Sparkletts sold out to Primo Water and they're overcharging for water. I will never go back to them again!

I just ordered their service and i got the delivery on 8-19-24 water is pretty tasty I also rented the water cooler which is handy. I decided to go with them as they had a $ 50 dollar promo that as I finished my order online it read "Promo applied -$50" for this order, next day I check my bank online and see that I'm charged $50 dollars for the services and what not as per deposits and all, but then there is another charge for $ 55.00 dollars and then log in to my Sparkletts account and see that the promo was removed, I suspect it was done internally and intentionally. I hope that this reaches to the CEO or president of "Sparkletts" cause he or she needs to know that people in his company are costing him money, customers!! As I immediately cancelled my account after customer service couldn't or wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor or manager, i'm suppose to get a callback from a manager. Anyway I should of checked the yelp reviews beforehand as I see they have only one star, Go figure!! Probably means that upper management dont care either. I encourage more people to please do your due diligence and whenever people are fucking you over intentionally TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! Sparkletts Water - Empty water 5 gallon - Water Delivery Near Me - North Palm Springs, California

We live in the high desert and had a standing order for water delivery which was working out ok, until it wasn't. The water guy didn't show up. The orders got changed. We were on the phone with some corporate office in some other state nearly every day, trying to re-establish our water delivery. Got emails saying "Your water has been delivered" when it was not. Finally a water truck did come by and left some water... at a neighbor's house. It was too heavy to pick up and carry over a half acre; 10 empties were left outside our garage. Every day we were assured that our water person would contact us but he never did. Today when I called the corporate office the exasperated clerk said "Shall I just cancel your service? I don't know when or if we'll get water to you and if you talk to my supervisor you won't get any more information." So... we will be canceling. EDIT: I just gotta add this. Since writing this review Sparkletts water did show up and did deliver water... AT ANOTHER NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE! . Now they have left our water at the house to our right and the house to our left! I can't get anyone to return my call at Sparkletts and after reading the other reviews I can see why. I have been without water for a month. My driver, Buck, has been a great driver for years so I am not sure why no one is showing up to deliver water on my regular delivery days. When I call the 1-800 number they tell me water is on the way and quote my next delivery date that is in the system. The date in the system keeps changing and no one shows up ever! I am beyond frustrated. I sent an email to Rick Reyes the Route Operations Manager and got no response as well as not answering the phone. I tried to contact my driver and got no response. How can a company operate and be this unprofessional is beyond me. I have been with them for years but I think it's time to search for a more dependable and customer oriented company that will show up when they are supposed to. read more

We are an existing client close to 2 years. We were missed on our delivery scheduled for April 7, 2020. I have called 3 times to get our water delivery with no response. I have also sent a text to our driver that delivers the water 2 times with no response. We are older and it very difficult to handle the 5 gallon water to try and go out and refill them ourselves. We know that Sparketts is experiencing a dramatic increase in orders but we don't feel that is a reason to blow off your existing clients. Customer service is an absolute, abhorrent nightmare. And legitimately, 90% of deliveries manage to somehow get stuffed up in some way shape or form. I once received nine 5 gallon glass bottles of water, when I ordered 3. After asking to sparkletts to correct their mistake and not to charge me, my card was still charged. I currently have seven empty glass 5 gallon bottles sitting my one bedroom apartment because they keep messing up the delivery / pickup dates. What's more, the website is faulty. It glitches and skips my deliveries when I never made such an edit, and it states delivery dates which contradict my email and text messages. It also keep glitching the amount of water I request. HORRIBLE customer service! I cancelled their services after no water delivery for over a month when they kept promising it was on the way. I ordered a brand new water dispenser from Amazon with new water delivery service from Nestle and had my empty Sparkletts containers on front porch, Sparkletts delivery driver finally came to get my empties and he STOLE my newly delivered water dispenser that Amazon had delivered. I have called Sparletts customer service everyday for a week now to get my new dispenser returned with no help. I have called and scheduled delivery 6 times, with each rep assuring it has been escalated to the branch manager and that delivery will happen "tomorrow " and it stilll hasn't. If I only had a choice for ZERO STARS. I too am a Costco referred​ Sparklets Water customer in the Palm Springs area. The ONLY reason I signed up for this Sparklets service was Forrest Gump at Costco told me I would​ be able to order water "on call" (meaning several bottles when I needed them). This was his response to my objection that when I've had water service in the past and I end up stockpiling extra bottles of water - thereby paying for water I do not use. Now almost 2 months​ later when I confronted him again of this claim he insisted that he told me If I, .." went on vacation I could suspend the water service". There is a big difference! After I signed up with service through Costco I waited. The driver showed up unannounced​ one day when I asked him to come back (and agreed upon a time which he never showed up) my service was canceled. I restarted the ​service (like an idiot). The driver came and I explained I was told I could have water service "on call". The driver told me he'd have the Manager call me. It's been almost 2 months and I have a cooler sitting in my kitchen with no water. After a visit with Forrest Gump at Costco and an email on my behalf STILL no contact with Sparklets! I should point out while I was standing in Costco explaining my complaint to the representative he was asking me to wait while he tried to coerce new people into starting service! It was infuriating​! In the end,​ I believe​ the matter with contacting the Sparklets Water manager Anthony​ is that he does not answer his Phone. I don't answer my phone either. So I guess when a customer doesn't answer their phone and a certain Sparklets Water Company (trying to sell​ services) doesn't answer their phone nothing gets done. This has been a terrible experience. I encourage everyone with Sparklets Water issues to contact Costco to express their anger and point them to this YELP! review site​. First ney never showed up to change the filters, our company moved and we schedule 5 (times) the pickup of the machine and the moving to the new location, every time they just did not show. Thursday - Requested an earlier delivery date (we had extra people in the house) - we were assured it would be no problem. Delivery would be Monday. 2. Monday - no water 3. Did fine delivering the water, but they tried to make it impossible to cancel when I was moving out of state. Following the phone maze for canceling and spent an hour at a time on hold. Went to a different department, who of course couldn't help though she seemed to want to. Finally sent a letter and hoped for the best. Found out they reported $147 to credit bureaus and then sold the debt to some bottom feeders. Tough getting clean water in the desert, and then having to work with businesses like this. read more

Billing is incorrect. Picked up 3 empty on a Thursday. They didn't have purified so they dropped it off 3 bottles the next day but did not show the 3 returns for deposit. Now it shows I have 7 gallons of water when I only have 3. Attempting a 3rd phone call and have been on-hold for over an hour. Still waiting for a customer Service Associate.. Is there a live body to answer the call because I cannot dispute these charges with their "on-line" service. They state they are committed to great customer service. I think NOT. Just had a terrible experience with the Sparkletts delivery driver. First, I watched him run the gate into my small gated community. Then he saw my small dog running towards his tires and wouldn't even slow down! I had to scream at him and step in front of the truck to ensure he didn't run my dog over!! I yelled "what is wrong with you?" And his response was "if you kept your dog on a lease, you wouldn't have this problem" He then gave me the finger as he sped off. Sparkletts water has given me 4 dates on when they would come to service my house with water and they cancelled every single time I'm so over this. I signed up for water delivery through Costco and was given Sparkletts Palm Springs as the service provider. BIG MISTAKE. I had my water cooler installed in August of 2016 and paid my bill online twice. Since then I was locked out of the online billing system. I called MULTIPLE times asking for a paper bill and never recieved one. I had water delivered on March 1, 2017, I got an email saying an "electronic invoice" was ready to read on March 18, 2017 (which I can't access since I am locked out) and now today I got a COLLECTIONS bill from them. I should have heeded the warnings in the reviews I read regarding their "service" after I too mistakenly enrolled into their DS Services delivery program which is offered through Costco. We went through a nightmare from startup; it took somewhere between two to three weeks just to receive the dispenser. This was after numerous phone calls were made to their customer service line, and only after we decided we requested to cancel the service due to their inability to perform the first task. The route manager contacted us and promised that we would receive our dispenser, but it still took one or two missed deliveries EVEN at the manager's level! When we enrolled we were assured that we would have the dispenser within a few days! Alas, we received it and were told that we would have a free case of water in consolation of our problematic startup experience. Well as you can guess, we NEVER received it. We moved and I updated the address two months ago with them. Since then, only one of the three scheduled deliveries actually arrived. It is very frustrating to think I am paying to rent a dispenser in which I cannot utilize; because I am also paying for a water delivery service which occasionally DELIVERS the water. We have been purchasing bottled water from Costco because we cannot rely on their deliveries. I received my first bill at my new residence and noticed that I am now being charged at a higher price per bottle. I contacted their customer care line and the representative had difficulties finding a solution to my concern. Not only did it frustrate me that I kept having to direct the discussion towards a solution to my concern but later upon my arrival I come to find out, coincidentally, yet ANOTHER delivery was skipped! Today I again contact their customer contact line and the representative was helpful up until I mentioned that I wish to terminate my service with them. She insisted on having a route manager contact me to give me an explanation as to why the deliveries are not being made. I had to repeat myself several times until I was able to discontinue my service. Not to mention the time it took to resolve my concern regarding the final billing. I was there was a 0 star option. If you call their customer service, they have you push whatever number coincides with your issue. No matter what number you press you get directed to "billing", then they have to transfer you. I sat on hold for 55 minutes before hanging up and dialing again. Then sat on hold for 20 minutes. Hung up and called back the next day, hold for another 20 minutes. I called back and asked for a manager, I was on hold for 15 more minutes. I called back and asked to cancel my account, she said "I can't do that, I'll have to transfer you", and I've been on hod for 45 more minutes. Supposed to have bottom loading water dispensers but call representative couldn't put it in the computer. Wanted me to be a home 8 full hours with the "chance" that the rep might have a bottom loaded dispenser on the truck that day. So you're offering a convenience that I can pay an extra monthly fee for but you cannot accomplish putting it in the computer and having it show up during my first full day of waiting for you to show up??? I spent over an hour on the phone trying to sort out the first scheduled delivery - then no phone call to advise of time, despite it being promised, and I had to rush home to meet the guy who had meantime already delivered to the wrong address and was then so rude I put him out of my house.
