This is a great shop!!! The owner is so kind and they do great work. I was side swiped and a driver took off the front bumper of my vehicle and there were a few other damages to the side panels. They work with your insurance and my car was fixed pretty quickly. They also coordinate transportation to and from the nearest rental. Highly recommend it! read more

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! Oh my word. Is this real life? Barron is absolutely phenomenal. I ran into a cement pole in my parking garage and managed to mutilate the entire right side of my car. Barron and his team fixed her right up and she looks good as new. Honestly words can't explain how satisfied I am. This is the worst auto body I have ever used and the owner Barron has serious issues. Barron called me one night swearing at me and then claimed he didn't and proceeded to beg me not to tell anyone because he didn't want his wife to find out he swore at me. He also tried telling me I was mentally unstable and imagined his unprofessionalism. When I got into my accident a nice firefighter recommended an auto body for my luxury car and the tow truck driver bashed the place and recommended taking my car to Southwinds. I found out why later on when they tried to double bill my insurance for towing and took over $1500 from me stating insurance didn't cover additional costs when initially he agreed to cover my deductible with repair money. Upon picking up the car I inspected it in the dark garage and did not notice how bad the paint job was because it was the passenger side, plus after 7 months I just wanted my car back. I have put less than 1,000 miles on the car in three years and have found parts missing (like no brake light bulb, driver's side wind deflector missing, and other protective plastics or plastic screws missing from the engine bay and trunk) that should have been replaced. When replacing my missing brake light bulb I noticed the whole tail light carrier was bad. I have had three professionals look at my car and tell me it's a terrible paint job and the surface was not cleaned beforehand. He took OEM Porsche parts out of my car and replaced them with cheap parts, my suspension sounds and feels awful. Literally anything he touched has needed to be replaced. read more

I am very very disappointed since agreement was not delivered at the time job was "completed". I had 3 estimates and I regret my decision to choose Southwinds. so I accidentally hit my can with a frirehydrent. the door had a little dent from this incident but all good. Two days later a friend of mine accidentally hits the front part of my car. The fender, as I quickly found out it the name for this car part, was messed up. so my friend and I agreed to try and get estimates to fix the car so we wouldnt have to deal with the insurance perks. To make a long story short, I went to about 3 -4 places and they all gave me around the same estimate. UNTILL, I found Pete. By accident I was actually heading to anothe body shop, I found Southwinds where I met Peter. What a nice guy!! He fixed all my car and washed it for half the price of all of the other places I tried. Oh my god!! Thank you Peter!! read more

For many years, I have used Southwinds auto body for minor and major repairs and they have been great. I have also recommended them to others and got great feedback on their experiences. The body work and paint are of great quality and have never had any issues. The owner stands up for you to do a quality repairs even when the insurance companies want to go cheap. He is honest and straight forward. Prices are reasonable for cash pay as well. Also, he has the same trained and certified frame body tech for 15+ years. I highly recommend Southwinds auto body.
