Fully booked during our stay at the hotel, which mind you is over 1500 per night. They really need to prioritize time for hotel guests.

She finds the spots in my body that are tight or tense without me even having to tell her. And she's so kind, present, and passionate about what she does. You can tell that she really cares about her clients and she wants to make sure you are comfortable. I can't recommend her highly enough. I also did the 6 week hypnotherapy series with Robert and it was a game changer for me. I was previously experiencing a lot of anxiety, frustration, and stress. It became obvious to me that something needed to change and I've previously tried different method of healing (therapy, journaling, meditation, etc) so why not give hypnotherapy a shot. Robert helped me to learn that relaxation is our natural state and how to help myself calm down if I am feeling overwhelmed. He helped me realize that I can change. Honestly I'm a more present parent and I feel happier and healthier overall.

From the lush, vibrant garden (hands down the most beautiful I've ever seen) to the peaceful meadows filled with wild deer and turkeys roaming freely, every inch of this place radiates natural beauty and serenity. My partner and I came here to unwind, and we left feeling deeply nourished, inspired, and recharged. We had some profound creative breakthroughs during our stay, and were finally able to get the kind of rest our bodies and minds were craving. Our dogs were in absolute heaven too, especially swimming in the river nearby! But what made this place truly unforgettable was the people. The hosts are warm, genuine, and full of heart. You can feel how much love and intention has been poured into this land and community. It felt like we were welcomed into a sacred little sanctuary, and we're already dreaming of our next visit. If you're looking for a healing, grounding, soul-expanding getaway, this is it. Thank you to everyone at The Land for creating such a special space. We'll be back soon.

I went back recently after visiting many other types of religious organizations and wanted to offer my thoughts. Disclaimer: Metaphysical New Thought stuff doesn't personally appeal much to me, but that has no bearing on my review. The music was great and the sanctuary space is beautiful! The speaker gave a wonderful talk that I felt like would resonate with people of many backgrounds! It was a little bit sleepy, but maybe that's just because I went during the 9am service. The congregants may not have the same outward enthusiasm as some of the practitioners at many Christian churches, but that was okay, it was a service about peace after all. My main critique comes from the system of classes they have. It was frustrating to me, as someone coming from the UU church for the past year, the way that everyone is encouraged to take classes that can cost up to a few hundred dollars just to be a part of what is essentially a spiritual book club. That gave it almost a pyramid scheme feeling as congregants spend hundreds to become prayer practitioners (people who can pray for you or help you pray) and experts in new thought philosophy or in a combination of other religious ideas, especially from Eastern religions. Most churches have bible studies or other book groups, and fellowship opportunities open to any members, but it seems that here they're either one-on-one meetings with staff members or paid opportunities-- which may only be waived if you have the intention on becoming a staff member. Great little spot, but I'm not sure it would facilitate the same level of comradery and friendship among members as other spiritualist communities.

I don't wish to be negative, but I do feel, especially in times like these, that it's important to be honest and authentic. Small "elitisms" (if you will), are part of a larger dynamic. If you need miracles and healing... this is where to go…read more I highly recommend it. My family and I have done many blissful healing retreats at Shambhala. It feels like Heaven~On~Earth. It's located on a peaceful, pristine mountaintop. We have done many advanced healing treatments here. And we have always experienced healing miracles and blessings beyond our wildest imaginations. 1. Soul Therapy~ 1 Hour spent in total relaxation, inside a breathtakingly beautiful pyramid covered in sacred healing crystals... to me it feels like floating/suspended in the most loving peaceful stillness found anywhere... feels like I'm ONE with God. This can also be done remotely as a distance treatment. 2. AST- Advanced Soul Therapy~ A six week distance-energetic healing treatment backed up with an individualized homeopathic remedy. WOW. You can order and experience this from anywhere in the world--as it's a distance energetic healing treatment broadcast daily from a cutting edge device, directly to you. Great Value! I've done this 3 times so far and I look forward to doing many more. My children have also done it several times with excellent results. So many benefits and improvements--physically, spiritually and mentally. I felt my cells tingling everywhere in my body...even deep in my toes, etc. It felt like my very DNA was changing and my body was "waking up" and healing profoundly at the cellular level. I have seen and experienced real miracles with this treatment! 3. BWO- Brainwave Optimization Intensives/Retreats/Sessions~ My friends, children and I have done this many, many times. This is a proven treatment that heals the brain profoundly. My family had endured long-term crisis and harm in our past and we all had chronic PTSD, and debilitating conditions. This is such an easy and non-invasive holistic healing approach that nets HUGE results. It is cutting edge and highly effective. Severe trauma creates brain damage-"trenches"/ingrained patterns/habits in the brain-personality-body... this technique actually heals those patterns at the source-- the brain-- This treatment creates healthy new neural pathways in the brain. For me, it produced new calmer, more grounded, mindful behaviors & inner PEACE. I know of no other treatment on Earth that produces these results. And it's easy & utterly relaxing. You just lay back... relaxed & comfortable... in a zero gravity chair with eyes closed and listen to "musical" tones that produce a deep meditative state; as your brain basically receives the pattern to heal itself. I continued to heal and feel the benefits increase and improve even after the treatments ended and I went home! I felt improvements increase for weeks and months afterward. I continued to feel calmer, happier, & more like my real self. I noticed anti-aging benefits too: like improved hormonal levels, & many physical results that looked and felt more youthful. It led to my desired goal, which is: ease and grace within myself and my life. And the rehabilitation and healing of myself & my children. 4. Worldwide~Online~Group OM Meditations for Peace on Earth are broadcast Live each week from here~ I do every one of these. Even my children do these meditations. Please consider joining in-online- with this worldwide group to receive a profound healing for yourself, Earth and all humanity. When we are united~ this is how we can help end all suffering on Earth--end all wars--save the children and uplift poverty. So easy. You can do it from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. I no longer feel powerless to make real change and help uplift all the suffering on Earth. Because that is what this meditation does when we collectively OM for the benefit & healing of all mankind. 5. Meditation & Healing Tools~ The tools & pendants are handcrafted in sacred geometric form. Quantum Physics= Quantum Healing. These hand-held tools, pyramids, pendants, and large forms are so beautiful and feel calming to wear, look at, and hold. Using them puts me into deeply beautiful healing & meditative states... I can feel them vibrating and transmitting light & golden energy into me on the highest vibrational levels. I experience complete DEEP peace~ like I've never known or found anywhere else. Profound 6. Meditation & Healing Retreats/Dharshan Teachings/and more ~ Everything this Center provides is highly effective, peaceful, healing, transformative, cutting edge and relaxing. The meals are highly conscious & delicious. The whole place is enchanting, quiet, private & gated. There you will find a farm/gardens/peaceful fountains & peacocks--where kindness abounds. They milk their lovely cow, have a yak heard, baby animals & so much nature~ all surrounded within a pristine quiet forest full of wildlife on a mountaintop in one of the most ancient locations on Earth....Truly Divine! You won't find anything like this anywhere else in the world. I searched the whole planet... this is what I was looking for.

Here's an update almost a decade after my last review…read more This Place never was finished and is still not open to the public. The empty promise of a retreat and healing center just never came to fruition. On the surface it looks cool with domes, pyramids, crystals, etc. Unfortunately it's a moldy facade of a monastery that's become a strange almost eerie place. Lacking vitality and any clear direction the droning music playing with the staff that appears nice with platitudes and word salad nonsense makes this fringe group and reality even more strange. Not a place I would recommend on any level, Buddhist ? NO not really. Christian- NOPE not Truly. NEW AGE Nonsense where you can give away your hard earned $ $ $ $ $ $ Not a welcoming place or group unless you want to be told what to wear & eat & act and that Gays are Evil etc. All and All weird, strange & Fanatical. Took a good long time to realize what was really going on here, AVOID going down this rabbit hole This is not my spiritual cup of Tea, thumbs down

I was interested in mediation instruction that would be free of religious dogma (hence my seeking a referral from the Harris website) and that was focused on meditation technique. I have found the Center to be exactly that. If a philosophical or religious concept is mentioned, it is quickly followed by the admonition not to accept any concept that is not evidence based, or does not make sense to you. The retreats at the Center have been a huge benefit to my practice (in fact, I hesitate to describe my meditation efforts before my first retreat as "practice". They were more like mind wandering sessions.). The Center is in a beutiful setting in the woods outside of Kelseyville. The accomodations are simple as they should be, but provide all that you need to facilitate mediation (the meals are excellent, btw). The entire staff is exemplerary and are fully dedicated to furthering the practice of attendees. Very worth noting - the business model for the Vipassana Centers is unmatched - all the retreats and courses, meals and lodging included, are free (the centers charges absolutely nothing for any of their services). The centers are supported solely through donations from, and the volunteer work of, people who have attended instruction. Regardless of whether one donates or later volunteers time, all are welcome back to attend retreats as long as they like (there is no means testing. People donate whatever they can afford, or wish to, or they are free not to donate at all. As far as I can tell, the donations are anonymous and not even tracked by the organization). I am not aware of any other organization that can match this demonstration of sincerity and authenticity. Finally, it is recomended that new students attend a 10 day silent retreat. This can seem very daunting for a beginning mediatator. Before my attendance, I was very uncertain that I would make it through 10 days and considered a shorter option. But attending the 10 day was one of the best things I have ever done. The first few days may be a bit difficult, but for me, the longer stay was necessary to get through those early days and to start realizing real results. I am now looking forward to my fourth 10 day retreat and actually find that the time at each retreat passes too quickly.

Best experience I have ever had meditating and slowing down... everyone should go to this!read more
