Facials with Gia are amazing!! The atmosphere is stellar and knowing that she built out the entire space shows she has put her all into this business and has a great attention to detail. The facial was very relaxing and I loved that she doesn't ignore your neck and decollete as I've found other spas have in the past. Gia has a gentle hand during extractions with clear results! Gia is a phenomenal human being. She's a sharp businesswoman and gives an amazing facial. I was stunned to see how beautiful my skin had looked after a customized facial. What's great about Gia is that she seems to genuinely care about her clients and isn't around just for the bottom line. I came back here but for another service, I got a Brazilian wax done by Katie. I needed to go to another place that is a lot closer to my new apartment. I liked how it was so easy to book through her online and she had many options for availability. I also read from previous reviews that she was great so I wanted to try her services and I'm glad I did! That was honestly the most gentle waxing experience I've ever had, I think I got used to how my previous waxing lady would just pull the wax strip so fast/hard. My previous waxing lady also used to double dip and still somehow doesn't get everything off :/ What I really liked about Katie's technique was that she was quick but she was still careful and meticulous. I thought she was also welcoming and friendly! I liked how she distracted me from being in pain from waxing! I don't have much experience with getting facials, maybe because nothing has ever "woo'ed" me enough to make facials a "regular thing" - that's is, until I started seeing Gia. A few friends recommended me to Gia and I decided to go for myself. I rarely give 5 stars, but Gia deserves all 5. Gia recommended specific treatments for my skin, explained the results I should see and even better, I have actually seen those results! I like that Gia explains the different steps throughout the facial too, so I know what's going on and how this benefits my skin. Gia also gave me some great recommendations for skin "up-keep" moving forward and had been very flexible with making appointments work with my crazy schedule. The atmosphere is awesome, street parking is a piece of cake, prices are great, and most of all, the entire reason for my first--the facial services are excellent. You must have Anna do your hair. MUST. About 8 years ago, I started seeing Anna for regular cuts/highlights at Salon Blue. Salon Blue closed, and she started up with Gia at Spa Social. Meanwhile, life got crazy with a new baby, I went to a different stylist closer to my house. But it wasn't the same. Thankfully, I was able to make the trek down to Anna again, and I am so glad I did. As a new, working mom, I had really neglected myself, and I forgot what it was like to feel confident and have awesome hair. I will never go anywhere else again. At Salon Blue, Anna was known for having a knack with blondes... and that she does. But as you can see from the Yelp reviews here, she is just GOOD at what she does. She was very welcoming, easy to talk to, and did a great job on my hair cut. Gia saved my skin! I had terrible acne, mainly cystic, and had tried every oral and topical out there. My dermatologist finally suggested I start accutane because it was the only option left.
