Steve has angel hands, his massage makes you feel better than the majority of the massagists in Hotels like Ritz Carlton or Four season. Out of more than 15 massagists that Burke Williams has there is only one lady that can deliver a service as healing as Steve here. He not only does sport massages but any other kind of pain reliever massage he will know how to work it for you to perfection ( I am Sensitive to strong pressure and skinny so massaging on top of my bones hurt if done incorrectly ) His energy is amazing and makes you feel comfortable physically and emotionally. The parlor is small but impeccably clean--masks required at all times, plenty of hand sanitizer around, and a thorough intake form all made me feel that they take the safety of their clients very seriously. My East Meets West massage with Tai was exactly what I was hoping for: she worked out the all the knots and manipulated me into nice, deep stretches. She even added some hot stone massage because I had to wait a little bit for my service to begin (which is only because I arrived early.) Clean place, reasonably priced, great massage, and they have parking if you need it. Can't ask for too much more than that! This will be my go-to from now on. read more

Don't even bother. Unprofessional scheduling. Massages were ok but every time (3 times now) I try to book they canceled/moved my appointment 15 minutes before i'm supposed to have my appointment. Every time they say they're going to work on keeping their scheduling accurate and every time they fail and cancel on me last minute. So rude and a waste of time. I came here because the reviews were great. & I definitely needed a massage. I have a bunch of knots in my neck and shoulders. The lady comes in and asks me what my problem areas are & I tell her my pain is mostly in my neck, shoulders & lower back. I booked a DEEP TISSUE massage. Paid $105 for 1hr and 20 minutes. The entire massage was the exact same motion, there was no deep tissue what so ever. It was more of a rub down massage. She did not once put any pressure. The oil was completely cold. The "warm towel" they use isn't soft at all. Felt like a very old rough towel. Needless to say, I will NEVER be coming back here again. $105 down the drain and I'm still in pain and now have to go and find another massage place! read more

I chose this place last minute. The massage was terrible and I had to tell the masseuse what to do. I felt like she was just rubbing me and not really performing a Swedish massage. I have really bad knots in my neck/shoulder area which I explained before the massage and my masseuse was still not gentle in those areas. My friend was in another room and he said the older woman massaging him did nothing but rub his body but he didn't know that he could tell her that she needed to apply more pressure. Could have been better. I also felt like they never switched out the sheets because right after exiting, the room, another client was brought into the same room. The sheets I laid on had a weird smell but I thought it was just me...Might not be the most sanitary spa but with dim lighting you can't tell! read more

If I could I would give this place 3.75. The 4 is too generous in my opinion. Positives: -clean, safe, good ambiance -some masseuses better than others (Pinky is great, very attentive, and polite) -easy to schedule -massage tables are very well done Negatives: -Prices are higher than massage places in the area. -There is a huge pressure to leave a tip. Every time I go I'm asked about paying before the massage and leaving the tip before I even get the session. I think that's fundamentally strange as tips are based on service and overall experience, it's not my job to pay your employees more. That's honestly the feeling I get, as if the tip is so needed that maybe the employees are being underpaid by their business/ spa owner. - Tip pressuring part 2. When I finish the session, it almost feels like there's a gang mentality with 3 people standing at the front desk expecting me to tip (which I do) and then they are looking looking over the desk to see what I write. -This is more of a personal preference, but if you accept an appt that starts at 8/8:10 and it finishes at 9:30, I would hope that you wouldn't make a young woman stand outside alone while she's calling an Uber and she's underdressed. It seems like common sense. I understand your employees need to clean up and close down, but what we are talking about is the difference between 10 minutes of me sitting on a chair inside waiting for my ride (out of the cold) and me standing outside waiting for an Uber while I see people inside the business for 30 minutes after I was asked to wait outside. It gives me the feeling of "I paid, I tipped, ok we are done with her" I waited 3 sessions to give this review. Hoping this feedback gets incorporated. read more

This place has given me the BEST massage Ive ever received and the WORST, hence the three stars. The good: Steve, Jeanie are both amazing! Like truly! They understand the human body and work masterfully to relieve pain and tension. Highly recommend. The horrible: Michelle -- oh god. The worst massage Ive had to date, and trust me, I have had my fair share of massages in the LA area. Michelle does not understand "a little more" and "a little less." When I asked for more pressure, she went from 0 to 100... digging her feet and hand into my body in thoughtless and careless ways. I was so uncomfortable the whole time and came home aching with bruises. When I asked for less, she literally started rubbing my body with oil. It honestly made me want to ask her to stop the whole massage bc I had to ask her about 4 diff times and she pendulated from extremely uncomfortable pressure to body rubs. Spectacular massage from Steve. I got a deep tissue massage, but I think he incorporated elements of the "pain management trigger point therapy" that he also specializes in. It was truly fantastic. He asked me questions and used that information to zero in on what I needed. His technique was firm but not painful. I feel a thousand times better after the massage, and he gave me tips on exercises and stretches to help prevent future pain. The place was aesthetically pleasing; clean, relaxing, and modern. The massage therapist named Panda, was so attentive and healing. Whenever I say I want a neck massage they always spend time on arms, hands, feet, and legs but I only wanted to focus on where my issues are.
