Me and my family wanted pizza for dinner and wanted to try someplace new! My husband remembered there was a new restaurant he saw in passing so we looked it up on of course YELP (lol) and decided to give it a try. We ordered on Uber Eats and it came pretty fast and still hot! Pizza did not disappoint! Sauce was very tasty and slices were small and thin which my kids love. We ordered the sausage pie, pepperoni and cheese. Also got some BBQ wings which were really good and I'm not a fan of BBQ chicken but I found myself eating a couple!! If ur in the Jersey City area give these guys a try! It's also a black owned business which is awesome!!!

I was in the area today so I stopped in. No tables to sit at since it's a TO-GO establishment. Greeted by a very pleasant staff member (not sure if it was an owner I forgot to ask) first appearance it was clean with a very pleasant aroma of pizza. I ordered a pie (not sold by the slice yet) , bar pie size, and mild wings. Order was ready in just about 15 minutes. Fresh mozzarella and seasoning on top. Tried the pizza and must say it was very good, not too greasy good flavors, crust was perfect. The wings were a little spicy but not bad good flavor cooked well. Definitely will be a repeat customer. If in the area I would recommend the stop.

I've been driving past this restaurant waiting for the day it would open because how cool of a name is SPACE PIZZA?! Well I figured out that it's because this pizza is out of this world. I got the large cheese with sausage. Crispy crust but not dry, quality toppings, seasoning of the crust and pie was spot on. The establishment was super clean and the food handling was proper as well and you can see them make your pie fresh to order. The woman that made my order was extremely friendly and you can taste the love and hard work that goes in the finished product. The picture in this review is is actually from my second visit. I didn't get the chance to take a pic of the first one because I INHALED IT. The menu has some specialty options that I am excited to try soon because of course I will be a repeat customer. Ohh and did I mention that it black owned and operated?! Highly recommend you take a trip to space pizza, you won't be disappointed.

I know why they call it space pizza because it's out of this World. The sauce on this pizza is excellent the fresh mozzarella and basil on it was great. The buttery garlic crust was awesome. This is straight Brick Oven perfection. No more Domino's or Papa John's for me. Even the wings are excellent so many different flavors and you have a choice of getting them breaded or unbreaded. This husband and wife Black Business owner Duo are dynamic! I told this gentleman that I wanted to order five boxes for my youth football team Hudson County Dolphins where I'm the strength and conditioning coach he said if you order five boxes I'll donate five boxes and he did. God bless you guys Greater is Coming. Jersey City has the best pizza now

I stopped by in a group of 3 for dinner and we decided to start the meal with their bread and butter tasting ($18). If you love butter, this is totally worth it! You get to try two varieties of their baked in-house breads and the cultured butters they serve are really fun to try. I appreciated that the butter servings were big enough that I could slather a generous layer of the butter onto each piece of bread. My only regret was not ordering more bread. Another pleasant surprise was their salad! I'm usually not one to order salads at restaurants (I could just make it at home!) but I was pleasantly surprised by the salad they had that day. We ordered 3 of their pizzas to try a variety and to take leftovers home. The pizzas were savory, cheesy, and the crust was as delicious as I'd expect! But if I were to be completely honest, I'd save my stomach space to just have a meal full of their bread.

Give yourself time to find street parking, otherwise there's a parking lot within walking distance. Another great perk about Razza is being able to utilize my Chase dining credit. The tables are very intimately organized. Service was attentive. The pizza was super fresh and we enjoyed the pies we shared. The real star of the show were the meatballs. We had already ordered bread (also good, but some of the butters are an acquired taste) and almost skipped the meatballs. So glad that we didn't! Definitely worth a visit. :)

If you knew me, I always considered pizza as a separate food group aka the sixth main food group! Established in 1982, this small family-owned cash-only restaurant has been a beloved neighborhood staple known for its authentic Italian pizza along with other Italian dishes and a cozy and family-friendly atmosphere. With a glut of pizza joints, how would this pizzeria from Larry and Joe compare to others I've tried in the neighborhood!? PURCHASE [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 3.5 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($5.00): A large container filled with oddly similarly-sized rings, these were hot, medium-browned, semi-crunchy, and didn't have a tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (not sweet Maui) stayed intact. They were slightly oily, no dipping sauce given, and surprisingly good. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=48&select=Fo3zPbAgICQdKvznZJsvGA Mozzarella Sticks 6pc ($7.00): Simple finger-sized medium-browned cheese sticks with homemade marinara dipping sauce, we enjoyed them but nothing special to report. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=72&select=XdrF2nAAywvu13PpkK4mIQ Eggplant Parmigiana Sandwich ($10.00): If you knew me, this was my go-to Italian sandwich, and it didn't disappoint. Filled with plenty of thin but meaty slices of breaded eggplant, marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese crammed between a lightly-toasted bun, this was a hearty meal that stuck to your ribs - oof! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=72&select=8R68F6zBwAxy4vcpvi8wzw Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich ($10.00): My friend opted for this lightly-toasted bun stuffed with many thin but meaty slices of breaded chicken, marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese, it was good but not better than the eggplant! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=72&select=p7slICln5ZVWgsqatlY8WQ 18" 8pc Broccoli Pizza + Mushrooms ($19.00 + $3.00): Still in the throes of no-meat during Lent, we chose this interesting option with an additional topping for more flavor. This was a massive pizza with a ton of fresh toppings, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce with an incredibly crispy yet soft crust. This was simply an impressive pie, indeed! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=72&select=-5ich-E3lcSWgrzXYPVisA SERVICE I called ahead and placed my order with a friendly gentleman whose name I couldn't recall. I was told it would be ready within 45 minutes which was fine. I arrived a bit early to a very busy pizzeria, to which I waited an extra 15 minutes before my order was done and packed up. No worries, as I watched TV and simply observed the "mayhem" in this place. I wasn't in a hurry, so all was good - grazie! PARKING (Street; N/A this instance) This was an easy flat 20-minute walk from my friend's place. Otherwise, there appeared to be plenty of spots (no known private lot) along the main drag of Newark Ave. and all surrounding roads - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A simple interior layout https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=48&select=YA57QUy6J9z38Y_Kkkay_A with a tidy dining area of booths and a couple of small tables, a bar table along one wall, and the order counter that looked into the kitchen at the back. Several framed pictures of family members adorned a brick wall while the menu https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=72&select=4AsL8gHDPNd5MobPtL3MyA was posted on another wall. Plenty of natural lighting came through the front window and door while soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There was one TV (volume on) while there wasn't any background music. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=48&select=4WAmbzYptvChB1edodHcSQ ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Larry & Joe's Pizzeria was an incredible example of a close-knit family eatery that was lovingly supported by the neighborhood and vice versa, which gave me the warm-and-fuzzies. From tasty food, large portions, reasonable prices, good menu selection, and wonderful service, this place hit all of the feels. And, I always loved supporting small businesses whenever possible. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $54.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). Sadly, they were CASH ONLY (my only knock), so no AMEX! 4.0 STARS

I think the quailfy looked good and I usually love detroit style pizza but everything was salty. Also, not sure what's going on with their soda machine but I wanted Sprite and they tried twice and it was definitely not Sprite. It tasted just like sparkling water. I raised concerns but the waiter just looked at me like I was crazy. They left it on the bill even though I insisted that what I got was not Sprite. It's super dark in this place - that's part of their vibe. They have some black light and neon lights but overall very dark. Probably should've have picked this place to catch up with old friends that I haven't seen in a while. It was also loud so hard to hear the person 2 people down from me.
