I have purchased two pieces from Copenhagen Imports and I want to start with the quality of the furniture. I purchased a bedroom set and media center. Both pieces are sturdy and well made. When I went to purchase the pieces the sales folks are not very sales like, in a good way, and they are very helpful. They don't stand around you like vultures, but they are close enough to answer questions. Now, if I could give an additional star I would. I recently moved and my bedroom frame was a little shaky. I contacted Copenhagen support and Diane helped schedule Pascal. Pascal arrived, was very polite, and they fixed the bed. No questions asked. Great furniture, but better service and support. We purchased several pieces from Copenhagen Imports and initially had a positive experience. Our salesperson was helpful during our visit, and we placed an order for a bedroom set. A few days later, we called back to add two living room items to the order, referencing the product numbers directly from their website. We also opted for their "white glove delivery" service. Unfortunately, the delivery process was disappointing. The delivery team first called but claimed they couldn't locate our order. When they eventually arrived, they brought the wrong furniture. When we reached out to our salesperson, she implied that we had provided the wrong item numbers--even though we had read them directly from their website. It was later confirmed that the correct pieces had been ordered, but the wrong items were delivered. To make matters worse, the delivery experience fell far short of "white glove." The incorrect items were incomplete and missing parts. Although we understood that they couldn't hang the mirror we ordered (due to liability concerns), the mounting hardware included was extremely cheap and of poor quality. We then had to wait over a week to receive the correct item. When the replacement was finally scheduled for delivery, we were told we owed an additional $38--without any clear explanation, despite the original order being accurate. I paid the amount but let our salesperson know I was very dissatisfied with the overall experience. Going forward, I will likely look elsewhere for furniture. read more

Great furniture; customer service not so great. I was surprised when the salesperson in Gilbert told us to choose what we like and call them to order it. We purchased a sectional couch and a chair with an ottoman. We made it clear that we would be back for dining room furniture, a television console and furniture for three bedrooms. On our third visit we asked for a small discount and were greeted with a solid no. Today we drove over to the Scottsdale location and were thrilled with our experience. After checking our account we were offered free delivery without even asking and the current promotion left us with a credit to use for future purchases. We bought our dining room table with six chairs. Looking forward to dealing with Copenhagen for many years to come but will avoid the Gilbert location for the time being *The Gilbert manager was 'consulted' for a discount while we waited for over 20 minutes. Beautiful store, the furniture was high quality but the service was lacking. You are definitely judged by your appearance the moment you walk in the door. There were two receptionists at the front and at least two sales people walking the floor. There was one other family in the store, the sales people didn't say a word to us. We walked the entire store without being addressed and when we were leaving all of the employees were gathered at the front talking to each other. My husband said "excellent customer service guys" and one of the sales people said "thank you have a great day". My husband stopped and let him know he missed the point of the comment and we walked out with our cash in hand and went directly to a competitor who wanted our business to make our purchase. read more

I have been a Copenhagen customer for years. I was a bit disappointed when I learned they changed locations from Tempe to Gilbert, but the new showroom in Gilbert is AWESOME!!! The selection at the new location makes comparisons and shopping for the right item easy. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly, and the delivery people were prompt and professional. We recently purchased a Stressless brand power loveseat from the Gilbert Copenhagen store. I called the store and talked to Robert, who told me they had the one I had seen online on display in the store. The display model was not available for purchase, so he checked their inventory and let me know that the one I wanted was available in their warehouse--no need to order one and wait for it. We went to the store, loved the piece, and purchased it. It was delivered a few days later and installed by two knowledgable and helpful men.
