I only used the tunnel car wash and vacuums on this visit, none of their other services. The pricing here is pretty steep with the "basic" auto wash at about $18 with the fancier washes running about $33. The wash was decent and the attendant does a quick spray of the front grill and windshield to take care of some of the bugs. The brushes slap your car pretty hard here and managed to open up my tucked in side mirrors and open my gas tank door. Weird, but okay. They didn't do any damage they just slap harder than your grandma. Vacuums were fine and did the job as needed. They are included in the price of the wash. read more

We have gone to this car wash for years. Somewhere in the middle we have tried multiple other car washes but we always end up going back. We love that you can have them wipe down your car after. Our car always looks great.You don't have to tip but we always do. They also offer an interior cleaning/detail which other car washes don't do. The new manager and crew have really stepped up and got everything working to perfection. We love this wash and will continue to support it and the nice people who work there. read more

This place has really lost their mojo. Prices go up but quality goes down. Most the time the water fall at the end barely works and leaves your car covered in soap. Then it's rare for them to have drying towels available. The carts are out like they are available but no towels to use and non in the discard pile. It's like they just forget. Went in for a car wash and without my approval, they signed me up for monthly subscription. I contacted them on two occasions, including the so called manager, and was promised it would be reversed. After no resolve as promised, I contacted my bank to reverse charge and had to cancel my card to stop the fraudulent charges. This was such a disappointing and frustrating experience. I was so excited to learn that they offered service to clean the inside of vehicles. Although an extreme splurge being on a fixed income, it is very necessary on occasion as I have a couple disabilities that make it difficult to do a good job. I have never had an experience like today. They did not even vacuum out my hatch of my SUV. Time is money and they wasted mine. I pay for the unlimited and for them to wipe down and vacuum my vehicle. Seems like they have really gone down hill in service. Their brushes scratched from the front to the back on the right side of the car. Their brushes are way too extreme. The manager could barely speak english and didn't seem to care about the damage and pretended it wasn't from them. He told us we're one car out of many that has had that experience. I love how this place is conveniently placed near my work. So during break time or after work, I just drive through this place for a car wash. There are a lot of workers here as well. The staff that help wipe down the car are awesome too. I have the unlimited car wash monthly pass so I do take my car to get washed once or twice a week as well. It's kind of awkward though because at the times I do get a car wash, the for staff that wipe down the car, I feel bad for not giving a tip, I mean if I get a car wash from a place, I usually give tips but that's only for a one time car wash. I have the unlimited car wash and forking out about $30 a month for unlimited car wash plus tip at every wash I get can rack up the amount I spend to get a car wash a month. Anyway, I do like this drive thru car wash. Although, one of their rolling brushed did mess up my license plate and bent it...idk what to do about that next time I go here though. I'm so disappointed in this place. This was my first time getting my car detailed. I paid good money, $200, to get the interior detailed. First of all, the back seatbelts have dirt on them still. There are smudges on the window. And while they vacuumed my mats on the top they didn't vacuum the bottoms so there's still dirt and crumbs on the bottom. Second, I asked them to buff out a scratch on the side of my vehicle and they said they'd do it and let me know the price later. They never buffed it out or even attempted to let me know. Third, I pick up my car after it being there for 4 hours and my seats are soaking wet?? I ask them why they are so wet and they tell me "that's normal". It was wet for an entire day after. I usually think it's an exaggeration to say I'd give no stars if I could, but this place really deserves zero stars. Let me explain why. Yesterday, 07/19/2022, I went with the intention of getting my car detailed. The employee there told me I had to make an appointment, so I made one for today, 07/20/2022 at 8:00 AM. I showed up promptly at 8:00, and waited behind the gate by their office. Yesterday, someone came out of their office right when I pulled up. Today, absolutely no one did so. I waited for about 15 minutes and no one had come out, so I called them. No answer. after about 20 minutes, I went and knocked on their office door. A guy opened the door and explained that he was brand new, and that his trainer had abandoned him to go dry cars. At this point I figured it wasn't worth it, and that I couldn't expect good service from a company that can't keep a simple appointment, so I asked him to raise the arm that blocked the road so I could leave. He didn't know how. I asked him to go get his trainer, and he left to do so. After maybe 5 minutes he came back, and explained that his trainer was still drying cars and wouldn't come over for a few more minutes. I had no choice but to give this garbage company even more of my time. Please understand, if and Sparkle Express representatives read this, that the trainee was amazingly helpful given the circumstances. He did all he could, and frankly should be given whatever position the trainer has. Whoever that trainer is, he is a useless employee that can't keep a simple appointment. Finally, an employee who seemed to have just clocked in showed up and opened the gate for me. 30 minutes+ of my life wasted. Don't make the same mistake. read more

Update - I decided to go back in and a supervisor (Cooper) took care of me. My interior looks how I would expect it to now. Unfortunately my experience has been poor twice now here. Don't think I can give them another shot. After agreeing to multiple upsells on their "sparkle wash" and stating I'd give a good tip if done well, I had to ask them to re-vacuum and re-wipe the windows. The console wipe down that was supposed to happen still had dust with now some added spray mist that was not wiped. Pretty disappointing. read more

I have had a pass with includes cleaning the interior for a while now. The first couple times when I had the inside cleaned they didn't do a very good job. It was really busy both of those days and I assumed that they were just low staffed. I went again and decided to give it another shot at getting the inside cleaned as well. There was only one other car there so they were not busy. Again they did a horrible job. I don't expect it to be cleaned perfectly, but there were places all over that were not even touched. I have continued to give them the benefit of the doubt, but today I realized that they don't really care about the quality of their work. I am definitely canceling my membership. read more

We gave our son a monthly unlimited pass for his Dodge Ram as a gift. He had his car washed 4 times there. Today he tore the windshield sticker off and gave it back to us with his thanks. He told us Sparkle never does a good job but maybe they could get most of the truck clean and he could finish the details like the mirrors, grill and wheels when he got home. Today he said he spent 15 minutes after his truck was washed waiting for someone to wipe it down. When they did, they only wiped the hood and the front fenders, and most of the vehicle was dry and still dirty. He will never go back. We also wouldn't go back if there was a decent car wash in our area. It's too bad they don't care about quality. I posted a review on Google and the Owners response was ". . . if you're ever unsatisfied with a wash, please point it out to a manager so we can have a chance to make it right for you. I've already done that and once even went through the wash twice, which took 45 minutes. Apparently they want me to inspect their company's work every time I get a 'Thumbs-up' from their employee, indicating they are done? I've never seen anybody do that. I expect their people to be trained and supervised to do the job they advertise. I want my experience to be a pleasant one. I don't want to get out and complain about a shoddy job every time I visit. I visited Rock Doc for a chip in my windshield that I needed to be fixed. Upon arrival, I was confused on where Rock Doc was; they are not really labeled or advertised here. I think the business is a part of the car wash. Well, I got my chip fixed and the guy that fixed my chip said I could hippity hoppity over to the car wash and get a car wash too. I was totally cool with that! The girl that greeted me was not happy to be there. The guy that was at the front of the car wash before you go through was really really awesome! He scrubbed my grill really good (1/2 the population of bugs live or are buried there) and rinsed everything down really really well. I was impressed. Most people spurt a few drops of water and send you through but he really took the time to give it a good rinsey rinse and scrubby scrub. I went through the car wash and loved the rainbow colors! I was slightly nervous with how quickly it went from soap to drying. I am not sure all the soap came off. The drying was also barely drying. It was as if a 2nd grader blew on my car from 52 yards away. HOWEVER, you then pull into a spot and they give it a good wipey wipe. They make sure your car is drier than Utah on June 28th. Good thing cars don't require lotion. The guys wiping down your car are really nice too. Not to mention that it is a free earthquake simulation for those that want to remember what Utah was like on March 18, 2020. I was in my car during the 5.7 so I can attest that the simulation here when drying your car and the real deal are difficult to tell apart. A few pros include- Water, Mexican food smell, soap, water, pretty soap, brushes that clean, water, guys surrounding your car with towels from Bed Bath and Beyond, scenery of a big colorful chair, nice people. read more

This car wash was excellent when first opened but slowly going downhill. Two months ago I let someone know the vertical brush that goes down the passenger side didn't contact the car. Today two of them didn't contact the car. The horizontal brush that cleans the hood and roof came down half way along the hood, missing some. Half the rear of the car was missed. The towel dry team tries to wipe missed spots but that leaves scratches, and not a replacement for maintaining your equipment. Please fix these problems. Meh, this place is fine, but for $16, you'd think you'd get a pretty dang good external car wash, but nope. Back and front windshields were still dirty and the bottom half of the car looks like the wash cycle didn't even touch it. I was in dire need of a wash but didn't have time for a full-service experience and went with the most basic package. I also pulled in 15 minutes before closing time, which I don't usually like to do. But since I was not purchasing the hand-towel option, I didn't feel too badly about it. The lady who took my payment was friendly and got me on my way pretty fast. I loved the self-serve vacuums, especially the two options in nozzle size. For a $7 wash, I was pleased. I went here 2 weeks ago to get my 2010 Honda Pilot detailed before selling it. I was a little concerned because there were some harsh reviews on here, but I decided to go ahead & give them a chance because they offered a full detail with an engine cleaning for just $207 with tax. I have come here and do the exterior and interior car wash always. I leave good tips but never again. It looked like they barely touched the inside of the car and the back still had dirt of the car. I showed the guys who cleaned it and they looked like they didn't care. I showed the young lady in the office and she agreed it looked like they didn't touch it. Yes I have dog hair in the car. I never come away from Sparkle Express unhappy! I honestly don't know why I go anyplace else. The wash is great. The car comes out clean every time, and the manic happens after you pull out of the bay! The attendants wipe down your car and make sure it's all clean and dry! I have even had them open the doors up and wipe down the doors! It's amazing! The people are generally very nice and attentive. The facilities are clean. The vacuums really suck!! I've been a monthly member for a long time now and lately have been very disappointed in the Riverton location. One day it literally never opened. Usually the dryers skip parts of my windshield. Another day I went there and got into the car wash and they sprayed down my car twice only to tell me the car wash was not working and sent me away. I drove to the other location and it closed two hours early. Today, the teenage girls in the lobby left one side open for an extended period of time as I waited in the 'monthly' line. So I reversed and switched sides, and my car was almost through, and the gate came down barely missing my hood. I mentioned it to the girl when she finally came out and no apologies or anything. She went in to open the gate for me, and as she did, the other side went down and almost hit another car if you had to slam on the brakes. Been a monthly member here for over 5 years. Then about 6-8 months ago there was management change and I can't even tell you that the service went from an 8-9 to now a 2-3. I pay for the best wash and they haven't even touched my wheels in the last 3 visits. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they are 26 year old kids. But it keeps happening. Luis was the previous manager and was always watching the work the kids work. Now there isn't management to be seen anywhere. I have a monthly pass. I come at least once a week to make it work spending $30 / a month. This place has always had teenagers or younger folks drying off your car. Sometimes they do an "alright" job and MOST of the time I end up pulling into a stahl and drying the rest of it off. (I have a Black car that I hate water spots on). Not today peeps! I pulled in and Bryan and Patrick did such a phenomenal job. Thorough as can be!!!! It felt like the first time coming here. I wish I had cash to have tipped. THANKS so very much. Horrible management and customer service. Their employees damaged the tint in my car. They filled out an incident report and asked me to get an estimate. I let them know the cost and they told me they would get back to me. I had to call them back and they said "oh we will agree to 50/50. Um...no! I didn't damage my car, you did! They don't care. I'm filing a claim with my insurance since I have a low comprehensive deductible. It makes me so mad that they don't take responsibility. I can't even talk to the owner. Best deal in town. The interior of my Jeep was covered in dirt and dried muddy water from a rainstorm. The employees were very meticulous and detail oriented, even removing items from the glove and center console. There is zero efficiency at this car wash. Seems like there is no manager on the floor. I got ultimate wash (interior and exterior) that they advertise "15 minutes". Literally 35-40 minutes pass and I'm looking inside and my car has not been touched. I see all these employees standing around (no team effort) to get these cars going. I finally asked how much longer and they said "oh the car in front has not been cleaned yet. So another 15 minutes " like instead of waiting around for the car in front to be finished why isn't my car being worked on regardless? Poor management and efficiency. I come here all the time with the monthly pass and the drying service is just getting worse. I keep getting smear marks all over the windows and the back of the car. The car wash is almost worthless if you don't get them to wipe off the dirt. However, they are getting lazier it seems. They also never do my wheels and I've asked them to do it every time and I have the highest level of monthly service. I understand gratuity and I always tip but I'm starting to not because they are just doing a horrible job. I guess if you guys are lacking in gratuities then improve your service like you used to have. I thought I already did a review but Yelp is asking me to do it again, so I'll summarize: I made an appointment for detailing, and when I arrived at the correct time there was only 1 employee there, and he was a trainee. He said his trainer was washing cars and wouldn't come address me. I ended up waiting there for 30 minutes blocked in by their gate and the car behind me because the trainee hadn't been told how to raise the gate. They made an appointment that they had no intention to keep. If it's relevant, this was on June 17, 2022. 8:00 AM appointment. To be clear, the new guy was incredibly helpful and did all he could. The trainer, on the other hand, is a useless employee who can't keep a simple appointment. Fire that guy the second he trains the new guy. read more

Wait times have increased while waiting for an interior cleaning and the quality of the cleaning has not been what it used to be.
