Hidden gem! Small town feel but big city flavor and talent. Appetizer had the potato skins and they are a must. Be prepared to shared. A glorious amount of bacon. Street tacos with the steak was by far the best I've ever enjoyed. Steak was plentiful and seriously incredible. (I'm not being paid for this review lol) it was just so good I had to share. My dining bud had the chicken Cesar wrap. The amount of chicken was unlike I've ever seen. The tot side was ridiculous. It was over flowing! So darn good. Our server was on point! We were in southwick around dinner time and were super hungry so decided to stop into the southwick inn for a bite. I had a draught beer and ordered the steak sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich was really good with cheese, onions, peppers, and mushrooms on roll. The onion rings were very good as well. Our server (the bartender) was super nice and helpful. We met some friends there last night and had a great time. Acoustic night entertainment was varied and a lot of fun - food and drinks were very good and our waiter. Lee was excellent. First time visit and the food was very good. I got the broccoli and chicken Alfredo and my husband the buttermilk chicken and fries. Both were quality and tasted great. The service as good and the servers were friendly. It's definitely a neighborhood type pub/tavern atmosphere but the regulars were welcoming and so much fun. A great place to chill out with good company and good food. They also have entertainment which you can find on their website. Give this place a try!! read more

Good Place for a Local Benefit Banquet. They held a recovery benefit for a colleagues wife recovering from a horrific SUV / Tractor Trailer accident. The Inn did a great job with set-up and hot buffet. The cash bar was well stocked and a very friendly and attentive barkeep. They ran a nice raffle program too. The local musicians they hired were good but just a little bit too loud for normal conversation. Easy access and ample parking. read more

After a long day at work and an unexpected flooded basement we were looking for a later than normal take out option. All 3 adults ordered the chicken piccata which was reasonably priced and a generous tasty portion. The bruschetta was absolutely refreshing and delicious. The guilty pleasure of the fried pickle chips were cooked to perfection and nice& crisp. While this is a wonderful local watering hole staple of our community with great bands, the food is delicious and the quality shows! Looking forward to our next order/ visit... Stopped there on Saturday night for couple of drinks and dinner . I haven't been there in many years . Very nice inside and very cold draft beer . The place wasn't crowded yet and from what I heard a band was expected later . Great bunch of people working the bar and real personal service . The kitchen crew brought the food out and checked back several times to make sure everything was great and it was . My order was the Inn Burger with fries for $ 12 . This was absolutely huge and really good . I was so full that it was impossible to finish the fries. No problems with any of the dinner orders . We definitely will be going back there . I was driving through Southwick the other day when I came across The Southwick Inn. I had heard from a friend that they had awesome burgers, so I decided to stop and grab a bite. I sat down at a table and was greeted by one of the bar tenders. She was wicked nice and very helpful. After exploring the menu I decided on The Girl Next Door Burger. I was blown away! Candied pepper bacon, havarti cheese crispy onion straws and maple aioli, omg I'm still thinking about it. One of the best parts was that the chef brought my food out to me. I'm looking forward to stopping by the Southwick Inn again soon. If Southwick is out of your way you should make this a destination. Very worth it!!! read more

First time and it won't be my last. Relaxing bar vibe and you have to try the food. Current chef really knows his stuff, they have daily specials, and you can tell he is passionate about what he serves. Margarita pizza was freshly done and the home made orange marmalade sauce along side the sweet coconut shrimp is a must. read more

A glass got broken on the dance floor and as we were trying to push the glass out of the way, our drinks were ripped straight out of our hands and the cops were called. The bartender accused us of stepping on the glass and refused to let us pay our bill. Total nightmare and complete over reaction. I would hate to see what would happen if there was an actual issue there because the bartenders were complete instigators. Who instigates when people are drinking and having a good time? read more

This place used to be great. USED TO. The bartenders are as miserable as it gets. You walk in and you immediately get that feeling like your bothering the bartender by being there. You ask for a beer and they act like they need to move heaven and earth to pour it. I remember the days when you could walk in get a smile and a hi how are you and be treated excellent. Those days are long gone. I over heard a conversation that the rude bartender was the owners friend so that makes sense that she hasn't been removed yet. This problem could be corrected by management but they refuse to do so. What a shame. I know 40-50 people who have said they will never be back and 15 of them were regulars. I have been going to the inn for a while now. My times are now coming to an end. Food and drinks are great but I was recently there and I was appalled by the attitude of the bartender, Sara. This girl messed up my drink not once, but FOUR times and not ONCE bothered to apologize. Each time I told her there was a mistake she huffed and said "what now?!" After finishing my first drink, I watched Sara play on her phone for over five minutes before asking myself or anyone else at the bar if they needed anything. Her better than everyone attitude will surely lead me in the direction of another place to have drinks. Upsetting that the southwick inn would hire these types of people! read more
