On June 12, 2026 they called while I was in a client meeting and left a voice mail saying they couldn't laminate the poster. I returned their call at 5:33 PM that same day. When I arrived at 7:30pm the store to at least pick up the brochures, I discovered they hadn't even been printed. Unbelievably, the employee at the counter claimed they held up the entire order because they were waiting for the return call I had already made. They told me to call the next day because they might be done. They weren't. On Saturday, after the actual event I needed the laminated poster for had already passed, I went back to the store. The employee admitted the brochures still weren't printed but promised to run them immediately if I waited 20 minutes. I waited in the store for over 20 minutes, only to be approached by a manager named Carlos with a completely different story: they actually had the laminate all along, but someone had broken the machine. I left the store empty-handed yet again...no brochures, which I can still use and no poster (which is now useless to me as the event is over). To top it off, Carlos then asked me to drive back a third time at noon on Sunday just to see if they could get it resolved. This location dragged me along with conflicting stories, empty promises, and endless wasted time. Because of their severe lack of organization and communication, I missed my deadline entirely. I was very impressed and grateful for the outstanding service she gave to us. The small signs were printed perfectly thanks to her help. Days after, four different friends contacted me to say they saw photographs of me holding my sign, in two different newspapers. I was so grateful to Lahela that I went back to Staples to show her the photographs. Unfortunately she wasn't there, but I showed the photos to her coworker. That day, when I asked to convey my complimentary message to her supervisor, I was told that he was busy. I then took a considersble amount of time and wrote a message to the manager, Mr. Yeng, praising Lahela for her outstanding work several days before. My hand written message extended half a full page. I never heard a word from Mr. Yeng but hope that he got my note about Lahela's outstanding service. Last night I needed a very small print and returned to find Lahela. She remembered me! She told me her coworker showed her the photo from the newspaper.
