As I'm writing this, my mouth is watering just thinking about how amazing this pizza was! Out of all the pizza spots in Jersey City, I'm so glad I chose this one. The service was great, and the slices were even better--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but on the day we visited, the indoor area felt a bit too warm and the outdoor seating was packed. Luckily, there's plenty of convenient public seating nearby, so we still got to enjoy our food comfortably. Definitely a spot I'd return to when I'm in the area and craving a good slice!

Stopped while visiting JC. Got lucky with close street parking. Got myself a plain cheese slice and my son a pepperoni slice. They warmed them up and boxed it and we took it outside to eat. Had to sit at a bench since their outdoor seating was taken. They did have indoor seating however it was pretty warm inside so we just the nice summer breeze outdoors. I was skeptical since it is thin sliced pizza but let me tell you it was absolutely delicious. Both my son I ate our slices and left no crumbs literally. Perfect crunch, tasty sauce, and the cheese was so good! Plenty of pepperoni for my little guy to enjoy on his slice and he shared one with me and it was also good. Great service and the person working was friendly to my toddler who was shouting PIZZA with so much excitement. Will come back!

I cannot leave this establishment without getting a slice of the bayou beast (yes I am from the south). It has crawfish, shrimp, sausage, jalapeños, and mozz. Insane flavor. All of their pizzas are fun combos and they do it well. You come here when you don't want a classic plain slice

Two Boots is part of small chain that has locations in the Village and Park Slope amongst other places. The Jersey City location is its newest branch. The interior is folksy and designed to be kid friendly. The place is intended to be a fusion of Cajun and Italian fair. I started with something more simple- a pepperoni slice. The slice was good - their sauce is more savory than sweet which is my preference. The crust has more of crunch than a crisp.

    V for Vegan pizza

I definitely recommend grabbing pizza from Two Boots. Twos boots is located in downtown Jersey City. Their pizza is so delicious that I felt guilty for only having once slice. I suggest trying the v for vegan pizza because it was chefs kiss. The v for vegan pizza is a non-dairy cheese pizza with artichokes, shiitake mushrooms, red onions, and basil & red pepper pestos. I will definitely return and get that pizza again. I tasted some of the pepperoni pizza and that was also yummy. If I lived closer to Jersey City this would be my go to pizza spot.

    "Tony Clifton"

Service was very helpful with questions regarding all of their delicious options. Was pleased to order an IPA with my pizza. I stuck with my fave - "Tony Clifton". How many of youse like this one too?! Was able to grab a seat and JC was chill that night so it was relaxing. Next time I'm ordering something new. You can't really go wrong!

Fav Large Grandma Bess in Jersey city! $30.50

The best grandma slice in town! The decor is cute and very trendy, service is alright in speed, I always order ahead on Uber eats than pick up. They don't give you any pepper or cheese to take home though that's what's annoying but that's alright. The extra sauces like pesto or chipotle that's 75 cents each are so tiny barely for one person. So for that i take away one star but there's no complaints about the pizza itself. Even my picky New Yorker mister is happy with this grandma pie. Can't wait to try the other pies.

Go to pizza spot in JC! They have a great variety of pizzas including veggie pizzas! My favorites are the Cleopatra Jones and the pepperoni. Love the crust and how thin the slices are here! The service is pretty quick and the server was extremely nice. Really casual spot to grab a slice on your way to the train or late night after a night out!

Was in the mood for a simple cheese pizza and decided to stop in to Two Boots! I enjoy my visit each time i come. I dont know why but something about two boots reminds me of Jersey Shore pizza. The thin crust and slightly spicy tomato sauce. I just always enjoy the pizza. Staff is really nice at this location. Nice size dining area with the coolest artsy decor. Def worth the tough parking.

I love Two Boots because their pizza is always good and they have great vegan options. This was my first time ordering from this location. The pizza wasn't as good and there was a hair on one of the slices as well which made me lose my appetite.. I was excited to find a location in NJ but was let down by my experience.

    Caesar salad

The lady at the front, who took my order is unprofessional-- I was having a moment with my husband on "who should pay the bill" and I raced him to it, the lady taking my order raised her voice and sucked her teeth because she forgot to add our drinks. She later proceeded to make my Caesar salad and said "oh, sorry I added too much cheese. I don't think she likes her job. This place use to be amazing before you hired her!

Small Vegan Night Tripper ( gluten free)
    Anusha V.

This has been one of my favorite places to get pizza in jersey City. This place is a dream for people with food allergies/restrictions. My go to is always the V for Vegan or the Vegan night tripper with a gf crust. Back when I did eat gluten my absolute favorite choice was their grandma. You can order online and pick up as well. They have a points system that converts into rewards. I also love that you can just get a slice and this way you can try more flavors/toppings. I hope they start serving gf slices but I'm glad they at least have the option of ordering a pie. The service is always polite and quick. There is plenty of seating inside and the whole place has a quirky and chill vibe which makes it a great place to hang out with friends.

What brand of vegan chicken and sausage is used? Is it gluten free?

Two Boots doesn't specify, but if you need to avoid gluten, the Super Vegan & Vegan Tony Clifton are really good. I love their GF crust!

I stopped by in a group of 3 for dinner and we decided to start the meal with their bread and butter tasting ($18). If you love butter, this is totally worth it! You get to try two varieties of their baked in-house breads and the cultured butters they serve are really fun to try. I appreciated that the butter servings were big enough that I could slather a generous layer of the butter onto each piece of bread. My only regret was not ordering more bread. Another pleasant surprise was their salad! I'm usually not one to order salads at restaurants (I could just make it at home!) but I was pleasantly surprised by the salad they had that day. We ordered 3 of their pizzas to try a variety and to take leftovers home. The pizzas were savory, cheesy, and the crust was as delicious as I'd expect! But if I were to be completely honest, I'd save my stomach space to just have a meal full of their bread.

The tables are very intimately organized. Service was attentive. The pizza was super fresh and we enjoyed the pies we shared. The real star of the show were the meatballs. We had already ordered bread (also good, but some of the butters are an acquired taste) and almost skipped the meatballs. So glad that we didn't! Definitely worth a visit. :)

The sauce was nice and garlicky! Then we got a few pies for my son's bday party in June 2025 it looked flat and soggy. We didn't even complain about it. It was nothing like the pie I had the first time. Over a year later I ordered a pie today. I asked for the pizza to be not burnt but when I opened the pie it was flat and not cooked throughout. I called back and the lady that answered said well you asked for light no I asked for it to not be burnt I didn't know that meant the dough would not be fully cooked. Now they were nice when I ordered the pizza and when I picked up but when I called back she just said you asked for it light. And said next time you can do it regular. She didn't really offer a solution for today. I asked her if I put it in my oven would it come out right. It's currently in my oven. I'm so mad I could have gotten a pizza from vinnies for less but wanted to see if the pizza would be like the first time. Well pizza dough still looks raw After cooking . Will never event shop at this place again. When I was handed the pizza today she even said oh this is a heavy one. It was heavy bc the dough was not cooked . 30 dollars down the drain. No solution was offered for today it was like she was in a rush to get me off the phone with no solution it was my fault for asking for a pizza that wasn't burnt. I have worked in customer service and this is not the way you handle anything in the food service industry. She literally said next time just ask for it regular. What about this time. The only reason I'm giving two stars is bc the first time pizza was so good like the best pizza I ever had. I know customers can be annoying but the way this was handled was not right. Please see pictures of the crust that is clear in color. Not fluffy just not cooked. Dough didn't rise at all .
