This same therapist was also working part-time as a bartender, and going to nursing school to become an in-home nurse. I was informed by the owner of the practice that she was not requiring any of the staff to be immunized. Since both I and my partner are immunocompromised, our medical teams advised us both that it was not safe for us to go back to this practice, so we did not. Unfortunately, there was no other in-network massage therapy practice that was accredited with my insurance company (Commonwealth Care Alliance) at that time, so we have gone for almost a year without these services. I needed an office that was both vaccinated and handicapped accessible. However, I am pleased to announce that there is now an additional accredited massage therapy facility in Stoughton that accepts Commonwealth Care Alliance! We have our first appointment with them set up for this week, and I will review them after a few visits. :) If you are concerned about vaccination status of your medical providers, you need a handicapped accessible office, and you are a CCA member, you now have another option!

The main room is bright and has a couple of comfy chairs. Marie greeted me and gave me a form to fill out. She was very pleasant. There was waterfall music playing in the background. The massage room was dimly lit as it should be and the massage table had very nice soft sheets. Marie did an excellent job giving me a massage. I felt completely relaxed when she was done. As soon as I entered I felt relaxed and calm. Everything about Lauren's business has a cool vibe. I loved my only prior massage experience I had while on vacation a few months ago, but the experience with Lauren topped it by a large margin. The esthetician used st. ives apricot scrub on my skin. A $120 facial and you're using bottom of the barrel, discount, irritating products. There are so many blogs showing you should not use this. I was so mad when I got up and saw that being used. The lights were flicked on/off the whole time. Pop music played instead of spa music. The table was very small/narrow and uncomfortable. There was no facial massage of any kind, more so cleanse, then put under a series of machines. Just sitting there under it. Cheap paper face mask left on. Then comes to extractions: she over picked my face and now I have a scab that will scar. The facial itself was not relaxing or any attention to detail. Just face washed with st.ives, too many extractions, then a drying light therapy (even though I said my skin is sensitive and dry). Then at the end, the employee didn't know how to use the square machine so I had to venmo. I asked for a refund and was told I could come in for another appointment for free. I do not want to come in, I was uncomfortable and the products used were cheap and damaging. I was trying to be very civil and polite when asking for a refund but I am being dismissed so I warned I would write a negative public review. I have not had any other services here, only the Raina facial. I understand people make mistakes but the cheap products and lack of care has driven me here. Hope this helps.
