boarding. So I quickly ran to the other side of the airport and went to the gate and they told me I had been cut. Two SW. employees got on the plane after they told me I was cut for not being at the gate early enough and the plane was full. I complained again that there were still people getting on the plane, employees in particular. Then they change the definition of being full, to reach a weight capacity. The plane left the gate 40 minutes later. I was booked on a flight 3 1/2 hours later and watch the staff accommodate several customers calling ahead to hold planes. Southwest airlines is manipulating and deceptive to customers. Several customers witnessed my experience. In addition they take no responsibility for their actions. Please think again before you rely on this airline. read more

No one can predict the weather, I get that. My flight was cancelled. I was given two options to get home. Both included staying over night. No compensation there, but again they cannot predict the weather so no issues, really. A little sympathy and understanding of a not so great situation might have been a little more service friendly, but again not their fault the weather was bad. My question, is the weather clearing, was answered with an absolutely. So trusting the agent actually looked up that info, opted for the early flight at 5 am. Well, that flight got cancelled. So I checked in for the later flight, and will be boarding dead last. I called customer relations asking if they might help with this. Considering I did have section a check in to start with and I based my desision on their information. No , southwest is not in the business to even try for a bit of service related techniques, just defensive reactions to weather issues. Yep, I do get they don't control the weather, but they certainly could, and should control their attitudes to their guests, who chose to fly with them. I no longer will choose SW, due to their lack of guest relations, service and compassion. read more

I used to love love Southwest Airlines. No more. Had 4 flights in one day with them, and the usual cheery crew now turned to be on one of those flights the rudest toward various passengers and also between themselves. Another crew was audibly and visibly filing a complaint with their bosses on a previous crew which left a mess. Unprofessional. The seats on the new planes of SWA are again even more narrow and shorter, so that one can expect that in the next generation the only option will remain to make us passengers fly standing up. Where are the extra discounts for less space and the risk of leg trombosis? Prices are only getting higher and points fewer. The Southwest Early Bird premium one pays to board earlier is a joke, since almost everyone buys it nowadays. So it is a fake promise. take instead the car if you can, or the train. read more

I am a passenger requiring a service animal and am appalled with my treatment by Southwest Airlines. I pay extra for priority boarding and am personally affronted when I am told my service animal precludes me from sitting in the open front seat I paid extra to get. I have been a lifelong southwest flyer but this nonsense is about to make me permanently switch airlines. read more
