Great pizza at a great price. This is better than any other pizza places in the area. The beef was seasoned and had flavor. The cheese and toppings were evenly distributed and the pizza was crafted with care. The guy that was working their was very nice and courteous. I am now a regular. read more

I'm not sure how or why this place has such an overall high score, their pizza was terrible, like even worse than Chuck E' Cheese or CiCi's pizza. Should've have known just from the pictures alone that the pizza was bad but based on the high reviews and limited places delivering we tried it. My strong recommendation would be to order pizza from literally anywhere else beside this place. read more

The pizza here is mediocre. It's not thin crust pizza but is pretty close and the crust isnt thick or crunchy. The pizza was super floppy and could use alot more crispness. The salad was half croutons but had a good flavor. The wings were pretty good but were small. Didn't get to try the onion rings but maybe next time. read more

The first time I ordered from here the pizza got a thumbs down, I determined that it may have been the pizza I chose (Cajun) that was a mistake never again however I ordered from here again on 01/03/2025, this time I ordered the meat lovers and it was a totally pleasant experience, the pizza was good, need amount of everything and no ingredient competing with the other. A tad disappointed with our Sunday order. I ordered my usual meatballs and spaghetti with Alfredo. Upon arriving home it was saturated in marinara sauce. We also ordered lasagna for the first time and sadly there was only ONE noodle present. The dish was mainly a bowl of marinara sauce with cheese baked on top. I did call to inform them that my dish was incorrect and they offered to replace when I wish. Most places I will check my order before leaving, but here they use tiny plastic bags and tightly knot them so you would have to rip open to inspect before leaving. Hopefully this was just an off day. read more

Came in for the first time and had the Battered Mushrooms and the Cajun Chicken Pizza. Both items were phenomenal, the mushrooms tasted fresh and were crispy perfection. Loved this place. I visited here on a trip to Houston and it is now one of my favorite pizza spots. I eat pizza a lot but there are many places I try once never to return. Italian Express is not one of them. The pizza is really good and the price is excellent!! To top it all off, the owners are very nice and personable. Had the supreme small and enjoyed it very much. Along with the food the service was impressive. I witnessed a coworker that had some surgery come in for her check and I could tell they genuinely cared for her which you don't see much these days. Had no idea this little place existed! So glad we decided on Friday night dinner here. Everything we ordered was on point! I honestly have no complaints, from the service to the food it was all perfect. I ordered the spinach pizza with the white sauce & it was AMAZING. I tasted a lil bite of everyone's food and was satisfied. Attached pics of what we ordered & not pictured was wings, cheese fries & lasagna that my daughter ordered & it as well was delicious. Okay so got scared from another review to eat here but omg so nice and cute simple inside! Easy to order with the person at the front then sit down they bring your food out and very delicious this was our first time and will definitely be back but ordering everything extra crispy because I like my pizza a little charred! Thin crust is how the pizza comes and super good definitely a new pizza spot for this side of town! read more

This was a nice find! I ordered a supreme Pizza large and parmesan Garlic butter wings via GrubHub through Yelp. It was pretty flawless ordering and it didn't take too long for it to be ready. The storefront was very clean from my perspective which is always a good sign IMO. The cashier was friendly and polite as well. As for the pizza, it was delicious and the wings were REALLY delicious. I actually enjoyed the wings the best lol. All the toppings were fresh as well. I would of liked the pizza too be cooked just a bit longer for crispier edges is my only complaint. If nothing else, I'll be back for the wings. read more

This Pizza place has a new customer for sure! Pizza was awesome I had a personal size buffalo chicken and it was the best I've had. The personal size was actually too much for me so I had some to take home. My husband had a large for only 7.50 2 toppings hamburger and pepperoni he said it was very flavorful. Also tried the jalpeno poppers and they were made perfect. Now let me boast on the guy at the counter that took our order, after visiting a few other places recently with bad service this guy made up for it. He asked us if it was our first time there actually talked with us and was happy that we came to this place out of all the other pizza places closer to us :) thank you for making us feel welcome! It's located directly in the middle of an easy side hood where frequent shoot outs happen , drug raids and things of that nature but being the thrill seeker that I am what the heck man let's go ! They close at 10 pm sharp which is probably safe , you could somewhat comfortably sit inside if you're just passing by for lunch if you just don't look outside lol inside is very clean and inviting & I want to take off one star for location but I literally just can not. I called around 15 minutes before they closed and placed an order for the small buffalo chicken pizza and it was hot and fresh out of the oven it was so yummy & they get 5 stars from me for a combination of customer service , and quality and taste of pizza if you're a thrill seeking foodie like me , this is the spot !!! read more

I love their pizzas here! Each time I have went they have been fresh and very, very good. I love their white pizza and usually make one of my own. If your taste goes to TV dinners and other assorted frozen pre-prepared dishes then this place will suit. Service is terrific. Staff is friendly. I got the pre-frozen spaghetti and meatballs and the special two ingredient carry out pizza. I prefer Pizza Hut thin crust fresh made pizza for both taste and texture. Or Pizzinis on Mercury Drive in Jacinto City. read more

At that time, the rotisserie was already being cleaned, which told me they had stopped preparing fresh chicken for the day. Instead, they were serving pre-cooked chicken kept in a warmer. As expected, this made the chicken dry and hard on the outside. I ordered the 1/2 dark meat chicken with yellow rice and Tequeños. However, I was given two small leg quarters and an extra piece of white meat--which I didn't ask for--all of which were extremely dry. The portion size has noticeably decreased as well. I was also very concerned to see them using spray cleaner near the food, which poses a risk of chemical contamination. On top of that, the Tequeños were extremely dark and tasted like they had been refried, nearly burnt. Adding to the poor experience, one of the girls behind the counter was playing around and massaging her coworkers while customers were being served. That level of unprofessional behavior is not something anyone wants to see while waiting for their food. I've always liked this place for its fresh rotisserie chicken, but it feels like DoDo's has started cutting corners on both food quality and cleanliness. Paying $19.52 for this meal just didn't feel worth it.

My partner and I were sick of the usual chain pizza delivery and wanted to find a tastier and less mainstream alternative. This place didn't disappoint! The pizza is thin, which I love, and the dough is slightly sweet to me. Mozzarella sticks were amazing with thick breading, I can tell they were made in house. I've also had the hot wings second time I went, much better than usual pizza restaurant wings. They have good combos and deals as well. I doubt we'll be going anywhere else in the Channelview area anytime soon. read more

We got a menu sent to our address and usually we have a hard time with finding good take out places that deliver to our address. But this place did. They had some good specials. We got a free large pizza for the purchase of an XL specialty pizza. It was very affordable. The delivery took about 45 minutes just like they said. Pizza was very good. Okay just received my extra large supreme pizza. And I have to say it was great!!! My wife loved it and that's a plus. Even though we don't order out much. I would definitely order a pizza from these guys again. The bell peppers & tomatoes were finely chopped up way BETTER than pizza hut' s supreme. I really think they can compete with these bigger brands in the pizza industry. As long as they keep making good food and providing good service. I tried them several times since they opened up a couple of years ago. But, they must have changed owners or something. Last week I ordered a pizza and it was not that very good. The crust is dry and not very good. The size is smaller and the toppings are about as good as Little Ceasers, which does not say very much. This used to be the best pizza in Northshore, but now two stars is about it. Really hate to give such a poor rating, but they really went down. read more

This was a pleasant surprise! My husband and I loved it. I think, defintley worth the money which wasn't bad at all. If you would like a recommendation please try the bar-b-q boneless wings. They are 100% real white meat and qued to perfection. Pizza was cheesy and not leaving you with a bloated feeling depending on how much you eat. Haha! Service was friendly and delivery was prompt. Honestly the best pizza I've had since I moved to Texas 10 years ago! Excellent crust, top quality cheese and just the perfect amount of browning to the melted mozzarella! Also, the sides we tried were excellent. Fries with a nice Cajun spice, that wonderful mozzarella made into cheese sticks and some wonderful, fresh jalapeno poppers!
