I love gifting unique cards and supporting a small business is always nice. I've also taken a calligraphy class with the artist, Pearl. Her energy was contagious -- so passionate, patient, and incredibly skilled. She made the class very approachable, even for total beginners like me. Pearl broke down each step in a way that made it fun and not intimidating at all. The class was intimate and educational. The calligraphy kit she gave us to take home was such a treat! I put my new skills to the test by making place cards for a dinner party I hosted a few weeks later and they turned out great. I loved the materials she used and am looking forward to addressing this year's holiday cards using calligraphy! If you've ever been even slightly curious about calligraphy -- take pearl's class! It's joyful, calming, creatively fulfilling, and just plain FUN.

I arrived Wednesday evening to pick the prints and was told scornfully "I told you Thursday or Friday" . The man was not only wrong but very combative in his tone and language. I can understand if the prints were not made by the set pickup date but I can not understand the need to act defensively and the attempt to shift blame onto me, the paying client. The man told me I could come back Thursday and I asked if he was positive and he confirmed. He said he would text me when they were done and I left. I walked in Thursday afternoon and the man said "you're here to pick up the prints aren't you, I told you Thursday or Friday and that I would text you". He wasn't apologetic he was annoyed. I countered he confirmed they would be ready Thursday and he became even more argumentative and dismissive. Regardless of the pick up times that were argued, this is extremely poor customer service. I paid in advance for a service which was not rendered in the agreed upon timeframe and instead of being accommodating or at the least kind about it I was met with contempt and made to feel like I was an annoyance. This is inexcusable. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

She is very talented and worked with my wife throughout the entire process going over fonts/colors and ensuring everything came out exactly the way we envisioned. Her customer service was also extremely impressive. She was very responsive, easy to work with, and very accommodating with unique requests. We used fragile sea shells for escort cards (and had some last minute seating changes), and Gabby did an amazing job on that project - even repackaging the shells perfectly in a box with layers of bubble wrap for us to transport to the venue. Gabby is very talented and you can tell she truly cares about her work and making sure her clients get exactly what they need. I would recommend her to anyone. If we ever need any calligraphy in the future, we will be repeat customers!

Also- This is NOT a criticism as accidents happen but the handling deserves praise: several months ago with a different team, a cable in my husbands office was accidentally damaged during cleaning and the service was quick in their response remedy the error and it was handled professionally and quickly. Again, accidents happen, but the response was so professional and appreciated and we have never had an issue since. Would absolutely recommend! Especially if you have pets or kids :)
