Disappointed! Food is really good, however their service is not and they lost business from my company. Called in an order and It came 2 HOURS LATER! We were told an hour( we know this cause we ordered all the time). I called after an hour and 15 mins, they said it'll be there in a few mins. Joke was on us...not for another 45 mins. If I could give 0 stars I would. Placed an order on grubhub at 6:30. 8:00 rolls around and no food. Called them and they said it'll be there in 30 minutes without even asking me for my order info. Called back and asked for a status update specifically. They took my phone number and said they would call back. Never did. I called them back to cancel the order and they said that the delivery guy just left and the food would be there in one minute. I said I didn't believe them because they told me that an hour ago and I wanted my order canceled because 2 hours for Chinese food is unacceptable. She hung up on me. Called grubhub. this place should get 5 stars based on the food alone. however, i have to say that the service here is honestly horrible. i have contemplated not ordering from here anymore because the employees are rude and inconsiderate. once, i had to yell at one of the delivery men because he was incessantly banging on my front door, so much so that it startled me. another time, i placed an order online and it took them an hour and a half just to call me back to say they were closed and couldn't place the order. a third time, i placed an order and purposefully selected the delivery time to be 6:30. however, they called me at 4:30 and asked to deliver my order because they had already made it. if the food weren't as good as it is, i would definitely no longer come here. read more

I am giving this restaurant 1 star since 0 is not an option. I ordered online for my family and guests. About 1 hour after the order was placed, I called to check the status. I was asked for my address, and assured the food was on its way. About 30 min later, having not received the food I called again. After giving my phone number, I was told the driver was on his way. We waited patiently about 30 more minutes before calling again. This time I insisted that the women call the driver. She did some investigation on her end to find that she had NO record of my order. When calling the restaraunt they are extrememly rude, say "it's on it's way" without checking your order, and then hang up on you. We tried this a second time and it was even worse. The delivery service was a full half hour behind, which is a BIG deal when you're ordering while at work and have a scheduled lunch hour. Secondly, I called ahead to see what was in a dish (I cannot have animal products). When it arrived it had both egg and tofu in it (I avoid tofu due to soy issues). NEITHER one of these ingredients was disclosed. I no longer trust that the broth used was vegetable based either, so I'm not eating any of the food ordered. They claim to be sensitive to allergies, but can't even speak enough English to understand the questions you're asking, or able to answer questions properly. I love that not everything is drowned in a honey based sauce like so many other places. So much better than the usual Chinese takeouts in the area. I love the beef & string beans--beans are slightly charred (delicious) and sauce is slightly spicy. Best thing I've had in ages.I'd prefer a little more sauce with it to moisten the rice but it's still great. Their wonton soup is flavorful and the egg drop has corn kernels in it--tasty. Husband loves the chicken Pad Thai. We pick up our orders. Parking is in back and you have to walk around to the front. A bit inconvenient but I'll deal with it to get the good food. read more

I like that the dishes I've ordered aren't soaking in greasy sauces like most Chinese food places around the area. I've actually seen the kitchen and it looks very clean. Possibly one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever had. Steamed dumplings were doughy and tasteless. For my main dish, I had the Thai Casserole which was described as chicken, prawn in Thai coconut curry with lemongrass and Thai basil. Sounds good, huh? A sloppy, greasy mess with no taste of coconut, lemongrass or Thai basil. In fact, it didn't have much taste at all. What flavor there was, I could not identify it and didn't like. The chicken was sliced into flat slices which were overcooked and tough. The sauce was thick with grease. There wasn't even that enticing aroma to it that Chinese food has when you're doing take-out and the aroma fills the car and you can't wait to get home. The only positive thing I can say is that the prawns were ok. Fortunately, I asked for chopsticks because they had not put any into the bag. When I got home and opened the bag, they hadn't even included a menu!! Maybe, they don't expect return customers. I used to go to the China Garden across the street, but had stopped a few years ago when their food went south. Ate a few of the dumplings and some of the main dish and threw the rest into the trash including the rice and for this I spent $20.00. I would have been better served to burn the twenty dollars and saved myself the trip to Livingston. read more

Their food is absolutely delicious and the best in the area. It's chinese but different. It's always tasty and fresh.... and most of all I never get disappointed (you know how sometimes the same dish tastes different?). I really am not sure where these reviewers who complain about how the food tastes bad have eaten bc it makes absolutely no sense. In New York and New Jersey this is the best Chinese food place hands down. Again it's a spin on the typical Chinese food category with fresh ingredients. Prices are high but justified by the quality and taste of the food. I can see how people can complain about Customer service but then just pick it up yourself instead of waiting for them to drop it off. Yes they are always super busy but that's because their food is sooooo good. And yes sometimes the lady in the front can be rude (not always) but I am going to attribute that to the culture. In addition, if they were set up as a fancy cuisine restaurant their food would undoubtedly be a successful fit. Yea it's a small take out place but it's not the typical (sometimes not so clean) Chinese take out place. We used to try other places but for the past almost 3 years, this is our regular spot. We order ALOT from here and it has never been a disappointment. I am willing to deal with a little delay or tired attitude tone to get food this good all the time bc it's definitely hard to come by.
