Unfortunately, Five Star Ford of Lewisville is terrible about communicating to their service…read morecustomers. My car sat there for five days with absolutely no communication with me as to what was wrong. The did not listen to my issues when I brought it to them. It wouldn't have been half as frustrating if I could have been communicated with. I understand that my service person ended up getting sick, but there was no follow up from anyone else until I contacted the service manager. After five days, I did have it towed from there to a reputable service company who diagnosed the problem quickly (which Ford was not willing to do) and had it repaired in 3 days. I will not be using Five Star Ford of Lewisville service and would not recommend them to anyone else.

That was fine until it was time to actually do the work. You see Zack told my daughter that it was her battery and NOT the TCM even though she had documentation showing the codes for the TCM. Zack told my daughter that he didn't see them codes (after her engine light was OFF). The warranty expired 06/30/25 and Zack told her she'll have to pay out of pocket for the replacement EVEN THOUGH NORTH RICHLAND HILLS sent her there for the replacement. I called Zack and he told me "That's above my pay grade". It's hilarious how they talk to customers.

I Just got off the phone with Jason M. with the Auto Zone on Main here in Lewisville, on Main…read more Jason went above and beyond helping me. I had miss placed my paper work for my battery warranty and wanted to verifier how long it was for. Not as easy as it sounds with no longer have a land line and not using cell number much. Long story short he found the warranty and how long it was for. Gave me some needed advice on the battery. The guys here have always treated like I was their Mom, took care of all needs and question. Remember that a Please & Thank You still goes a long way. Thank You Jason, look forward to seeing you soon. God Bless All

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at this AutoZone. I came in because…read moremy battery wasn't working. The first employee who helped me was polite, tested the battery, and told me it needed to be recharged and retested. I asked if I could simply exchange it, and he seemed willing to help. Then another employee, a woman, stepped in and immediately had a rude, dismissive attitude. She told me they couldn't replace the battery unless it tested as completely dead. I explained that when I tried charging it myself, my charger said the battery was too low to charge. Instead of listening or trying to help, she cut me off and said, "Well, ours doesn't do that." She didn't ask any questions, didn't explain the process respectfully, and barely let me speak. She just took my battery, told me to "come pick it up tomorrow, we close in 20 minutes," and walked away. The entire interaction felt rushed, disrespectful, and like I was an inconvenience for simply asking questions. Customer service should never make people feel like they're bothering employees. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable I just wanted help understanding my options. The difference between the first employee's professionalism and the way she treated me was night and day. I won't be returning to this location unless something changes. Management needs to address how customers are spoken to because no one deserves to be treated with that level of disrespect

Had to call Roadside Assistance to jump it so I could get to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for a new battery before they closed. They said it was the alternator not the battery. Contacted DFW Mobile Repair and Hamm responded immediately with a price quote to fix it. Set up the appointment for mid-afternoon the next day, July 5th (Sunday, on a holiday weekend). Hamm was certainly knowledgeable, and after testing, said it was BOTH the battery and alternator. He replaced the alternator (which he had brought, having had my prior information as to car and model) and then drove to O'Reilly's nearby for a replacement battery which he then installed. In short, Hamm was responsive, capable, courteous and efficient. DFW saved the day (although I lost most of the holiday weekend with the problem!). Pricing wasn't cheap but was competitive I'd say. Give DFW a shot. Their customer service and mechanical work was outstanding. They also have a shop in addition to their mobile repair service. I will certainly consider them for all my future work! I searched Yelp and found DFW Mobile Repair, and I will add my name to the 100+ satisfied customers! I've had the pleasure of working long-term with a couple of great mechanics in other cities. Now, I have the one who will be my third great mechanic here in my new hometown. Hamm worked to squeeze our car into his schedule the same day. He is knowledgeable, professional, punctual, trustworthy, and caring. He diagnosed and fixed the problem. He treated our car like it was his mom's car. And the cost was very reasonable. When I said goodbye to him, I said "Thank you, Dr. Hamm!" He giggled at that, but it's true.

There are 3 people at the counter and only me at another customer at store. Pick up the battery which I ordered online. However, the Hispanic person at the counter said he was busy and can not credit the old battery. Will have to process later. I asked for a receipt for the old battery, he seemed irritated and said it will be processed by the time I get home. Well, it has yet to be done. Most of all, the associate seems to have an attitude with customer. Perhaps, training is needed. I may be checking out competitors and see if I get better service, common courtesy and. Respect.

I ended up trying to purchase it in store 3 more times but they said something was wrong with their computers that day. Because of that, I was unable to get the discounted online price (the whole reason I even purchased it). I went around to get the generator put in my car. Without even trying, 3 workers stood there and stared at my car and said there was no way it would fit in my car. So I had to go around the corner and rent a U-Haul truck for the pickup. Just for the generator to actually be able to fit in my personal car! So the U-Haul was a waste. I ended up needing to return the unopened generator a week later, and I got the craziest run around from the staff. I attempted to return it, but no one knew how to process the return, even though I'd offered to get the customer service rep I'd spoken to earlier on the phone to provide them with clear instructions. They declined. So I brought the generator back to the store today and finally was able to return it. It just felt like the manager, Ryan, was looking to nitpick for reasons to not accept the return but as I mentioned it's completely unused and boxed. His attitude was very uncalled for. I will honestly truly never visit this location again and I probably won't shop at AAP because this was just too difficult of a process.
