This is a response to what the review by Parminderpal aka dr Singh said to my Google review. See the attached pictures for my original google review, and his response, then see my counter below. Firstly, regarding the claim that all MS patients are referred, I must point out that when Parminderpal Singh arrived for my appointment, he stated that he was unaware of the purpose of my visit and claimed he had not seen my referral. This contradiction raises significant concerns about the accuracy of your assurances. Additionally, I found his demeanor to be aggressive and rude, which left me feeling quite intimidated during what should have been a neurological eye exam. If there was any confusion regarding my referral, I would have been more than willing to seek care from a regular ophthalmologist instead through my vision benefits. Furthermore, Mr. Singh's assertion that he could conduct an exam for neurological patients--which, again, was merely a standard eye exam--felt disingenuous. It was alarming to hear him mention the financial pressures faced by the practice, suggesting a potential motive behind the misleading language used in your marketing. Asking, "Would you like glasses today?" is deceptive; the question should clearly state, "Would you like a prescription today?" if that is indeed what you are offering. On the matter of billing, I was informed that my appointment would cost $150 after insurance, a figure I accepted. However, I was subsequently charged additional fees (outside the $50 prescription) that were not communicated upfront. This lack of transparency necessitated my request for an itemized receipt, which, as of now, has yet to be provided. Under legal obligations, it is your responsibility to furnish such documentation upon request. Moreover, if my expectations of being treated with respect, transparency, and dignity are deemed atypical, then it appears that your team may be disconnected from the expectations of contemporary patient care. I firmly believe that every patient deserves to be treated courteously and honestly. While I have shared Google reviews in the past to you stated that I shared only 8 and of 8, five were all 1 star reviews, which is a False statement. I've shared 10 Google Reviews, 5 were 4 stars and above, and the remaining 5 which includes yours between 1-3 stars which outlined my unsatisfactory experiences. I strive to present factual accounts on good experiences as well as bad. Sorry you were the 5th HORRIBLE experience I posted about. But I have to warn others. Especially after looking at your lower reviews, it appears you have a patter of conning your patients out of money through your unclear presentation of prescriptions, causing them to have exams and procedures they didn't need all for your financial gain. My aim is to inform potential patients of potential issues they may encounter in your practice. This also gives you time for reflection and change so you can provide better patient care. Ultimately, while financial concerns were not my primary issue, the absence of transparency and honest communication is paramount. The way patients are treated should reflect integrity and professionalism, and my experience fell short in these regards. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and consider improving your practices moving forward. Please refrain from your racial undertones in your response and your passive aggression and attacks regarding MS patients, especially if you are going to use God to conclude your response! That's tacky. I would recommend you do your compliance courses which you are clearly skipping, so that you don't end up in a lawsuit because of your pride and arrogance. I had the most positive experience beginning with his wonderful staff and the caring staff at the surgery center. The surgery went well on both eyes. The issue is billing!!!! I paid upfront cost of the upgraded lenses. Which I will be reimbursed if I can get detail billing on where the $1190.0 was applied, But that seems impossible for this office. I am receiving bills from Southwest eye, American Eye Institute, and today from another billing office who I have never heard of which is Barnet Dulaney Perkins!!! Who in the hell is that I don't know. But my insurance tells me to pay them nothing until they the doctors office gives statements from all these people. STAY AWAY read more

Little confused with my appointment !! I was referred by my eye doctor to reach out too Southwest Eye for a removal / estimate and insurance evaluation to remove a cyst on my eyelid. When I arrived they performed a full eye test that I already paid for with my eye doctor. The doctor was only interested in doing a eyelid lift. I didn't get the info that I was looking for before I left. All they were interested in was cosmetic surgery. I explained that my appointment was for a cysts. What was frustrating is that they charged my insurance $350.00 and I have no info. It appears to me is that they don't understand what's important to the patient. Not saying that the eye lift is not beneficial and would probably benefit my vision, but that's brought me in... one thing at a time Southwest Eye. read more

Run don't walk! The doctor We had was an arrogant bully. He was also severely lacking in compassion and kindness. He wanted to rush my husband into surgery and called my husband a "fool a waste of his time" when we said we wanted another opinion! Needless to say, we left and went to two other doctors and both said he did not need surgery! His name must be mentioned here but the spelling escapes me. I had cataract surgery with Dr. Singh on both eyes. He explained the process and choice of lens available and his recomendation for me. I did alot of research before I ever entered his office. Once I met and had my consult I felt confident I was in good hands. The results are AMAZING!!! I am seeing 20/20 in both eyes and in my case no glasses. I had my eye appointment for new glasses and eye check back on October 19, 2018. They dilated my eyes before doing my eye check which I told the assistants was having issues seeing close up. Had to go back another day to finish appointment. The issue is I was over billed my portion by $90.00. Here we are going eight months and still being billed another $41.00 dollars plus I've already paid $172.00 and insurance paid.So one one will take the responsibility on correcting this just keep passing it from office to billing. Love our doctor but office to billing needs improvement! Still waiting for refund. Next step I will have to contact a news channel for help. I've been seeing Dr Singh for a chronic condition for years. he's a great doctor- easy to talk to, but also very professional. I've gone to him when i thought i had a problem with my eye, but turns out i'd had a mini stroke - TIA - He is who directed me to go immediately to my PCP - and to not take it lightly - he was very concerned, and continues to ask about those issues when i see him for my other eye problems. I originally went to this office to get a prescription for Restatsis. My insurance would not accept the Rx I had from an Optometrist. They knew why I came, but failed to do a test needed to get the prescription. I had to return to get the additional test and was charged for the visit. Other poor service included: 1. Being called in to see the doctor, then told sorry, there wasn't a room after all, and sent back to the waiting room. 2. Wait times of up to 90 minutes. 3. After finding out what Restatsis would cost, I decided to go with punctal plugs. The doctor said he had them and they were very effective. When having the plugs inserted, I made a small noise because of the pain. (Not loud or prolonged). The Doctor's response was "why are you making noises" with a "what is wrong with you?" attitude. So much for bedside manners. 4. When the plugs didn't work, and I was upset, the doctor explained it was a "process". He reviewed upcoming steps in his "process". He said the next step was Restasis. He kept asking "Do you understand?" Very condescending and rude. He then pulled out a picture to show me what he was saying! I parroted back the information he gave me to convince him I understood. 5. I had wanted to avoid Restasis, because of the cost. After getting a prescription, I found this in their product information: "Increased tear production was not seen in patients currently taking topical anti-inflammatory drugs or using PUNCTAL PLUGS." But it is part of his "process". His process is to take as much money as he can from his patients, not to help them. read more

Dr. Singh has been my Ophthalmologist for the pass 15 years ever since I found out I had glaucoma. He has made sure that I have a very good chance with living the rest of my life without going blind. I see him ever three months. It's a quick test and I am in and out of the office quickly. If you have questions he will talk to you without having that feeling of urgency due to seeing the next patient. He has a sense of humor and I would not dare go to any other doctor. Last year he replaced both my lenses due to cataracts. Before the surgery we had a good conversation with the different replacement options. The surgeries went well with little post surgery pain. I now can see distances without glasses. I went out and bought a expensive pair of sun glasses without a prescription for the first time since I was 14 years old. Dr. Singh is a wonderful top notch doctor who takes the time to listen. I would recommend him highly for treating the condition of dry eye or having cataract surgery. His staff are attentive and professional. Dr. Singh discussed all aspects of my cataract surgery-the best outcome and the worst outcome. I had realistic expectations because of his explanations of the various types of lenses, the procedure and the price. The surgery was successful and I do not need glasses when driving (far distance) and watching TV (mid-distance). In low light I use reading glasses for seeing up close. He continues to monitor my condition of dry eyes and the cataract surgery and looks for any negative changes. Dr. Singh misdiagnosed my husband's toxic burns as over wearing of contacts and prescribed an improper medication. When we returned the next day and the first layer of his eyes were peeling off, Dr. Singh lectured my husband about rubbing his eyes, which of course he had not. Dr. Singh completely ignored the allergic reaction he was having to the medication prescribed the day before. During both visits, although my husband's eyes were swollen shut, Dr. Singh rudely forced him to go through a complete eye exam in the bright room. My husband was in tears and Dr. Singh just kept saying open your eyes. Dr. Singh had little patients and no sympathy. My husband was in a great deal of pain an trying to open his eyes. He had to take his hands and force them open. We found a new doctor who immediately realized my husband was allergic to the medication Dr. Singh prescribed, properly diagnosed his condition and provided the proper medication and who was appalled by Dr. Singh's misdiagnosis and treatment of my husband. The new doctor even dimmed the lights in the room to help my husband's pain and could not believe that he had been forced to complete two full eye exams. Dr. Singh did not listen to my husband. He merely declared that he had abused his contacts when that was not the case. Dr. Singh's care amounted to medical negligence, which caused us unnecessary expense and my husband unnecessary suffering and longer to recovery. read more
