Maria took such good care of my nails, this is a nice locally owned shop with great service.

This was my first time coming to this salon. They were able to squeeze me in on Sunday which I was…read morevery thankful for as they were pretty busy. But the set of nails I left with $200+ after tip, Has all but given up. It's been 2 days and I have had three nails come completely off (on my non-dominant hand that I use less), and the rest are lifting. There was no prep done to my nail bed to secure the Gel-x extensions in place and it shows. Highly unprofessional and highly disappointing especially since I work full time and get off right as they close during the week. I now have to walk around until the weekend with three missing nails and babying my hands like they are made of glass. Because they essentially are. Horrible horrible horrible quality of work here. The worst I have ever seen. Don't go here. Not worth it. Edit: went in person after rushing out of work tonight to talk to someone about getting a refund and getting the nails taken off me. Was told to "chill out" when I expressed my displeasure of the poor quality of the nails I received and was essentially told to just go away because they had other clients and "there's a lot of things that can cause that." Is what she said, but there is no right world where you pay $200 plus dollars for nails and they come off in 3 days for anything other than improper procedure and installment. Absolutely unprofessional and horrible customer service. I wish I could give 0 stars because this place deserves it. Edit: had a phone call after two more nails fell off after I took that photo, but they kept telling me "things happen." And that they did their best but I have never had such a thing happen in the many years I have been getting my nails done. Lifting sure, but not complete failure of FIVE NAILS in THREE-FOUR days. Told me no refund was possible until their boss comes back on Sunday and I can talk with her. The nail tech tried to play victim when it's the business that needs to make this right.

They had me set up in a chair and massage chair, but no one came to do my pedicure until 11:15! 45 minutes I sat waiting because they just want the service and know once your feet are in the water you probably aren't going to leave. Poor service on that end. Another lady walked in after me with an 11am appointment, they got to her at 11:28 so it appears to be the norm. Don't come here in you have other things to do during your day. Very disappointed with the experience.

From the moment I sat down, I knew this wasn't going to be your typical nail appointment. Leila is so friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly loves what she does. What really stood out to me was how much she cares about the health of your natural nails. Mine were damaged from thick dip powder done elsewhere, and she immediately noticed and took the time to gently work with them while explaining how we could get them back in shape. Not only did I leave with beautiful, clean, natural-looking nails, but I also felt like I had just caught up with a friend. If you're looking for someone talented, kind, and genuinely invested in their clients -- Leila is your girl. Highly recommend!

This girl is talented!! I've always struggled with having builder gel/hard gel last, it always used to lift at the cuticle. Leila is so meticulous that I don't have they problem anymore. She is thorough in there ability to perfectly clean up the cuticle and prep the nail for polish. My manicured last for 5 to 6 weeks now, something I never would thought possible. Leila is incredibly talented, she can do pretty much any design that one would desire and she's always coming up with new techniques to make your nails stand out. Leila is located inside of Lola's Salon, there is usually parking but sometimes another business in the strip mall seems to have an event going which clogs parking up. Leila maintains a clean and comfortable space with a soothing ambiance. She is polite and always on time. She always is just a genuinely nice person, you can tell that she loves her craft and she cares about her clients being happy. Leila also offers a loyalty punch card which is so cool. She is working towards becoming an educator for one of the polish brands, which I don't know anyone else that is going that route so I am impressed. I highly recommend Leila!

I arrived about 10 minutes before and was greeted and asked if I wanted tea, coffee, or water. Picked my color, sat in the chair, and started the pedicure. At first I thought the leg massage was a bit short but oh no, the leg massage came AFTER the polish was applied. The massage was likely the best I have ever received with a pedicure and doing it after gave the polish time to dry. What a great idea! (I've never had that happen before). Small family-run business with three pedicure and two manicure stations. Clean and bright, even on a dreary, rainy day. My salon at home advised me to stay away from salons that use the plastic bags so I was happy to see they were not used here. I didn't ask ahead of time what the price was and was pleasantly surprised to learn it was $40, less than I pay at home. There was no upsell pressure, just one of the best pedicures I've ever had! Easy five plus stars!

They have decent prices for that- $35 for basic pedicure and $20 for basic manicure. You still get the massage chair, the lotions, the leg and hand massage and the same care as if you were getting a more spendy option. I was impressed. No cut up cuticles, no pain, friendly staff and I literally walked in and walked out in 45 mins (my son was waiting with me so I actually didn't have an extreme amount of time). They did both hands and feet at the same time which is totally fine with me. Overall, I'd come here again and I might make this a more regular thing.

Exactly a week later 6 nails had popped off. 7 days later 1 more nail popped off. When the nails popped off, I was not doing anything where they should have came off. Baffled. EDIT TO ADD: Not even a week had passed, & two nails have popped off. One was while I was making a bed, & the other, I woke up & the nail was gone..... Easily the worst set of nails I have ever paid for. What a waste of $350 + $30 for tip. I have been here a handful of times now, & each time service gets worse. I don't live in Anchorage anymore, so only stop here due to convenience when I am in town, considering it's right now the road. We booked an appointment for 3 of us, a week in advance. We got there, they started two of us, & I sat in the chair for 30 minutes before they started on my feet, by this time the other two I was with were almost done. One of my biggest peeves is, when they start your manicure while they are doing your pedicure, so you're stretched. Part of the reason I get my toes does is for the relaxation. I had cut my finger nails & toe nails before I left because I like my nails square cut. Both ladies cut my nails again, making them so short that it hurt. The next three days my nails from my feet/hands are sore. Other two people are sore too. When I got home I noticed I had chunks of skin taken out, on my fingers & toes. The lady doing my fingers cut my cuticle with the drill, did not clean the drill, & spooned some stuff on it, not washing anything she touched my open wound with. & the shape of the nails is awful. They are all shaped so different. The paint job is just as bad, & you can see through to the other side of the nails when I'm outside. She did not get the acrylic even close on my thumb, so it looks like I have a week of growth. To say the least, I will no longer go to them for the convenience. We paid $350 for all of us, that's three pedicures, & one manicure. At the end, I didn't even want to correct the lady, as I had sat there from 1pm-4pm. Nails should not take that long. So now I'm stuck with these awful nails. Crazy how much we spend for what we got.

She also did not reshape them correctly and she did not file down the other nails to match length even after I asked her to. The layer of acrylic she applied was so thin and burned my fingers. She also filed off some of the nail finish and didn't fix it even when pointed out and she noticed the problem. My friend I was with also asked for a very simple monochrome stripe design. The man cut her finger multiple times with the dremel tool with the acrylic, got UV-cured gel polish all over her fingers even after "fixing" it. He attempted to do the stripe design and the lines were all over the place. she showed him the inspo photos and it did not look anything like it. She ended up scrapping the design and opting for a chrome, which got all over her fingers and he didn't wash it off. Overall the place seemed clean but the vibe was unprofessional and seemed like they did not want us there. Not sure if it's just because of the time we went (midday on a Friday) but I would caution people on going here if they want anything other than a solid gel nail color.
