Wow, just wow! That's all I want to say but Yelp requires me to write more so here we go. Had them for over a year but lately they lost their mind. I have a standard order for three 5 gallon water bottles and two 24 packs of bottles water. They decided to deliver 2 and 1 instead of 3 and 2. I ran short on water so told them to give me an additional delivery of 3 and 2. They dropped off 1. Had to contact them and explain yet again I needed another delivery to make up for their shortfall. What did they do? You guessed it, they messed up again and delivered 2 and 2. Gave them a final warning, took screenshots showing my normal order, sat back and waited for them to get things right. You'd figure after 4 emails of them confirming the order and apologizing for not getting it right they would finally put in the effort. Nope. Yesterday I received their normal 2 and 2 instead of 3 and 2. At this point, I'll switch companies as I'm not sure they'd get even if I drew them a picture of the delivery dude delivering me the correct order. read more

Where to start with this company. I thought the call center was very rude and non accommodating. I advised the operator that the tech was late for his service call, it was 2 days after a new filtration system was installed it stopped working. My company supports over 50 employees at this time and the system is there clean drinking water. Now it's been down for 2 days going into the weekend, so another 2 days before I MIGHT GET SERVICE! I explained to the operator we needed the service Friday and she said the tech would be calling, no call! She didn't offer any extra help IE: sending out a manager to deliver some water to hold us over, any kind of discount due to non use for at least 5 days of being unusable. I'm from the old school where the customer is ALWAYS right! So like all I can do is take my business account to a competitor for better service. One of the water bottles was cracked and taped. Obviously it started leaking so we replaced it with the other bottle and a mucus like substance came out of the brand new bottle and dispenser. It was thick and slimy as it dripped out. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable so we called to complain, but we experienced the worst customer service. Worst company to deal with in riverside. They have miserably failed at customer service. This is not open heart surgery. I have to literally call them every week as something goes wrong. I asked for an additional water cooler to be delivered, and 3 weeks later still no delivery. Every time I call customer service they send an email to regional manger and promise delivery date. I should have read the reviews before signing up. When you think of home water delivery, Sparkletts is one of the first names you think of. But wow, what terrible service. My first initial delivery never came, I called towards the end of the day around 330 pm and was advised the drivers work till 5 pm and I should just wait. 530 came around and I called back and this time I was told my initial delivery was cancelled and I would have to reschedule. They rescheduled me for a Saturday, guess what - no one came again. Nobody called me or answered the phone when I called them. I called in on Monday to cancel my service only to be told that their system shows I got my delivery Monday morning. Which just made me laugh as I'm literally standing at home and telling the girl that did not happen. So she proceeded to cancel my service. Next day they call me up in the morning and ask if I'm available to receive my first delivery, really....why does this not surprise me. To which I reminded them I had cancelled my service. Area serviced is Ontario and service stinks. I am sorry customer service for the poor review, but due to the level of service from Mr. Hernandez and routing team you're going to receive a negative review. I had no issues with customer service, just the management behind servicing customers and routing deliveries. 20 year customer just cancelled their services because Sparkletts could not get their business needs together. My deliveries stopped and calls to customer service were handled with superior quality. However, once customer service turned the level of service to the actual person responsible for the deliveries, Mr. Hernandez himself and team, this is when Sparkletts water wore me out. -The customer should not have to fight to get someone to do do their job correctly. The driver is somewhat to blame as well since he's responsible for the actual delivery. From my understanding this driver, Daniel was switched with our current driver and he is partly responsible for me cancelling my services with Sparkletts. Daniel could have left notes on my door as the previous driver did. Daniel could have help rectify the situation by doing what he was told, call my cell because I am not at home. Overall, issue was started from Sparkletts not supplying a 2 liter bottle. Since they now supply a 1.5 liter bottle this is where things went sour. I cannot understand how and why management would look the other way or not take to understand the needs of their customers. Returning a call, or trying to make the situation right would have been well appreciated, but instead Mr. Hernandez decided to let this customer go. read more

Initial service was suppose to be on Tuesday 06/04 its not Friday. I wasted all day on Tuesday like a desperate fool. Wednesday i had to work so i requested to the rep that my dispenser and bottle be left with the lobby. She agreed and notified the route manager. Thursday came and no delivery. Another rep tells me, "oh no.. your delivery route only delivers on Thursday and blah blah... it will come today. Now it's Friday. What a waste of time. Worst service ever. We've been a customer for 3 years and spend hundreds of dollars a month. They received 3 checks over 3 months time, cashed them and still refuse to deliver water to my business. I've even provided them with the checks that have cleared the bank and no response. They simply don't care and don't want my business just sad. Horrible customer service!!!! Reading other reviews I'm not the only experiencing this. Haven't had a water delivery for over a month now. Luckily we had enough on the side til now. Called 8/12/19 requesting we need water, the customer service gal put in for a delivery on 8/13/19 I told her we close at 3:30pm and need to make sure the driver comes before we leave she said no problem I added it to your account. End of day 8/13/19 no water! I Call back 8/14/19 letting them know I didn't receive my water delivery on 8/13 she proceeds to say well he will be there today I told her we close at 3:30 and he's still not here she says well he has til 5pm I proceeded to tell her we close at 3:30 and in the notes in our account it says 3:30 closing. Brooke the customer service says well we can try to make it out tomorrow before you close I told her we HAVE NO WATER!! She transfers me to Tara she proceeds to tells me I'm sorry but we have til 5pm to deliver. What part do they not understand we close at 3:30!! I end up closing my account. We don't get 20 bottles delivered but 2 of my near by business do so when I switch over to a new company I will letting the driver know to hit those two companies to have them switch too. read more

For me it's about convenience very convenient for them to drop off water at my door, sometimes they skip the day they're supposed to drop it off or just kind irritating but they'll come back either a few days later a week later to deliver, but other than that it's very convenient for me and I like their bottled water better than the 5 gallons read more

Deplorable customer service. As many have previously posted the issue is with getting the deliveries. I have had deliveries cancelled without prior notification and other deliveries have been skipped without explanation or notification. Notes are put on the account for the driver regarding quantity or collection of bottles only and are never adhered to. I am paying for a service and should not be treated as they are doing me a favor. It is unacceptable that there is no follow up or clear communication with their consumers. I have yet another missed delivery today and as usual no explanation or notes in the system as to why. I called two hours prior to 5 pm to ensure it hadn't been cancelled again as it was getting near closing and my delivery had not been received. I was assured it was still on schedule, as you can guess by this review that didn't happen. I had considered myself fortunate when the pandemic hit as I had some comfort in having this service for water. I was assured that since they have their own wells there was no need to worry about a shortage. Well, this has been a very frustrating experience and they place no value on customer relations. I will be looking into another water provider. It's a shame that a company with such a long standing history has tarnished its reputation with deplorable customer service. read more

By FAR the worst customer service EVER! Far worse than Verizon or Time Warner. 3 months of double to triple billing with promises of refunds that never came. Over charged for everything and charged for service and products never ordered or delivered. This company is a total rip-off. We are a business. We set up delivery to start Sept 28, 2018. No delivery was made and we did not receive communication from anyone. We called Oct 1, 2, 3, 4 and spoke to multiple supervisors. We were told the branch manager would be contacting us but receive no call. Placed an order at our local Costco. Set up an appointment and they failed to show. There was no phone call and no one bothered to even call to reschedule. We had to call to find out what had happened in anticipation of receiving the bottle water we had not purchased any water for the week. Long story short after many calls and failures on behalf of Sparklets we decided to cancel the service before it ever got started. Can you imagine the nightmare? If this is how they act with new customers, how are they going to conduct themselves in the future. Then they come on a non-scheduled day without telling you and drop off water so now you end up with your empty bottles and new bottles and guess who pays for keeping that many bottles. Due to a turn over of previous good drivers, Sparklett's water is now the worst quality of service company. I have been a loyal customer for three years; I recently canceled earlier this month due to their NEW service driver. Last month, he dumped water bottles at the neighbors front porch, and did not bother to notice he had the wrong address as he did not carry out my empty bottles. As a result, I cancelled service 3 weeks ago, and as of today the driver or his Manager have not picked up empty bottles. This is a reflection of poor service and bad management. Hold times are 20-30 minutes, they don't show up, and you cannot do this "on line" like the hold music says because until they bring the cooler that first time, you're not in the system. The worst customer service. Received a letter from the collection agency stating that I didn't pay the balance on my previous account. I tried explaining to customer service that I didn't see a balance on the online account and their response was we are sorry we can't help you since the account was sent to collection agency. I will be reporting this to Costco since I have the service through Costco. I will try my very best to make sure that Costco removes Sparkletts from their water delivery service. I ordered their service and they were suppose deliver the equipment and never came so i cancelled the service, a month later a truck comes to my home and trys to deliver water. We've had nothing but problems since we decided to sign up with this company. Originally, we signed up at our Costco store because we would be saving more with the delivery service instead of buying cases of water. The representative who signed us up told us that they would be there between 8am and 12pm for setup and call to let us know beforehand so we wouldn't have to worry about missing them or having to stay home all day waiting for them. That was not the case. The day they were expected to show up in between those times, they never did. So when I finally needed to leave to run errands, I came back to the dispenser and two bottles just sitting out in the open on our doorstep. They never called us, and they delivered closer to 3pm in the afternoon. We called to make sure that it was alright for us to set up the machine because it very clearly states on the box that you need a driver present to inspect it and set it up for you to make sure the machine is in working order. The customer service rep said, no, its fine you can set it up, I will walk you through it. We do exactly as she says and when we've waited past the allotted time to use it, we find out that the hot water portion of the machine doesn't work. We call back and tell them this and they come to replace the machine a few days later. The driver shows up way past the time we are told again, still with no call beforehand like requested and sets up the new machine and when we go to use it later, the cold water portion of the new replacement machine doesn't work. I call them again to see if there is anything they can do, because it is ridiculous that we have been given two broken machines. I'm told that yes, they are terribly sorry, they will have a new machine out to us today, Monday, for replacement and that they will call me before showing up. I take the day off from work so that I will not miss the delivery and make sure that the machine is working. Today, when they were supposed to deliver, the only reason I knew they were here were because of my dogs barking. The driver had just dropped off our water and was about to leave before I went outside and asked him if he was here to replace the machine. He said, "Oh yeah, they told me you needed one, but I don't have any. I can bring you one Friday though." I told him that their customer representative told me that they were going to replace it today. They told me it would be today, and I had taken the day off of work to be able to handle this. He said "Oh, they told you today? Yeah, no I don't have any machines, not until Friday, sorry." I had taken the day off of work to be able to make sure that I would be here for the replacement only to be told that, yeah they told us you needed the replacement but we don't have any even though we told you we would be there with it today. This is absolutely the worst service I have ever received. I cannot believe the amount of unprofessional behavior and lack of communication from this company between its employees and especially its customers. read more

Sparklett abuses Elder customer I have been fighting with sparklers for over three months about a charge on my bill they continue to charge my credit card I just finally had to cancel that card and I am going to take Sparkletts to court this is the third time that they have charged my credit card $51 for some water. They continue to say they drop off water when I have cancelled them over and over again then the fact is I'm not even receiving the water so I don't know where they're delivering it. read more

I have had Sparkletts water service for two years and there call center service is horrible. Delivery Service is never when expected. If you are on schedule for a specific delivery day and they are to busy to make delivery. No phone call as a courtesy to inform you! The customer service representative can't apologize enough. They will send a note to route manager and say they will return your call within 24 hours. Never happens. No call no delivery it's whenever they prefer to deliver it. I'm not sure why a reputable company like Costco contracts with them. They delivery drivers will deliver more items than requested because they want to make more money/commission. Then when you call customer service to tell them to pick up the items you didn't order and get a refund/credit on account it takes foreverrrrrrr! read more

A while ago I signed up to get Sparklett's water deliver to our house. A Sparklett's employee came to our house to drop off a water cooler. He asked my wife is she wanted to wait for a new water cooler instead of a used one he brought. My wife agreed to wait and we didn't get any water cooler that day. To this day we have not received any water cooler from Sparklett's. Sparkett's send us to collections for not paying for water cooler that we never received. I tried explaining the situation but they refused to drop the collection. We are done waiting so now we need to hire a lawyer to fix our credit in order to buy a new house. I'm also going to complain to Costco, yelp, Facebook, my congressmen, and BBB. read more

Horrible customer service. I signed up for a home delivery on April 8th. Since it was my first delivery for a water cooler, there needed to be someone home to accept the order. Since I work during the week, I scheduled the delivery for April 23 and took a day off from work so I would be able to accept the delivery. I was home all day and finally called customer service at 5pm asking if the delivery was still coming, which I was told that the driver was out on deliveries and I was scheduled to have my order delivered before 6pm. I waited all day, and finally gave up at 9pm. Still no delivery, and I called customer service on April 28th to see why My order wasnt delivered. I was told that my delivery was rescheduled for the 30th and that someone needed to be home to accept the order and they couldnt provide a reason why it was rescheduled. Needless to say I cancelled everything because I cant take another day off from work just to wait around for a delivery. Horrible customer service and poor management. I agree with all the bad reviews regarding the poor customer service of Sparkletts. We recently ordered the service at Costco and was scheduled to be delivered the following day. No show the following day. Called and rescheduled the delivery. Still no show on the delivery date despite their confirmation email with case #. Called again and found out they have cancelled our delivery due to budgetary issues (???) and rescheduled the delivery date without our consent. I cancelled the whole service and hopefully won't get the bill from them. Indeed, Costco needs to cut ties with Sparkletts!!! read more

I am not one to leave reviews but this is a must in order to warn anyone looking into this water service. I was a loyal customer for 10 years despite the ridiculous high price of 9.99 per 5gal bottle plus surcharge and rental. But what made me cancel is their customer and delivery services. They would skip deliveries without notification. The worst was my last delivery which was missed I had no water. I was told I would get a call to inform of delivery never happened! I called in the morning to cancel service and the delivery guy showed up in the afternoon. He was upset and rude, and was arguing with me. I was told by customer service that equipment would be picked up on a certain date and he was saying he was behind on deliveries and would come back when he was due to come back not when customer service said. I called customer service again and was told that I was still going to be charged the surcharge amount for the driver going out for the missed delivery (that I called in the morning to cancel) and for the day that they pick up equipment! SPARKLETTS WATER SUCKS!! I suppose their water is OK, but their delivery service is the WORST EVER!! They are delivered by a company in Irvine called DS Water Services owned by Connie Genova. They obviously have no idea what they are doing. Since they took the route over earlier this year they have FORGOTTEN to come on my regular service day and deliver water 3 SEPARATE TIMES, leaving me with no water! This is a tea shop and needs to have water!!!! They did not show up yesterday, so I called this morning. They said they will have someone out to deliver this morning and definitely before 5. No one came, so I called again at noon. Again, reassured they would be here today. 5:15 rolls around and no water. No call. No show. No water. I'm through with this joke of a company. I'm so upset right now! We've been out of town so I skipped a couple deliveries to avoid water sitting outside in the Arizona heat. I had one empty bottle that was picked up last month, and in reviewing the invoice, I was credited the $6.00 bottle return deposit, but that was offset with a $5.15 "Energy Surcharge"... I'm very irritated right now with this service. Wishing I had read previous reviews. I was so excited to have a water reservoir in my home and consistent water delivery, as my office in San Diego has a different provider and we are very happy with them. I scheduled for Sparklettes to come this passed Tuesday, took off work and cleared the space in my home. They never showed and when I called they apologized and said they would set up my appointment for Thursday (tomorrow) for delivery and initial set up. I could make the appointment for Thursday as I work from home on Thursdays. Great! Not. Customer service said I'd receive a call from the delivery truck guy to give me the time they would be by. At work today, I received a text from the truck guy to call him. I called him immediately and he informed me that he was by, and he said no one was home. (Well, It's Wednesday!) He said he just dropped everything off and that I can set it up. Oh great! As if I don't have enough work already, now I get to figure out how to set up a sanitary water system in my home. Fast forward a few hours and here I am on the floor with tubes, bottles, papers and a key I can't figure out how to open the hatch. Really? Calling customer service and the truck guy- no response. I had Pure Flo water delivery for 30 or so years. They were efficient, responsive, fair, and had humans answering customer calls. Much to my dismay, they were bought out by Sparkletts, and two new fees were added to my bill, the details of which I only learned when I received their first bill and called them for for more information, waiting on the phone for a human to answer my questions. I have cancelled their service and will find an alternative way to enjoy water. read more

No phone call or email given to let me know i wont receive my water service.When i call the 800 number no one seems to care and all they can do is email the route manager. We had service for 1 (yes 1) month and I was charged over $100 for a cooler and 7 five gallon jugs. Our delivery driver was rude and so was the customer service after 5 calls.
