I had another stellar massage here, this time it was 60 minutes full-body, so it was in a little roomlet that offered privacy and a massage table. My therapist was Eliza and she was terrific. Her massage was intense, firm, and patient. It was fun and relaxing to chat with her, and yet she knew when to 'read the room' and just let me be quiet and relax. While flying home from Sierra Vista, I changed planes in DFW. Now I admit not being a frequent flyer, but never had I seen a spa in an airport terminal. With a three hour layover, there was sufficient time for a pedicure and a meal before continuing my journey back to Augusta. Dora was my aesthetician for this particular journey. She claimed 15 years at this location and seemed to have a depth of patience, knowledge and understanding at my wonder and confusion as the process began. Dora took very good care of me during my visit and we talked about everything from working at the airport to our parents and grandchildren we had or wanted. The store was scrupulously clean that morning. The air is scented and relaxing New Age music and nature sounds were piped in. This not only de-stressed me but almost made me forget my connecting flight. I spent about an hour there chatting with everyone while services were rendered and it was time well spent. Had a 3-hour layover on Wednesday the 25th of September. This is the third time I've used this terminal C massage location. But this time far exceeded all my expectations. I took the time to get a 1 hour massage. And the male masseuse asked questions about what part of my body was holding stress or hurt and then proceeded to make me forget that I was even at the airport. I don't like deep tissue in this masseuse took that into consideration using a slow and firm touch. It is a shame that I won't be flying through DFW terminal C anytime soon. I hope the management knows this employee is a true gem and they shouldn't let him get away. read more

They let you sit in their dimly lit space with large, comfortable reclining chairs if you have time after your service. That alone is worth it. Onto the actual service. I stopped in for a pedicure. I was so impressed with the speed and precision of my cosmetologist. I got an invredibly relaxing pedicure in 20minutes flat. I chose normal nail polish and it dried within 15-20minutes and I was able to put my normal shoes on before hoofing it to my gate. read more

I was so excited to relax with a massage on my layover and unfortunately it fell short and I was left bruised. I should have stopped the service and I didn't. Before the massage was nice in the waiting area very comfortable and relaxing. However the massage itself was way too rough and o did not ask for a deep tissue massage there were a couple of times I said I was in pain the the therapist would stop but didn't really change pressure much. It really hurt. I would not recommend unless you are looking for deep tissue. The therapist also kept calling me lady which I found disrespectful. I had a long layover so got on their list and went to dinner with my husband and teenager.I got a call when a spot opened up and headed over. I got a barber cut here. No fade, nothing special, just a 2 and a shape up. I could have done this myself. They weren't able to cut my cowlick even, even with shears although they definitely think they did. This was also the lightest handed shape up and I don't think they even have straight razors. It may be an airport thing but if you can't do a proper line up, don't charge $40. It would have been. A decent $20 cut but for $40 why did I even bother. The woman who charged me $75 cash to wash and dry my hair on 12/3/21 should be arrested. She wouldn't take a credit/debit card probably because she didn't want a trail. In addition to completely damaging my hair, she tortured me (was rough on my scalp & pulled my hair the whole time, very painful), and she completely lied to me about the shampoo/conditioner being safe for my highlighted hair. I literally had to take 8 inches off my hair because of her ineptitude, and my hair is still not as healthy as before I made the mistake of going here. I stopped in 30 min before boarding to get a quick 20 minutes of work on the knot in my shoulders, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Josh is very talented, had strong hands with a gentle touch. He gave me the much needed relief I needed, through massage and stretching, and gave me a tip for how I can avoid the knot developing in the first place. Massive disappointment and waste of time/money. Dude started off polite then I couldn't feel a thing when he was massaging, the entire time I was kind of upset that the massage was so bad. It felt like he started yesterday, no coordination. Arms were super hairy (or something felt rough) so it felt kind of gross. When I asked for more pressure he was indignant saying "what kind of pressure do you want exactly?" Sarcastically. He also kept pinching my leg skin against the table which was painful. After a lot of discomfort I suggested he avoid doing that... since he replied with a stubborn "have you ever gotten a massage before" and "I've been doing this for 18 years" instead of agreeing to stop hurting me, I then asked how much time was left, he said he had done 28 min then literally 15 seconds later without resuming he cut it short... saying he has done 33 minutes. I checked the timer after and it wasn't running he had just moved a new timer to say 33 mins and it wasn't counting down. I asked for another therapist to complete the 1 hour job and he said I couldn't get service there anymore. Also he wasn't too accommodating when I asked at the beginning to use the horizontal flat table. Seemed like he had a problem with it or something. Overall just a very weird experience, I've had hundreds of massages and maybe 1% were bad. The therapist (Martin) had the nerve to point out the door as soon as I paid. read more

I got a gel manicure and the edges were not cleaned up at all. She was painfully slow and still did not do a nice and clean job! There was paint all over my cuticles. And my polish was not even done curing. There was lint and cotton pieces sticking to my nails after I left. I ended up having to go to another spa in the airport for a better service to correct the inconvenience. It's really dark in the spa. There should be better lighting for nail services. read more

She's the kind of therapist who can find the places that are tense with her fingers and get the pressure just right - in my case deep but not painful. I had a 30 minute neck and back and 15 foot and leg (mostly foot). She also had a great, cheerful demeanor. The space is very calming. The check-in process is a little disorganized (it appears they rely on those providing services to acknowledge and invite in clients, and it is unclear which staff members can do which services, leading to one confusion over who will be served next).
