HOLY MOLY THIS PLACE IS GOOD! We were looking for a place to get dinner that wasn't too far of a walk from our airbnb. Found this location and it had some decent reviews and why not? It's called Spaghetti after all! We were immediately greeted by their waitstaff. They were so friendly and patient. There weren't many people dining at this place at the time we went, but I imagine this place can get crowded during peak hours. We got their cacio e pepe and carbonara. Now we have heard that the food in Italy is amazing but had NO IDEA it would be THIS AMAZING. Both creations were delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente and integrated well with the sauces. Each bite was heaven man. My wife and I both agreed the pasta here was the best we have ever had in our entire lives. We even ordered a bunch of stuff togo so we could enjoy it in the morning (not as good given it wasn't fresh anymore). Next time we visit Rome again, we will definitely be coming here!!!! read more

We had the most incredible meal here! This was my favorite meal in Rome. The Amatriciana was mind blowing, we also had the carbonara and pizza Diavola. I would get it all again (and plan to in about 3 weeks). The service couldn't have been better. I was visiting Rome for 2 days and while my friend went into the Vatican Museum I went walking around and yelped restaurants near and found this gem. They had seating outside and inside. I decided to eat inside because of the smoke outside (they still smoke outdoors)! The pleasant waiter took me inside and offered me some wine which I asked him to pick for me. Looking for a quick bite near our hotel near Vatican City I was worried this would be a mediocre tourist trap type Italian restaurant. I was unexpectedly surprised to find it not busy and even more impressed with the pasta! We had the spaghetti carbonara and it was just perfect! It was extremely flavorful, large portions, and perfect pasta texture. The service was also great and the food came quickly. Came here to eat when I was in Rome after visiting the Vatican. There wasn't that many people besides some couple outside so we were seated inside and ordered lasagna. The food was delicious but their service got clumsy after a large family came in, they forgot our fries and then tried charging us for two orders of it. Brilliant marketing here naming this place spaghetti to attract American tourists (got me!). But overall, it's a solid 4 star lunch spot where you can catch a bottle of vino and a plate of pasta and keep on trucking down the line. Came here after a trip to the Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel because of the sign outside indicating they had homemade pasta which was welcoming considering the generic dinner I'd had at campo de fiori the night before with boxed pasta. The noodles were the best pasta I've ever had, the texture was amazing and they were cooked perfectly al dente where they still had texture and weren't mushy. This place is great, I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't a tourist trap. Even the Caesar salad ended up being pretty good. Amazing authentic pasta !! This is super close to the Vatican so we thought it was a tourist trap. But the pasta here was amazing al dente and full of flavor! My friend got the gnocchi was topped with fresh mozzarella balls and full of flavor. I got the pasta with chicken, zucchini, & smoked cheese. Topped with some chili flakes, they were both lovely at 10-12 euros. The water was for 2. I had higher expectation given for the few reviews listed the restaurant had 4.5 stars so maybe the food is better for lunch and/or dinner. The ham and cheese omelette was made with some sort of processed cheese that reminded me of nacho cheese sauce and the vegetarian omelette was super oily which I'm not quite sure why since it was just eggplant and zucchini inside.
