This park is located right next to the highway which has very little traffic. During the day, occasionally an ATV or dirt bike goes by but since this is rural Nevada, this is expected. ATV's are an essential form of transportation around here. Making reservations was a breeze and the owner Linda could not be more helpful. True pride of ownership, she and here staff are great. We easily pulled in with our 30ft bumper pull to a relatively level dirt space. The park is dirt so bring a mat/flooring to throw down at the door of your Rig. Our friends stayed in Site 24 with their giant ++40ft 5th wheel and they maneuvered into their site with little effort. These sites were 30amp but with the mild temps and trees throughout the park, we didn't need our A/C. We stayed 3 nights and the prices were very reasonable. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is a great spot. Do some research, buy some maps, and do some exploring around Fish Lake Valley. There is so much to see. Or, pull up a comfortable chair and relax in the campground. Either way, you can't go wrong.

That is nothing but a smiling manager, pull-thru sites and still only $25 a night. This RV park is easy to get into and out of. There's a lot to be said about that. And, since our first review of the park 7 years ago, we have stayed here numerous times on the north and on the way south. Okay, okay ... it sit right off the highway but that's what makes it so easy to get into. If you don't like the highway noise, close the doors and imagine what you are hearing are waves from the ocean. I'm sure we'll be stopping a lot more time in the future too.

However, given that it was Labor Day weekend and we managed to snag a spot on a walk-in basis, we were pretty pleased. You can only stay one night without a reservation. We paid around $45 for that night ($35 for the night and an extra $10 for an additional car, if I remember correctly). This campground is decent, but it's not that deep-in-the-woods, nature-immersed kind of vibe, if that's what you're after. The campsites are tightly packed together, lots of RVs lined up in a row - it can get a bit crowded and noisy. It's more like an RV park than a wilderness retreat. There are reasonably clean bathrooms, and you can grab a $2 token for a 7-minute shower. There's a fish cleaning station, and while the little river nearby had a bit of trash, it is cool to fall asleep to the sound of the stream. Big shoutout to Pam, who I believe is one of the campground managers. She's a real sweetheart, super helpful, and even went above and beyond outside of regular business hours.

We were able to fit a 40 foot 5th wheel but dont have room when you get out of your rig. NARROW spaces. Manager of the park told us since we are staying for extended days she would get us a almost corner space and not park someone next to us to give us room to open our awning. First day was ok. But 3pm today manager tells us we need to put up our awning, move all of our chairs, and tables, etc. She was parking another motorhome next to us. Would not be an issue if the park was packed but this place is empty. There is empty spaces everywhere. When we asked the manager why they couldn't be put somewhere else she ignored us. Go to another campground.
