I have been going to Spa Nails & Waxing for years. This is the only place I go to for my pedis. I always get an acrylic toe on both big toes and then just a regular pedi. I have been coming here for years but I don't think I'll be returning anymore. Linda is the one in charge and the only one I came to trust to do my nails after many other wonky jobs from other staff. She's a good nail tech but very hit or miss. It usually feels very frantic and hard to relax with her answering phones, directing traffic, running back and forth to do another customers waxing etc. It's very hard to relax when someone isn't just taking it easy, focusing on your nails and giving full attention. All of that would actually be forgivable but the last few times my nails were just sloppy and unacceptable. After my previous visit last week ($70 acrylic new set- inc tip) my cuticles were not attended to and the very same day they were catching on my hair and threads because they were lifting and not smooth. I have an infant so I wasn't able to return until one week later. I came back and asked Linda to fix the worst of the nails, and she blamed my grow out for the issue and charged me for another fill for $45. And she said I don't want to charge you for the cats eye because it's only been a week! Lol like she was doing me a favor. That was my last time, I am done. read more

Wanted to treat myself to some toe love and hand care, so I decided to give this place a try since I was running errands in the area. Although the place was quite busy, Linda was accommodating and got me in a chair in less than 20 minutes. I really wanted to love this place, but it was just ok, maybe if I got the deluxe pedicure things would have been better, but it was just plane water no foot massage or bells and whisltles. Fung did a good job on my cuticles, but still I felt like I was missing out. Tu did ok on my mani, because when accidently messed up my thumb nail when paying, she just added more polish instead of doing the whole thumb nail over. Maybe it was just an off day and maybe I will give them another chance because one thing that was good was Linda and her customer service. read more

I was told not to come back to this shop because they do not want to take time to do my nails. Mind you I've supported Linda since day one in her old shop. Paid $110 for a service I was unhappy with and when asked for a partial refund she said no. I'm not even bothered she doesn't want to take the time to give her customers quality service and told me to not come back that just shows what she is willing to provide as a business owner. What's mind blowing to me is that she is really that upset because I kept pointing out what needs to be fixed from hearts not looking like hearts to different lengths and to crooked French tips. As stated been going to her since her first shop opened and watched the decline in quality and respect through out the years but that's my fault for having a soft spot for Linda from knowing her for so many years seeing her holding it down during her first pregnancy. Some people change and that she did. Saddens me to say this and take the rose colored glasses off but I should've stayed away from this place like originally planned after seeing the lack of cleanliness and of how much they hate to be corrected even though you are a paying customer. Also how scared her employees are of her. But best of luck to you Linda, karma sucks. Few things, nail clippings left in foot tub, her mom even noticed and just swiped them out and proceeded to fill water. Linda grabbed nippers out in the open God knows how many people she used them on and proceeded to clean up some hanging skin on my cuticles. Electric foot filer was used on multiple customers and not changed out. Another employee (her sister in law) was sitting there with nail polishes pouring old ones into another one mixing them. Linda asked if I wanted to cut my nails down as I was saying no she cut down anyway said I need to. When telling her one nail is long then the other she said it wasn't. When saying something is crooked she says it's not. Linda literally swatted at me when I went to point out something in my toes and when I went to pull my pants legs down the lady says to me quietly let me do it before Linda yells and gets mad again. If you are looking to relax and be pampered as we expect when we go to get a pedicure and nails done this is not the place, they rush and do a sloppy job and if u have something to say they don't like it and start getting frustrated and start treating you poorly. Straight from Lindas mouth she won't take time to do your nails and if that's what you expect don't come here. She said she took almost 3 hours on my nails. She started my nails at 5 and I walked out of there at 6:15 completely unhappy. Had to go to another shop to get my nails fixed and they were about to close and still took me and took an hour after closing to fix them now that's customers service. read more

I'm sad to say that my experience here was not was not good because the ladies were super nice! I'm giving 2 stars because they just seemed so rushed. So I got regular nail polish (don't ask me why I don't get gel, I'm letting my nails get stronger) and the lady who did my manicure put on the Polish so thick, it took forever to dry. It was so bad, that when I paid, it scraped and I had to get it fixed. You can literally see the last layer she put, it's like she didn't care cause she needed to move on to the next person. I had to remove the Polish within the hour of getting it done. My daughter also came with me. First time ever getting a mani/pedi, she was so excited but sadly, it wasn't that. They didn't even bother to clip or shape her nails. I paid $20 for Polish... now that I could have done myself. First time coming here. I came to get my nails done with my friend before my trip. My friend & her family has been coming to this place for quite sometime and because I heard great things, I thought I'd give it a try. At first everything was great, the owner/manager lady who greeted us was super friendly. They were a little busy, but she got us in a short time. Another nail tech did my manicure and a different older lady did my pedicure. Right away the pedicure lady made me feel self-conscious and uncomfortable by of course, making negative comments about my feet and legs, down to the color I chose, all in Vietnamese. Being Vietnamese-American, I can speak/understand both languages. First comment I let slide, but when she kept making little comments to the manicurist about my feet and toes, and questioning why I chose that color because she thought it wasn't pretty, I was ANNOYED. It was a cute, pastel yellow I picked out for Spring! It was none of her business on what I wanted anyways. The whole pedicure was super uncomfortable and unsettling, I didn't even get a chance to enjoy my manicure. It is hurtful when someone makes negative comments about me right in front of my face in my own native language. Her service had a "whatever" demeanor, pedicure seemed rushed and the massage was WEAK (no foot massage, more like a quick leg and foot rub). However, I saw everyone else taking their time and other customers being well taken care of. I was with my Caucasian friend, so of course I was speaking English the whole time. Although, I replied back in Vietnamese a couple times to show her I understood. If only the clients knew what these people were calling them, you would see how two face some people can really be. E.g, two girls were in line to pay, one of the employees called out "those two fat girls need to pay." So casually. Disgusting. Overall experience was disappointing. I know it would've been more enjoyable if it wasn't for the rude comments. The owner/manager apologized on behalf of her employee and was overall kind and professional at the end. The girl who did my manicure was slightly nice and professional. She paid more attention to her job and helping other clients and colleagues, which I understand. I appreciate her for reporting the incident to the manager. For judging someone 40 years younger than her, I would give the pedicure lady no stars for her unprofessionalism and rudeness. Lesson: Be careful what you say and who you say it around. read more

I did miss this shop so much since COVID. Today I went in for a gel manicure. Felt very safe and relaxed. As always, the staff did a great job and were very professional. The manicurist was friendly and made my nails look gorgeous in a very reasonable time. I am so glad that this business reopened; I felt terrible for the owner and all of the staff members who couldn't work. Today, I left a 40% tip. Hope y'all can do the same. The day is here where Linda is back!! Hallelujah. Ample safety precautions in place including temp screen and hand sanitizer before entering. Everyone had masks on. Spacers every which way you looked. And I saw the staff conducting sanitization cleans several times when I was there. So happy she is back!! Go show her some love. My nails are extremely long most of the time so the sculpt is Important to me for comfort and look. Linda and her team did a great job taking care of my mom and I. It's not the most quaint place I've ever been to however everyone was SO nice. I found I to be a little cluttered and messy. Not really a spa feel. However, they remembered my mom, asked me questions about my visit home and were so friendly. You can't beat the price at $21 for a full pedicure. Wow. Coming back here to defend Linda after 3 women below(filter by "newest") are claiming this establishment is racist. I was witness to the situation and this is absolutely not true! The girl claiming this was sitting next to me and i told her the wiping of tootsies is standard- i have been coming here 10 years! Lindas mom always wipes everyones feet with a paper towel before getting their feet worked on. This is so dirt/sock fuzzies dont clog the spa filters. I am white and it doesn't matter if you are white, black or purple. The fact that they are defaming Linda is not okay. They probably want free services. read more

I haven't been here in awhile because last time one of the women that did my nails messed up on the shape of nails and manager came in and told me my fingers were crooked and that's why my nail shape was off and sideways. I don't know the woman's name but she is in station 7 or 8. She complained about my nail shape and complained about fixing it. Went there yesterday again because wasn't able to go to my regular spot at Belle nails and was absolutely disappointed. I got the same woman and had the same complaint with nail shape. I told her I wanted a narrow oval, and she cut my nails super short and gave me pointy short stiletto nail that looked awful. Manager comes and tries to convince me they are fine but they looked awful. I made them redo my nails from scratch. I was there for 4 hrs and i wanted a special nail design and a special different nails with accent colors and glitters, bit ended up with plain red glitter for Christmas. I was telling the woman what I wanted and she brought a red sparkly color and told me it's nice for Christmas and to accept it because I should go home. I said whatever and went home with the red glitter. Will never come back. I came in for a fill and I did get a discount and was charged for a fill versus a full set because they had to redo my nails and start from scratch. My nails are still half assed and terrible,thick and not narrow oval that I asked for. It's a shame. My cuticles are sore and bled in a couple of areas. read more

Today was my final visit to your spa. The lady at the front door and all who helped me were rude. It appeared the two working on me were talking negatively about my paint color and about me in general. It was the worst mani I'd ever had, the girl was cutting me instead of removing dead skin. Both her and the one doing my pedi gave pitiful massages. They put my fingers in a bowl of boiling hot acetone to remove the shellac. The lady who removed my shellac was slightly friendly but everyone else made me feel so uncomfortable with their unfriendliness. I told my mom about my experience because she's a customer too and she said she won't be back either. Here's a tip for you, maybe the rude lady at the door can walk around with a swiffer because everything in your shop is covered with so much dust. It would also be nice if you used new/clean instruments and files. read more

I used to go to two different nail salons, one for nails and another for toes, as I couldn't find one place that could do both the way I like. I tried this salon since it's down the street from me and liked the job they did on both. For the past 7 months, I had been only going to this establishment every two weeks for a fill and pedicure. The last time I visited, however, I was accused of giving a nail technician a hard time on a previous visit. (I have never given anyone a hard time about my nails or feet. If I don't like the services performed, I simply don't say anything and never return.) I told the lady that it wasn't me and I didn't know what she was talking about. She continued to loudly tell me that it was me and since I was unhappy with my toes last time, they will not perform a pedicure today. I, again, told her that she has a case of mistaken identity (or racial profiling) and it was not me. My first thought was to just leave. But, I reallllly needed a pedicure so I stayed. There was no hot water in the salon that day and I put my feet in a tub filled with cold water. Le sigh. The nail tech stated that she told the lady in charge that it wasn't me. She was kind and apologetic about it all. The lady in charge never apologized to me for causing a scene and accusing me of something I did not do. However, I did hear her apologize profusely to someone of a different race about mistaking their identity. Needless to say, I'll never return to this establishment. I'll take my $70+ spent every two weeks back to the other places. At least I know that I won't be racially profiled. read more

I swear every time I go here I leave feeling like a QUEEN. I've been getting fake nails (acrylics) for over 15 years, and for some reason, every other place I've went to either over charges for the most basic of shape and shade, and don't even get me started on most of their customer service. Not this place. Spa Nail and Waxing gets it right EVERY. TIME. Plus, the ladies there really treat you extremely kind. As you can see, I prefer stiletto style acrylics, and I like glitter or BRIGHT colors. I went today, and, like a LOT of times before, they had a PLETHORA of new, hand picked shades, bought by Ms. Linda. She is AMAZING. I picked a purple ombré, and instead of doing just a whiteish base, she went over it with a soft purple glitter and added 3 rhinestones on each ring finger (you know what I mean lol). I would have never picked that combination, but the end result-just WOW. These women are truly artists, from their fingers to their toes! ;) I will be going back until, well, always. I went with a friend for a manicure and pedicure... I almost never have a manicure/pedicure. They tag-teamed us. It was pretty funny, I felt like the queen of some small country.. So one gal each for the footsies, and one gal each for the front paws.. The manicure has lasted a week! What? Cool beans! So, here is the thing I understand a tiny bit of their native language, and I laughed when they said something (it was funny). They all looked at me shocked.
