Quality workmanship, done quickly but not rushed. Had to get a mani-pedi for a photo shoot, they did not disappoint.

Just left my 9a appointment. I put 2 hours on the meter and to my surprise, I could have saved money by only doing 1hr and 15mins. Quickest no chip and pedicure EVER. Michelle was my technician. I DO NOT recommend. It was rushed.....every piece was rushed. She seemed annoyed that my previous no chip didn't easily come off. My hands weren't soaked, my nails are crooked and my cuticles look the same way they did when I walked in even though she asked if she could cut them and I said yes. I only came here because my normal place was booked for today. I will be be coming back. read more

Nice place that was cozy and welcoming. The pedicure was totally fine and my toes look nice. But not the rest of my rough feet. Little to no work on removing the callous spots. And No massage on the legs and feet which is what I truly love about a pedi. We were in and out in under 25 min. Not my idea of a spa treatment or worth the $35. read more

Most nail salon have receptions at front. But this place is nobody there. After 5 min someone came to me but no English . Not professional no English probably no license too. Would Never recommend lousy place read more

I went for a pedicure and it got the job done, but she made me bleed and really didn't address it. I felt like she was a little aggressive with the filing and scrubbing. I would probably go back because everyone there was nice enough and my toes looked really nice when it was all said and done. Also the atmosphere is enjoyable. read more

I have gone to Spa Dabin since they opened but my most recent visit will be my last. My daughter and I had appointments at 3 on a Sunday afternoon. My manicure was fine and her mani/pedi started out fine. It began to get very busy with walk in's and my daughter was in the middle of a pedicure and still needed a manicure. My manicure was almost finished. I guess they didn't want the walk in's to walk out so they did a very rushed and sloppy job on her services. Whether someone is a long time customer or a new customer, services should be completed carefully even though there are customers waiting. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I recently discovered this place in my search for high quality service at reasonable prices. It's a bit of a hike for me, but it's worth it. Lana is extremely attentive, does great quality work and is always friendly and accommodating. I got regular manicures, non-chip, pedicures and most recently was comfortable enough to get a gel full set (usually not my thing, but Lana made it look very natural, so I'm happy). Highly recommend. Oh, and they always play great movies on DVR, so I find myself not minding drying my nails for just a liiiiiitle longer :-) read more

I was referred by my hair stylist to come here - I may not go anywhere else again (unless I happen to have an emergent need for a mani or pedi and Spa Dabin is closed). Almost every time, the technicians I get are either Sunny or Lana, and they are really good at what they do. My nails always look great and last all week (I get regular polish - I have never tried no-chip here, so can't speak to that). I went in last week for a quick mani/pedi as a birthday treat to myself. The business is very clean and the ladies were very attentive. The manicure and pedicure were both done in an hour so even though the business has "spa" in the name, it's not a take your time, lounge around in your robe, type spa. The manicure lasted 8 days (and I even washed dishes without gloves on!). The pedicure is still looking good 2 weeks in, although I wish more time had been spent on the rough part of my heels. But that is something I would mention when I go back. For what this place is, a walk in nail salon, I think it's great...way better than your average strip mall nail salon. read more

I have only been to this nail salon once, but it is so awesome! They had a special going on that included a complementary paraffin wax. How cool is that?! My nails look great, and the technician took her time making sure they were nearly perfect. I also appreciate the nice neck massage while waiting for the no chip to soak off. At first I was hesitant to come here because the price for a no chip is a little more than I'm used to paying, even in the city, but the price differences makes sense for the exceptional service. A few of my nails chipped on the ends a little, and when I was in the area over the weekend I stopped in to ask for them to be fixed. One of the technicians and the owner, gladly said "no problem!" and I really appreciate that! I will definitely be back to the salon, and really appreciate the courteous and hard-working staff! read more

The Receptionist was borderline rude. The pedicurist, who did not speak English, talked me into a polish that she thought was better. I have crooked toes so it is best to separate the toes widely and keep color neutral. She did a minimal job of dealing with dead skin. Naturally the polish smeared, she insisted on re-doing it twice,45 minutes more. Finally, I just left with smeared polish. I found a parking ticket on my car because i was trying to be nice to this women, since she seemed upset. At home, I removed the messy polish. read more

I love going to Spa Dabin- it's a treat and reasonably priced-I'm not a big fan of going to places getting my nails done but this place is so relaxing and the women are great. I love the pedicures-they do a wonderful job and my feet feel like a million dollars when they are done- & it lasts for weeks. read more

I was a loyal devotee to another local nail salon for over five years and thought I would never leave. This salon opened across from my office and I was in a pinch. I was very pleasantly surprised....first of all, my manicure lasted an entire week. This NEVER happens to me. I couldn't ignore that and was forced to break-up with my (former) beloved manicurist. Just about the worst pedicure ever! One coat of polish, no base coat, and I bled twice. Plus, the entire process took less than 30 minutes but was more expensive than the other salons on the block. Will never be visiting here again. read more

I accidentally brought a Winnetka gift certificate here when the two businesses are no longer affiliated. The staff were extremely accommodating, understanding and provided excellent customer service despite the mixup. I was extremely pleased with the kindness of the staff, the attention to detail and the beautiful nail work with a bonus shoulder massage. I have not yet found a place that I love in Evanston and I think this salon is definitely the spot. I left feeling relaxed and pleased with my manicure. I will definitely be back! read more

Spa Dabin does a great job for a very reasonable price. My manicures last at least 10 days. They have a good selection of colors and unlike some salons, the polish is never old. Maybe that is why the manicures last as long as they do. Everyone there is pleasant and friendly. It is a great way to relax. read more
