They are horrible from top to bottom because of their awful management, customer care, accessibility, ease of product understanding and quality. I could hardly understand any of them. most disgusting customer service I've Ever experienced!! the lady working at the print center, rolled her eyes because I asked her to cut some paper I printed and resize them. She rolled her eyes and threw her phone down on the counter after just sitting there on her phone the whole time. she was well over 30 years old, so to be acting like that at her job is crazy. Someone needs to hire a more professional associate. Just walked in to get programs printed and the woman working the printer section was engaging with an elderly man for a long time talking about her personal business as a painter and how she sells at the mall. The cst line started to build up. Once she helped the next customer (who was me), it became a problem. She became flustered and became rude. She yelled saying "there's a check in where everyone has to check in!" I asked her where the check in sign was and she pointed me that it was behind the Coca Cola machine. Far away from where the line starts and where we enter into the store. Maybe put the sign where it's clearly visible to csts if that's something you're going to trip over She was not helpful at all! She was curt with the elderly woman behind me as well I always come here to have my programs printed There use to be a really nice and extremely helpful manager that worked behind the print counter. When exactly did customer service die? I had an order that I purchased online and had to pick up from the kiosk, it's a backpack for my son who ripped his. I arrived at the store a couple of minutes after closing, and got the attention of one of the employees. Instead of talking to me, she just kept waiving her hands and saying no because she didn't want to do a little bit extra to help me out. Even if the conversation was, "I'm sorry, but it's against the stores safety policy for me to open the doors after closing" or something to explain it, but instead her actions were very disrespectful, rude and dismissive as if I didn't matter enough to speak through a door to. I am so frustrated from this situation, if I had been there two minutes previous, I would've just walked in the door and grabbed it myself, nothing had to be done with the register or the package itself, it just needed to be pick up, so why is doing a little bit extra for a customer, now a thing of past? read more

I went today, Nov 23, 2020 this afternoon to make just one copy and was rudely asked where my mask was. I explained I am unable to wear one due to my medical reasons and still was told by three employees that I can NOT make a copy, not even by myself. I was even okay with social distancing since the facility is large enough to accommodate both masked individuals and people who are unable to wear a mask. I feel I was being discriminated against because I've gone to another OfficeMax last week and they allowed me in without a mask due to my medical circumstances. It's seems the three employees don't care if a person suffers from anxiety, a Traumatic Brain Injury, nor past coma and with a tracheotomy ... so i can not wear such said mask over my nose and face. Instead they went against my constitutional rights and medical condition to shame me outloud and told me to leave.! This is unexceptionable, I expect to be treated like any other customer even if I am unable to wear a mask on my face. There is no excuse to treat people that suffer from a medical condition this way when all that I wanted is to make a single copy at your store. read more

I had an incredible experience using the printing service at Office Max. Veronica is an amazing person and I hope her manager knows what an asset she is to the company. I needed some material for a funeral service printed and she took extra care to make sure she understood exactly what I needed and that it came out perfectly. Which it did. I went there to use their fedex location. There was 3 old ladies waiting on line and the only employee on duty behind the counter was this woman name Ziva that spend talking with the first 2 old ladies 20 minutes, after that she greeted the second old lady spend about 10 minutes with her as soon as she was done with her I approached the counter and to my surprise she ignored me and called some one by name as being the next person. I said excuse me but I was next she replied in a very rude way "You did not sign in and he did!" I said he was not here while I was waiting he just came in" she said "it does not matter you did not sign in!" none of the old ladies in front me signed in and that is probably because there is nothing there that alert you to sign in and that's the way they force you to do it and they did not know about signing in as well as I did not know there is a monitor that you don't notice to sign in. She force me to sign in she was very rude, not very friendly and she acted like she was doing me a favor. She was not I got the power of my money and I choose in what business I spend my money. Money that OfficeMax use to pay their employees, their expenses and the executive high salaries. OfficeMax without the customers spending their money won't exist. There are only 2 employees it seems and both are entirely useless. One stands at the register and the other usually disappears. I want to compliment Emily and Brenda. They give such excellent customer service. They are friendly and knowledgeable as well as efficient. I have been coming in every week for nearly 5 years with the same order. They know just what I need and are quick to accomplish it. Today, 3/22/23 at 6:15pm, I took my weekly church bulletin order in. I always put this order in on Wednesdays because I am out of town on Thursdays and Fridays. I pick this order up on Saturdays when I return home. Our church pays approximately $600.00 per month to Office Max for these orders. When I arrived, I found a sign that says the print shop was closed at 4:00 today. (HOW WAS I TO KNOW THIS?) The woman whom I had never seen before behind the counter, who told me she was the manager, was working on an order that needed to be done. I asked her for a piece of paper. She said that they don't give free paper. I found a scrap of paper in a trash can. I wrote a note to Emily so that I could leave my order. I told Emily I would pay or this order when I picked up. When I had finished, I placed my order with the instructions on the counter behind the gate. This woman called me back and refused to accept my order without payment because "things had changed" and I must pay for the order ahead of time as I always have done. But the area was closed so I could not pay. I told her I would have to come in Saturday and wait for the order to be done. She said that would not be possible. They don't do orders while people wait. In other words, she was not helpful to me at all and actually argumentative. She could have cared less if my order was filled or not--- let alone make money for Office Max. Before I retired, I was a manager. I feel it is important that you know when your company is not being represented well. read more

Worst experience with printing ever. Wrong size poster printed. I believe girls name was possibly Misty, acted like it was my fault. She ran off new poster, laid across counter, said there. Really???? I had to roll up and request and search for a rubber band!! Don't bother if looking for printing or customer service. Look elsewhere. Her attitude was horrible. I took my computer in to check for virus and they said " yes it has virus and this computer is too old and slow. "You need a new one". Since then I have had it cleaned and Avast said it was fine. Not impressed!! read more

I am disappointed...nay, mad. I looked for a pack & ship service that is open Sunday. I was happy when I saw that the local Office Max offered pack and ship, with either USPS or FedEx as the carrier. I brought my heavy-ass box into the store, where I was met at the shop counter by a lady with a scowl. So, needless to say, I'm already expecting the best (she says with sarcasm laid on thick). Not only do they not pack, but they only offer FedEx. She told me that I can go in the aisle and buy packing stuff myself. Um, that's not what the website advertises all over it. This location is pretty old but sometimes has what we are looking for. I just had to comment on the filthy looking carts that I decided not to touch and decided to carry a basket instead. DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER FROM OFFICE MAX! I bought a Dell Computer at this store just to find out that 2 1/2 months later the mother board goes out. Office Max doesn't care and bears no responsibility just wants to pass the buck onto Dell with zero resolve. I was told "not our problem", I guess when you take the chance of buying a large purchase and one you bank on to run your business at Office Max you take the risk of getting sub-par equipment. Literally the worst costumer service. Yeng the manager is 100% the worst. He cares nothing about the customer. I stood waiting at the counter waiting to get a notebook spiral bounded for about 5 minutes until he even acknowledged me. There was another customer but she was being helped by another employee. All I wanted was about 100 pages spiral bounded and he told me it was take 24-48 hours to get it done. It would take no more than 5 minutes to do this job, but all he kept telling me was there was too many projects in front of me when he was clearly not working on anything. In the end I will be taking my business to Fedex where they can spiral bind a notebook right then and there in 5 minutes. It may be an extra 5 minute drive for me but worth the drive to be treated with extra care. This place doesn't even deserve one star. Yeng you need to work on your customer service skills. It's about going above and beyond for the customer, clearly you haven't been trained right. Good luck. read more
