Although the waitress really didn't want to be bothered with me the rather short diner breakfast menu had the classics and that quickly prepared omelette was a tasty WESTERN. The homefries were really good ... actually they were great even without onions in them (Waitress never asked if I'd like onions and rushed away so I didn't ask but these potatoes didn't need onions.). Toast was toast and the jam/jelly selection was universally grape jelly with one orange marmalade. A very good breakfast and I wasn't here to make friends just to warm up ooops ok, so I didn't warm up but the coffee helped, and to do some work. Still worth the food if you're in the neighborhood!

It was all tasty and an excellent flavor/texture balance. The java was refilled twice while I ate. Service was friendly and efficient - as would be expected when the only customer in the house. The only shortcoming was the table syrup, which was generic. An offer of pure Grade B maple would have made this a near perfect ensemble.
