Please Read Before You Trust This Shop They are NOT Tesla Certified. Let me say it clearly again -- NOT Tesla Certified. We chose this shop because of their social media marketing, where they presented themselves as experienced with Tesla insurance and repairs. Unfortunately, that was very misleading, and we learned this the hard way. During our conversation, Austin mentioned they were "Tesla authorized," which is simply not true. That gave us a false sense of confidence. Things got worse during the repair process. We later discovered that our vehicle was not even being repaired at their listed location -- it had been moved to San Gabriel. It appears the work was subcontracted out without our knowledge or consent. When we finally received the car, the quality was unacceptable: - Missing parts and screws - Misaligned doors - Sensors not functioning properly When we raised these issues, their response was shocking -- they blamed Tesla, saying "that's Tesla's quality." We then took the car to a Tesla Collision Center. Even the manager there was surprised at the condition of the repair and questioned how it could have been done this way. After doing further research, we realized we are not the only ones who have had this kind of experience. It appears this may be part of how they typically operate. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Please do your due diligence and make sure you are working with a Tesla Certified Collision Center. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Space Auto Exotics and, unfortunately, would not recommend them based on my experience with their communication, customer service, and quality of work. I purchased my car in April and also purchased an extended warranty. In June, I brought the car in for a repair and was told it would be ready within three days. I received no updates during that time. When the three days had passed, I was told that the parts had not even arrived yet. This was never communicated to me beforehand. What was supposed to take three days ended up taking about a week. When I finally picked up my car, the bumper had not been properly put back on, and there were caps under the hood that had been left undone. This was extremely disappointing, especially after already having to wait longer than I was originally told. Then, in August, my air conditioning stopped working (which shouldn't have happened because my car is relatively new and had 0 problems before I dropped it off to get the bumper fixed) I brought the car back in under the extended warranty and was again told to drop it off for repairs. Once again, there was very little communication. When I went to check on my car myself, I found out that it was sitting at a different shop across the street and had not even been worked on. My calls were also not being returned. Eventually, I was told the repair was waiting for insurance approval. When I came back, I was told it had been approved but that they were still waiting on a part. Since I had already been without a car, I was told I could pick it up and bring it back the following Monday once the part arrived. When I brought the car back that Monday, the person who was supposedly handling my car was not at work and was not responding to calls. I was then told that he was the only person who knew anything about my vehicle, so they could not help me and did not want to work on it until he returned. The biggest issue throughout this entire experience has been the lack of communication and accountability. I should not have to repeatedly call, visit the shop in person, or find out on my own where my vehicle is and what is happening with it. On top of that, the previous repair was not completed properly, and I have experienced an unnecessarily difficult process with my warranty repair. One of the employees I spoke with on Monday also had an incredibly rude attitude, which made an already frustrating situation even worse. I understand that repairs can take longer than expected and that parts and warranty approvals can cause delays. What I don't understand is the complete lack of communication and the way customers are treated throughout the process. I sincerely hope I never have to deal with Space Auto Exotics again. read more

I had a great experience buying my car here. My salesman Henry was super nice, patient, and honest from the beginning. He sent me the Carfax and the full out-the-door price right away when I asked, with no pressure at all. He also let me take the car for a full two-hour PPI at an independent shop, which most dealerships don't allow. During the inspection, we found two normal mileage-related issues with the front struts. The team explained that this is common for BMWs around 70k+ miles, which matched what the mechanic told me. JB their finance manager immediately offered to order high-quality SACHS parts and have their own mechanic install everything with no labor charge, just the cost of the parts. They also fixed the tire pressure sensor for free. Another thing I appreciated was that they held the car for almost two weeks with only a $500 fully refundable deposit. No hassle, no pressure, and very flexible the whole time. Overall, the staff was honest, transparent, and easy to work with. Taken to auto shop, inspected, according to written work estimate it needs $8800.00 in repairs to be safe to drive. On the lift, shop immediately saw long standing engine oil leaks in 3 places. Terrible experience, I reached out to purchase a car remotely, sales person was extremely rude, I simply asked where the nearest ford dealership was so I could obtain an inspection and he told me, you have google, look for yourself. I asked if I paid for the time and inspection if someone could help take the car to the dealer for the inspection but they said no I would have to pay for a tow there and back, mind you after looking the dealership is 5 minutes away. I had an absolutely AWFUL experience buying a car here. First off, the ad for my car listed that the car had a backup camera and I didn't find out that it didn't actually have one until I got it home. I reached out and asked about it and was told it must have been "an error made by our listing website vendors." I am sorry but that's not acceptable when you are selling cars of this caliber. I put a deposit down on Friday of a holiday weekend. Informed them that I sent the remaining funds on Monday. I live an hour away from the location of the dealer so I had to catch a ride with a friend to pick up the car. I asked several times if the car would be detailed and ready to go by Tuesday and they said yes. I show up at about 1:30 PM and was informed the car wouldn't be done being detailed until 4:00. I had work an hour away at 6pm and the car being done at 4:00 puts me right in rush hour traffic in LA where I would have been late for work. Why tell me the detailing would be done when its not? Especially when I asked multiple times? Anyways, 2:30ish comes around and Sky has not brought me any paperwork to sign, he has said absolutely nothing to me and is acting like I am not even there. Another couple came in after me and he started helping them and doing paperwork with them. I had already asked for the paperwork once in the hour that I have been here just sitting around and I had to interrupt him and ask him AGAIN to bring me the paperwork while he was helping the other group. The car is also sitting outside and I see it sitting by itself with no detailer and I had to ask if the detailing was done. WHY would you not let me know its done when I have made it extremely clear I am pressed for time?? The detailing wasn't even done very well. I purchased a used Mercedes from Space Auto Group in June 2020. I appreciated the team waiting for me to get a cashier's check and the speed at which they fixed errors that arose from the sale. They did not sign the sales agreement and had not gotten a signed title from the previous owner, but were able to send those documents to me fairly quickly after the purchase. But late at night in early January 2021, my car key battery died and I tried to use the valet key to turn on the car and drive home.  The valet key did not fit in the car door, and I had to get another ride home.  I took the car in for service and discovered two issues that originated from the time of purchase: 1. The spare tire, although appearing normal on the exterior-facing side, when removed from the trunk was discovered to be slashed and unusable. 2. The valet key does not work in any of the car locks, and appears to not be the correct valet key for this vehicle. Very concerning.
