By far the best place to get a massage. The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil and elegant the moment you walk in. The receptionists are incredibly professional and kind, the waiting area is full of snacks, fruit-infused water, or wine if you prefer, comfortable sofas and chairs, and a dim hallway lit by faint lights of candles lead you to your massage room. The massage room itself is as peaceful, elegant, and as relaxing as they come. Climbing into a HEATED MASSAGE TABLE was heaven. I was pleasantly surprised when my massage started off with AROMATHERAPY and a HOT TOWEL on my back. They even wrap your FEET in hot towels! Heavennnnnn. The massage itself was even more impressive. I've been going to Massage Sway for about 8 months now and I've got nothing but great things to say about the front office staff, the massage therapists and the facility in general. Everyone here has an excellent demeanor and you're welcomed each time by friendly and helpful people in the front. Complimentary water or wine are available while you wait for your appointment along with a helpful list of extras in case you'd like to add anything to your massage. I've had 5 or 6 different massage therapists work on me, and they've all given me the exact type of massage I was looking for: sometimes deep tissue, sometimes relaxation, sometimes focusing on a specific ailment or muscle group, without ever using too much or too little pressure based on my request for that particular visit. Also, while they do offer a full line of extras for each visit, no one has ever tried to "push" or "sell" me on anything. There aren't any high-pressure sales tactics to dodge or worry about, just helpful staff at every turn. I highly recommend signing up for their monthly membership (as I did for me and my wife) as it's well worth it. And, considering the location and amenities, the price is definitely fair. read more

My deep tissue 50 min couples massage was amazing!!! This was my first deep tissue massage, and I was pleasantly surprised. Amber knew exactly where I needed the most pressure and really worked all the knots out of my shoulders and back with deep pressure. She said that she could definitely tell I needed this and that I had a ton of knots! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my neck & shoulders are always EXTREMELY tense and stiff, even though I'm only 20! (but trust me... my body feels ancient lol) I felt so much relief within the first 10 minutes that I was almost emotional. The stress of being a college student during this pandemic AND living with Lupus/RA really takes a toll on me both mentally and physically, so any amount of relief is truly life changing. Amber was so amazing that I signed up for the membership on the spot! $70 a month is also what I pay for my Lupus prescription, so to me this is just another form of treatment and is much more pleasant than medicine! I've been a member at spa sway for 6 years. Today I received horrible treatment from an esthetician named Misty. She judged me for my blackheads and hated on my products that I use at home- as she always does. Today she SOAKED my skin for dermaplaning with alcohol and some of the pungent alcohol went up my nose. I flinched and pulled away from her. She rudely told me "Jennifer this is what we ALWAYS do" in the most condescending way. I replied "yes but this is a lot of alcohol and it went up my nose" to which she just said "okay". No apology, no checking to see how she could better accommodate me- the client. Then after that "incident" between us, she applied a clay mask to my face. Normally when I get a mask during a facial I receive an arm or upper body massage. I didn't receive one from her today. we just sat there in awkward silence. Then she only partially wiped the mask away (after the facial I wiped away remaining clay mask from my nose and chin by myself in the bathroom mirror), slapped on some moisturizer and left the room after saying "we're all done here". She didn't even wait for me outside the room. I'm always escorted to the front desk by other estheticians. Why did she treat me way? I'll never know but I can take a wild guess. I hope she learns to treat people with more respect and to apologize when her client feels uncomfortable. Or get out of this line of work altogether. The HR manager and the ladies at the front desk were wonderful when I told them about my experience. I hope next time I can actually confront her instead of her running away from me. read more

That being said, I dont want to spend a fortune because I want to go a lot (as in every 3 weeks or more) SO I am always trying to find that perfect match of price with luxury. I have been a member at Massage Envy, Oak Haven and Elements. This blows them out of the water by far. For $65 I can get a wonderful massage. Not the best I have ever had (I lived in Italy for 2 years and there was this therapist there with magic hands) but the best I have had in a while. And definitely the best I have ever had in the price range. I was pleasantly surprised. I've tried a few therapists. Nathaly was my girl but her schedule and mine doesn't match up so my current favorite is Regan. My husband also became a member and we just have not been disappointed with anyone. I've tried facials twice. The first time the power went out so they couldn't do it all. I decided to try again and it was OK. My lady was perfectly great but it didnt leave me feeling as squeaky clean as others have. I'm not sure if this is a product thing or what. I would have loved to make them my monthly facial spot too, but I will go elsewhere for that. Definitely give them a try for your massage needs. You will not be disappointed. read more

I've gotten 3 massages at Massage Sway, and each one has been fabulous. Wonderfully skilled massage therapists--Susan is so kind and is very good at all levels of pressure. The tables can be heated to your comfort level, which is great because sometimes I get cold laying under the sheet! And about the sheets--they are noticeably the softest sheets I've ever encountered. I think they might sell them in the lobby? But I'm not sure about that. The prices for services are on the high end. The prices are amazing and the atmosphere is just like a higher end spa. I've had massages and facials with several different therapists and aestheticians because I tend to book last minute most of the time. I've NEVER had a poor experience. It's obvious that everyone who works here is experienced and well trained. Lately, I've been getting facials with Lisa, and she's absolutely the best. I noticed a difference in my skin immediately. Today will be my last massage as a member of sway; since I was very upset the last time I was checking out. The reason I was upset was that when I was rebooking to take my fiancé in with me, I was told that their prices have been raised since the demand for the room is in such demand. First, as a member, I've booked the room for two people (taking my little sister in from NY) before and I paid my membership rate while paying her massage with a $15 discount non member price; which I was fine with. However, telling me that I will be paying the nonmember pricing since I want to book the room again with my fiancé bc it's in such demand is pretty disappointing. The front desk girls are nice, the masseuse are all pretty good; however, I've notice that when I'm on time(early really), they come to get me a few minutes late, start a few minutes late and than finish at the time that they scheduled for you to be done (although you really aren't a 100percent sure you received that 50 or 80 minutes massage. They do not have any timer for you to see when they start and finish. The reasons that I joined as a member was for the benefits; so if you're going to change my expectations and not care about how it would upset me. How do I know you do not care? Not once did anyone call to see where I was coming from. I do not get just one massage a month but have spent a few $100 every month, by spending on family/friends. I was hoping to treat my fiancé, girlfriends (wedding 9/30/2017); however, since you do not really care about your client, I will spend it elsewhere. read more

This place was very serene. Although, there was nothing super stand out about it. Very nice staff, pretty good massage. I don't know that anything will bring me back, though. I enjoyed their complimentary wine before the massage and they have a lot of great products for sale. My 50 minute massage plus a mint scalp massage for $100. I have had seven massages over the past two years at Massage Sway. Five of the massages were A+ five star material and two of the massages were three star material. Parking can be a bit tricky if the spots in the front or the parking garage behind the spa are full. I also wish the waiting area was bigger. My favorite Domain spa! Prices are reasonable (even better for members or Domain residents) and it's always been a relaxing experience. You are offered tea or wine upon arrival, which is nice. They don't have you change into robes here, but that allows you to get to your treatment more quickly after arrival. Ted and Ileanna have been two of my favorite therapists and I highly recommend the Signature Sway or deep tissue massage. This place is hit or miss, depending on which masseuse you get. My first experience was massage and facial and it was decent. But the second time was very bad. She used mostly her elbows and it didn't feel good at all. If I wanted elbows I would've just sit on a massage chair. Also to add when she came to the waiting room to call me, she shortened my name to an entirely different name so I didn't respond as there were 5-6 other women in the waiting room too. READ BEFORE YOU SET AN APPOINTMENT. A massage was set up for me by my wife the night before. The whole family, including myself woke up the next day feeling miserable. I had a headache, sweating and was sneezing. I contacted Massage Sway to cancel due to health reasons. The representative went on to explain their 24 hr. cancellation policy without an apology or comment on my health. I told her this was a gift that was set up the night before, but the representative had no remorse and went on to give me more information on their 50% surcharge. I went in, sick and nasal dripping all over their sheets. The masseuse took multiple breaks/pauses, I lifted my head to indicate to him I was not asleep. They finished ten minutes early and had the audacity to ask how were the services that they gave me. I bought a Travelzoo deal for Massage Sway. I think I paid $49 for a 50 minute massage. Overall, the massage technique was OK, but there were some hiccups along the way. I called 2 weeks prior to schedule my appointment and specifically requested a female therapist. When I checked in, they told me that they had scheduled me with a male therapist. I'm fine with a male therapist, but am annoyed that I had made arrangements 2 weeks in advance, and they still got it wrong. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, but was not summoned by my therapist until 10 minutes after my appointment time. After getting on the table, I waited another 5 minutes for him to come back in. So, basically, my appointment started about 15 minutes late. And ended 10 minutes early. All in all, I got a 25 minute massage. From someone who didn't speak to me the whole time. And from someone I didn't want a massage from in the first place. I wish I could tell you who my therapist was, but I don't know his name because he never introduced himself. Not sure if this is how they treat their "regular paying" clients, but I was definitely not impressed at all by my experience. I doubt I will ever come back. read more

I was able to book a massage same day which is amazing for me since I am rarely in the position to book in advance. As I was reading the confirmation email I realized booking online doesn't necessarily mean you have a reservation, it still needs to be confirmed by the office. That being said, I had a call from them to confirm before I finished looking at the email so I'd say they are extremely prompt. The massage was amazing. I always go for a Swedish massage and usually prefer female massage therapists since they have a tendency to not be so firm with pressure.
