The service here is hit or miss. Sometimes I will get great services. Unfortunately, like today, I bought new battery, took my old battery for credit. There are 3 people at the counter and only me at another customer at store. Pick up the battery which I ordered online. However, the Hispanic person at the counter said he was busy and can not credit the old battery. Will have to process later. I asked for a receipt for the old battery, he seemed irritated and said it will be processed by the time I get home. Well, it has yet to be done. Most of all, the associate seems to have an attitude with customer. Perhaps, training is needed. I may be checking out competitors and see if I get better service, common courtesy and. This was such a terrible experience. I've had to deal with the team here for the last two weeks. I purchased a generator online, and when I arrived, they had no trace of my purchase. I ended up trying to purchase it in store 3 more times but they said something was wrong with their computers that day. Because of that, I was unable to get the discounted online price (the whole reason I even purchased it). I went around to get the generator put in my car. Without even trying, 3 workers stood there and stared at my car and said there was no way it would fit in my car. So I had to go around the corner and rent a U-Haul truck for the pickup. Just for the generator to actually be able to fit in my personal car! So the U-Haul was a waste. I ended up needing to return the unopened generator a week later, and I got the craziest run around from the staff. I attempted to return it, but no one knew how to process the return, even though I'd offered to get the customer service rep I'd spoken to earlier on the phone to provide them with clear instructions. They declined. So I brought the generator back to the store today and finally was able to return it. It just felt like the manager, Ryan, was looking to nitpick for reasons to not accept the return but as I mentioned it's completely unused and boxed. His attitude was very uncalled for. I will honestly truly never visit this location again and I probably won't shop at AAP because this was just too difficult of a process. read more

Yesterday I went to change a part because the lock was not the same as the one they gave me and I think the part was wrong but I went to have it changed because they also have a warranty and they never told me before buying it that I needed a real Texas ID to be able to change it or return it and I went to the store only a day had passed and they did not want to change it not even with my passport from my country. I feel like it was racism and they do not give me any other way to do it but the only option is to buy another one even if the part has been wrong. The manager was not helpful at all and very racist. He would only change the part if I had a residence ID and if I wanted to, he would just say I wanted to buy another one without a refund. read more
